Damn, that sucks, but i'm sure we can get through this. It will work out, it always does, every year. I'd be happy to help out with the hosting and all.
Here is my application for co-host!

How often are you on gaia: Unless under special circumstances, every day.
Previous experience in the ball: On an older account i helped organise by making some banners and stuff for the guild, but now i have the confidence and the means, i think i'm ready for a position such as this!
Why do you want to be a co-host: I like being useful. Seriously, banners don't really cut it. Even so, i can make those as well! I love to help out, so yeah. I love to format posts, and i'm a big literacy freak. Chat speak gives me seizures.
Why should you be chosen for a Co-Host Position: Well, i'm a writer and roleplayer so i'm good with plots and ideas. I get things done, and i pull my weight around, i don't to things half-assed. I'm on every day unless i happen to be busy, but even then i'll try my hardest to find some time.
In three words describe yourself: (This may seem silly but it will help later.): Crazy, Imaginitive, Obsessive.
Will you remain active in the planning process and during the time of the ball: Defninitely.

Okay, I know I've been horrible at posting or giving any signs that I'm alive, but I have been logging on everyday. I am definitely still here....just very busy.
Okay, but the problem really is: what happens now? We continue as planned, but I honestly don't know what should happen next. As far as co-hosts go, I think we need as much help as we can get, so...is approving all of them a bad idea? xD
....I hope they still want to be co-hosts. D:
But yeah, if anyone has any advice or pointers for me, I would be eager to listen. XD

Go for it Crystal! Accept everyone who applies! If they make signs that they are trying to make this room work, give them roles. If they kind of disappear, make them extras or something.
I'm interested to know what is going to happen with getting another host for this room. You need someone who knows what things need to be done, and who can be on enough to get them done. Maybe that issue will be addressed at the next meeting. It seems like everyone has gotten way too busy. xp

Yeah, my thoughts exactly! I took a look at the other rooms, and it seems like I really need to get another host, get the co-hosts confirmed, and get started on fundraisers...and later on, plot. Oh my. x_x

I would be more than happy to help you with your plot if you like. I have an English degree, and I have very strong writing skills. Of course, I only got graded on my paper writing; but, I have always had a knack for coming up with stories on the spur of the moment. biggrin

Blissy said that she would get it done over Thanksgiving break, but that's already passed. Smiting is fun. whee And, with all of these sins running loose, it wouldn't be hard to justify smiting a goodie goodie guest. rofl The only problem is how Sloth could smite someone. He's to tired and lazy to do anything. xp
