Alex runs over to lance, in hopes of grabbing him before the door fully opens and he's cast into the abyss, but to no avail. He's only seemingly 1 second away as he falls.

Lance falls into a dark chamber, everything is silent for a second as he gets up on his feet, but then a growling sound is heard. "...i guess this creature is the same as the one in the picture...." torches suddenly light and lance finds himself face to face with a dragon beast made entirely out of darkness. "crap....!" he shifts his weapon into dual pistols and starts to run.

Not thinking rationally, Alex flies down the hole ((No pun intended.)) , Weapon at the ready, already a spell being mumbled.

As lance is running, he attempts to fire bullets at the creature, but they only go through it, and it continues to gain speed onto him. "crap....!!!!!!! it's gonna catch me at this rate! " he runs into a dead end as he says this, cornered by the shadow dragon. "what do i do now....?"

George sighed and jumped down the hole after the bird he fell for a full 10 seconds before landing on his feet and running towards Lance he unsheathed his sword and sliced the dragon near its head "just my luck..."

The blade slices through the shadow, having no effect like lance's bullets. "d-damn.....whats powering it...?" he suddenly remembers something. "you cant have shadows with out light..." he starts blowing out the torches, and it seems to effect the shadow dragon a bit.

George looked over to Lance "sart move but i can make this easier.." he shifted his spear and lit it on fire he shoved it into the shadow making it dissappear completely

Smiles nervously. 'that works too...hm?" he notices a trinket on the ground and picks it up, it's a bracelet with the ingraving of a dragon. "this must be what was used to summon the dragon.... i'll hold onto this." Lance puts it on his arm, then he notices a key on the ground as well. "i guess it was guarding this key as well...' he picks it up and puts it in his pocket. 'methinks that will be useful." (note, i just ripped off hundreds of thousands of games's minibosses...XD)

((Alright to let you all know only fire can hurt these things. And the only black dragon you will face from now on is y characters ressurected father.))
Hiro had gone down with them looking to them he quickly said "We need to move deeper into the castle. You did not defeat the beast you only stopped an illusion." he looked around worriedly wondering where in the hell are they.

"well i think we may be inside of a tunnel of sorts i can tell by the way its built," he said "it seems to lead...this way." he pushed past the darkness and moments later his voice sounded froma mile away "found the exit!!!" he called

Hiro looked that way and grabbed the other man and started to carry him down the hallway til he met with George.

(i'll assume the "other man" would be me) Lance is startled at being suddenly carried, but makes no movement to stop him, besides, if he wandered off on his own again he might just make the same mistake with the trap door again.

George was standing next to a door "i cant get it open they blocked it with some sort of stone.." he thrus his spear into the door passing through the wood only to be blocked by a concrete slab "see?"

Lance thinks. "is there a keyhole on the door? maybe thats what this key is for....course, it could just be one of those lame keyhole-less doors...."

Smash was passing by the castle on a nightly stroll when he noticed the burned bones scattered around the castle. "Hmm...? Either a tornado ripped through here, or somethings wrong." Smash walked toward the entrance of the castle sneakily "What the hell? No guards?" Smash thought to himself. Smash went in the castle further and noticed a trapdoor. "Let's hope I don't die in this black pit..." Smash jumped down the vertical corridor and landed with a thump "Still nothing?" Smash was intrigued by this
