If chosen, are you interested in being a Team Leader: Of course! The only exception would be Plot. I have the least experience in this area and hope to only become a team member.
Committees you are interested in [Please list in order]: Advertising, Fund raising, Plot
Experience: I have been actively contributing to every ball with the exception of the 1st and 8th Annual Balls. I helped support Poyudi with his Blue forest Fundraiser for the 7th Annual Ball.
Skills: My skills range from Writing to staying organized. Advertising and fund raising are definitely my forte.
Past Positions from Balls: For the 6th Annual planning guild, I helped Freaksrus, the 6th Annual Ball overall host by taking the initiative and became team leader for the Fund raising team after little activity was taking place. I was a 6th Annual Ball cohost for the "Welcome to the West" room. I was a overall host for about a quarter of the year for the 7th Annual Ball planning guild until certain life issues occurred and I gave up my position to dolly14 and her cohosts!
A bit about yourself [Please limit to one medium sized paragraph]: I'm a freshman in college. I hope to become a software engineer someday. During my free time, I like to spend it with me little sister going to the movies, and the park. I love reading. I don't have a favorite book, but I love all sorts of genre's such as fantasy, Scifi, and bibliographies.

If chosen, are you interested in being a Team Leader: Possibly. I'm already captain of another guild that's been around for at least...more than a year already I think. The only thing I wouldn't want to be captain in is the Plot. This is my first year in this guild and I haven't been to every single ball in the past so I probably won't have too much experience in this (nor know about each of the past plots).

Experience: I've been to a few balls in the past but this is my first time helping to create one.
Skills: Writing; staying organized; creativity; roleplaying. I work well with others.

A bit about yourself: I'm pleasant to talk to and I can get along pretty well with almost anyone. I can tolerate a lot if I ever have to work with someone I dislike (though hopefully that won't happen here lol). I guess I can be a little too nice at times.
I'm 16 and entering my Junior year in high school. I love music and I can play the piano and cello plus a few other minor instruments. I like birds. I like reading. I like pie. Et cetera.

A bit about yourself [Please limit to one medium sized paragraph]: You can't bring to bear what a person can and can't do just by not knowing them in person. That's why I try to bring a fair approach to people here in Gaia. They have to exhibit a reason for me to not be able to communicate with them for me to stop communicating with them. Otherwise, I will bend over backwards to help in whatever way is possible. I do art but more in the digital graphics sense since my drawing skill is so-so.

Experience: Roleplaying experience for 4 years and running, but I've been writing for years longer than that. I am also currently running a roleplay thread of my own. As of this year, I have been to three Annual Balls and have enjoyed them immensely. ^_^
Skills: I'm a fairly decent writer with good flexibility and creativity capabilities. I consider myself a decent roleplayer, as well. If nothing else, I am a merciless editor/perfectionist, tediously hammering at the finest details, always. I am diligent, disciplined, and have fantastic ability to work under immense pressure, like in a time crunch.
Past Positions from Balls: Co-host for the Mt. Olympus Room in the 8th Annual Ball, as Zeus.

Experience: I have no prior experience with Fundraising, but I am very interested in it. (I am setting up a Donation Thread, and taking part in the Art Shop). As for plot, I have been coming up with plots for roleplays in the forums, and I've always been a lover of fiction and writing. I even took a creative writing course in high school.
Skills: I am a decent writer, and I'm very creative. I have a habit of thinking outside the box. Now, if only I could find the box so I can actually use it. I am a fairly sociable person and get along well with others. I am eager and willing to learn.

Experience: Aside from over 8 years experience in various role-playing arenas, both forum, chat room, and table-top, I've taken various creative writing courses and been a part of extra-curricular writing and reading groups since I was in highschool. I've got plenty of experience picking up on an idea or a theme and contributing to it, in fact, that's my bread and butter. Between two siblings that are both writers and most of my friends who are writers as well, not one of them can say I never at once helped them along in their plot or character ideas.

A bit about yourself [Please limit to one medium sized paragraph]: Currently I'm a stay-at-home substitute mom for a family too busy to cook or clean, so I have plenty of time on my hands. I've always loved creating stories as well as interacting with people so this is a project I'm drawn to. I've got way too much flair for dramatics in talking to people and organizing my posts, especially for RP, because I'm also an artistic individual and I like to see color and design shaping the world I'm spending my time in. Aside from writing, Drawing is my biggest hobby though I'm way behind on all of my current projects because I also happen to be a rather big procrastinator. I also like video games and baking.

Experience: I helped out a lot with fundraising last year, and a lot with the Plot the year before. I even ran a fundraiser Three years in a row called Blue Forest. I also ran a nice Mini Event last year in January to help spread the word of the annual ball.
Skills: I'm a writer, I'm experienced in the process of working with the annual ball and running things as well. I'm also very good at the computer, and pretty good at making Gold on this site.
Past Positions from Balls: In the 6th Annual ball, I was the Host of the Ruins Room, In the 7th Annual Ball, I was the Host of the Dragon's Room, and Last year I was set to run the news room, but I had to step down due to personal reasons.

  Keep your applications coming! I said I'd start to fill slots this weekend, and I plan on starting the picking process tomorrow! So good luck all. And remember, even if you don't get picked there are still plenty of ways for you to help with the ball. Most committees are willing to take advice from non-committee members, or to add more slots to their committee later on in the ball.
The next thing we will be picking is Theme. I will be putting up a theme voting thread either Sunday or Monday, and it will run for one week.
After Theme, we can start picking who will run what room. I will open a thread much like the Committee Application thread, only this time for room hosts. ♥
