"I would muchly." She spun around, shooting a ball of fire out of her hooves and in his direction. "Catch!"

Pyrrhus certainly wasn't ready for the ball of fire and barely caught it. He had to step back a few steps and caught it with one hoof. "Whew...." He said making the ball bounce in his hoof. Eyes narrowing in concentration he tossed the fireball up and then hit it sending it flying towards her.

"Ha ha!" Orelinde caught the ball and sent it back, "You weren't ready! You always have to be ready!"

Pyrrhus didn't have any comeback to that, none that weren't lame at least. "Yeah yeah." He said catching it. Tossing it between his two hooves he debated on how to return it to her. Grinning he tossed it lightly so it would land short and make her have to move forward to catch it.

Orelinde moved forward effortlessly to catch the ball, mane and tail trailing out behind her. "On the return!"

Shoot! Not even that fazed her. "You're good!" He said moving to catch the ball. However he tripped over a small rock and fell to the ground. "Uh oh."

She smiled, "Thank you." She waved her hoof to put out the ball. "You need more practice. I will practice with you again, if you want."

Pyrrhus stood up rubbing one of his legs. "Welcome." He said watching her put out the ball, "Yeah. I could never practice with someone else. I'm the only fire talented one in my herd. I would like to practice some more though."

"Huh? My leg?" He said looking at the one he had rubbed, "Oh.... yeah it's fine. Just hit it hard landing."

"I think that we should rest it for now. I wouldn't want to have an unfair advantage."

Moving closer to the stream to take a drink Pyrrhus grumbled something about not needing rest and how he hated that he had tripped in the first place. After taking his drink he looked back to Orelinde. "So Orelinde...... tell me about this forest. Have you lived in here long? Do other elves live here?"

Orelinde chuckled, "My family and my mother's family live deep in the woods, in a part protected by several magical spells. Those who do not know the way get lost and go mad. But yes, there are many others. Several gods, including my family."

Pyrrhus stared at her in partial shock and part awe. "You're related to gods?!" He said in a hushed voice, "That is....... so cool! What's it like? What kind of gods are they? And wait..... if someone gets too close to your home they get lost and go mad?"

She nodded, "That is why I was so shocked to see you so close to my home. And being related to gods isn't much. It's just my father, and on my one side. Though no fire gods in my line. Just wind."
