Hell looked down at them out of the edge of one pale blue eye. I don't see why I should, you can hear and see me fine from up here, can't you, little mind reader? He sighed.

Pearl shrugged, Lets try the mind control one more time. Her eyes seemed to turn black this time, altering he eyes completely. She stared at his eyes. "Come down." She said, putting the force of mind control on the words, making it sound like her voice was hollow. "Now."

The eye covered by his patch felt warm---- one of them was trying to control him. His demon side rebelled, taking over his humanity. The markings glowed, a dark smoldering green, and his body writhed from the blood that burned through his veins, like lava. "Stop it," Hell growled, voice going into the pitches of a madman. He slammed his head into the tree, trying to keep the words that traced through his mind from forming what they wished; the code for unlocking his powers.

Pearl, using her inhuman speed, was up the tree in less than a second. "Make me."

Hell smirked. "It seems, no matter where you may dwell, an annoying t**t will always try to over take you, Hell." He ripped off the gloves that covered his pale hands. Like all demons from his namesake, he possessed the ability to produce fire. "Now you can quit provoking, or I can boil your little vampire brain, in the name of those who have died for my life because of your kind," he said, his smirk now a grimace as he rubbed his thumb against his index finger and a large burst of flame licked at the vampire's hair. "Your call, girlie."

Peeal jumped back, the fire barely touching her hair. "Wouldn't do that boy." She spat, her blue eyes returning. Her fangs grew, and she smiled, showing of the extent of her sharp teeth.

"I've got the same thing, angel." Hell said, showing his long fangs that were always there---- the same length as hers, but instead of those being the only sharp teeth, they were all sharp and pointed, like a feline's. He inhaled sharply, the air circling in his stomach and catching fire, filling him with smoke. "Your worst enemy is fire, your devil is god, and water is your poison. Do you really want to even try?"

Pearl stared at him, but seemed to relax a little. With one jump, she was right beside him again. Her feet hung of the tree, like she was completely relaxed beside him. "Whatever. I still think I could beat you." She smiled, her fangs just a little longer than before.

"Just remember," Hell said, with a small grin, as took out a bottle of flour (which he always had), tossed it in the air, and blew the fire he held in his throat at it. "I can make anything go boom." He said, as the bottle exploded with a loud bang---- a minor explosive, but a good trick for entertainment and scaring the crap out of people. "Even you."

Pearl laughed, "I have been around long enough." She twisted around to face him. "Exploding is probably one of the only ways you could kill me."

"I've killed demons, vampires, and Angels. You'd be just like the rest, if I weren't sworn to live for peace by this place." Hell cringed slightly at the memories of having almost died battling who else, his father, on the battle field and being left to die.

"An Angel gave me his life in order to let me see peace---- I will not allow this to become a battle field by my hands." Perhaps it was his human half, but he'd never been able to break an oath. He had too much pride, Hell supposed.
