Hayden gulped and teleported back to his desk and tried to look busy with files. "Um.... thank you for the offer...... I just....... need to think about it."

Ghost nodded. "Take your time, I'm patient." He teleported out and then went to his room in the mansion. He walked to his table, where he had his drawing tools. He began to work on a piece. Well, not begin, exactly, but continue. He had been working on a beautiful piece of one of the other mutants, and he couldn't wait to finish it.

Hayden was feeling confused. He liked Ghost and yet...... the two couldn't get close..... If only Hayden could absord a power that allowed him to touch..... if only.........

Ghost was getting closer to finishing the drawing, and he smiled. He only needed to add a bit more color to it, but for that he needed to examine his subject. He went back to the library and grabbed a book, sitting down. He peered over it, looking at Hayden and hoping he didn't notice.

Hayden noticed but pretended not to very well. Hayden decided to walk up the spiralling staircase to the upper library to finish shelving the higher educational books.

Ghost silently followed Hayden, keeping an eye on him so he could get what he needed. "he is so elusive at times..."

Ghost smirked. "he's a good singer...I'm gonna join him." He stood, singing with Hayden.

Hayden stumbled back but continued singing. Soon they were standing close yet richard didn't mind....... neither did his skin prickle at the close proximity...... soon he realised their hands were touching yet....... Ghost was fine.......

Ghost smiled happily, his wish coming true sooner than ever. "Hayden...we're touching..." He felt his hair stand up on end and he smirked. This was wonderful.

Hayden stammered in supprise "But..... h-how....... The proffessor said....." Hayden was speechless...... could Hayden's feelings for Ghost disarm his deadly skin? Was positive emotion the off swich the whole time? Hayden burst out in half laughter half crying sounds.
