Axel greatfully took the medicine, sighing softly when it was down. "Do you have to work today..?" he asked Demyx softly as he kissed his forehead. He curled up on the couch and yawned as he watched Demyx move around the room.

Demyx shrugged a little. “I don’t have to have work if you don’t want me to. Technically I don’t have to be in today, the manager said I could take today off if I wanted, but if I was free to come in and help” Demyx said moving to the back of the couch and running his hands through Axel’s hair. “Do you want me to stay home?” Demyx asked sadly to Axel wondering if Axel wanted him to stay home and make him feel better. Demyx was in a particular loving mood, and Axel usually tried to make those moods last.

Axel looked up at him for a minute before nodding. "Dem...can we take a break from the 'toys' today..? It hasn't been just me and you in a long time..." He brought his hand up to Demyx's and held it gently. "I miss it..." He stared up into Demyx's eyes, sorrow filling his own.

“Sure baby, it can just be me and you today” Demyx said leaning down and kissing Axel softly on the lips. A smile formed on Demyx’s lips at Axel’s cute wants. He moved around the couch sitting down next to Axel wrapping his around Axel’s waist pulling him towards him easily. “Did you still want to take that nap, I won’t mind lying down with you for a while” Demyx offered gently in a really rare mood.

Axel smiled and nodded at Demyx's gentleness. He rested against Demyx's chest, closing his eyes comfortably. "Mmhmm. Let's take a nap. That sounds nice." He hugged Demyx gently, nuzzling against him. He honestly missed Demyx being like this. He missed it so much. This was how he used to be all the time. He slowly started to change into the darker side in their senior year of high school, though.

Demyx smiled warmly lying down on the couch wrapping his arms around Axel and holding him in his arms. Demyx didn’t purposely get mean. He was a natural happy person as a kid, but then his bi-polar symptoms started to show up around his senior year then he started to date Zexion who encouraged him to not seek help for his disease because Demyx already lived a life bound by the cage of pills and addiction. He didn’t need to take any more. Or that is what Zexion convinced him anyway. It was really funny though, normally Demyx was happy-go-lucky when he didn’t talk to Zexion that day. Normally Zexion called him in the morning, but today he forgot.

"I love it when you're like this..," Axel whispered to the blond. He cuddled up to him, yawning slightly. "...Hey, Dem..?" he began cautiously, then continued, "Are...Are we ever gonna stop this..? I mean...playing with toys? Just curious..."

Demyx shrugged a little at Axel. "I don't know, though I don't honestly see myself doing it forever. Just until I get bored of it. You know what I mean."Demyx said pulling the redhead closer and kissing his neck sweetly without even thinking. It was just natural for him to do that when he was close to someone like this, and Axel never seemed to mind.

Axel smiled a little then frowned slightly. "If...When we stop... Can it just be me and you..?" he asked softly, looking up at Demyx with hopeful eyes. "I-I'll break up with Marluxia, and you'll break up with Zexion... And it'll just be us..." He kissed Demyx's lips gently, his hands resting lightly on the blond's chest.

Demyx smiled kissing Axel lips before nodding. “Okay, after we are done with all this. It can just be me and you. Promise” Demyx said softly happily to Axel before kissing him on the lips again. Demyx even though he was a little messed up kept his promises. They meant a lot to him so he tried his hardship to stick with them. Demyx pulled Axel a little closer to him looking into his bright emerald eyes before finishing his statement. “You promise too right?” Demyx asked looking for reassurance that Axel really meant that he wanted to do this. He didn’t want to get to the end of the trail and find that Axel wasn’t there waiting.

Axel nodded with a wide smile. "I promise, too. And if I break my promise, I want you to just go ahead and kill me, okay? No questions asked. I don't care how, I just want you to kill me." He kissed Demyx's lips deeply. "Do you promise you'll do that for me if it happens?" He nuzzled into Demyx's neck comfortably. He would do this. If it meant keeping people safe, he would do this. If it meant releasing Roxas and Sora, he'd do anything.

Demyx nodded a little. “I promise, but I don’t think you’ll break your promise. I have more faith in you Axel” Demyx told him softly as he nuzzled into Axel’s warmth. “Axel, I don’t know what I would do without you… I would probably snap and just go on a kill spree just for fun if you weren’t here” Demyx said in a mumble as he started to grow tired. “Zexion probably wouldn’t even try and stop me either” Demyx added with a laugh.

"Zexion only stays with you for sex... I stay with you because I care about you... You know I could just as easily walk out that door every night like he does... But I stay with you because I care about you, and I want you to be good," Axel explained softly, petting Demyx's hair gently. "I don't want you to be a murderer. I want you to just...be mine..."

Demyx smiled a little kissing Axel on the lips. “Do you really mean it? You want me to be just yours.” Demyx asked wanting to see if Axel really meant what he was saying. “I mean you aren’t lying to me right?” Demyx said innocently as he looked into Axel’s emerald eyes praying he didn’t see lies behind those glassy pools.

Axel nodded, kissing him back. "I promise I'm not lying to you. I just want you all to myself... No one else." He looked deep into his eyes, meaning every word that passed his lips. He wanted Demyx to be his and only his...so the neko twins could go free without any more harm to them.
