Looking up, he soon regretted even mentioning about building a path up with icicles. Though it was probably a lot more convenient than building a staircase, it was still tiring work.
"Y-yeah..." he panted, trying to catch his breath. "A break would be good."
He slumped down on the icicle he was balancing on, another long icicle held between his paws. He looked down, and gulped softly, as the drop down didn't seem so friendly. Boy was he ever glad he had his familiar. Although he already used up 2 out of 3 hovering abilities today, he could still float down gently with the help of the familiar, not needing hover. But... it would be a pain to climb back up.
Glancing over at Raine, he smiled, glad to have some company. Though he loved meeting other wishes, he often didn't run into many, and they certainly weren't as pretty as Raine...
He sighed as he continued to watch her, unaware of the grin growing on his face.

Raine watched Kori and saw a smile spread across his face. It was such an adorable smile, she could feel her face flushing again. He had such beautiful eyes and she noticed the way he smiled, with his upper lip a bit higher to the right. Raine bit her lip to stop herself from moving closer to him, but her heart was screaming for her to touch him again.
The faster we get to the top, the sooner they won't be in such a precarious spot. Raine turned around and her paw slipped ever so slightly on the icicle, sending a chill down her spine as a terrible reminder on how high they were. Suddenly all the warmth left her and all she wanted was to get to the top. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "Kori, pass me the other icicle. The sooner we get out of here, the better. I'm starting to get a really bad feeling..."

Realizing that she was watching him, he quickly turned away as his face flushed, pounding away at the ice wall with an icicle to get his mind off the situation. She... probably thought he was a total dork, staring at her like that.
Hearing her voice, Kori turned towards her, afraid she might rebuke him for before, when he noticed a worried expression on her face. Did... something frighten her?
"Ah, u-um, sure," he replied, slowly stretching his tail towards him, trying not to drop any of the icicles he carried up. He started to wish he hadn't suggested such a dumb idea in the first place, as it seemed to only tire the both of them out, but they were really close to the top...
"Y-yes, the sooner we're out, the better... I'm sorry that I didn't think of a better way back up..." He had to admit he was beginning to feel slightly restless, and only hoped that everything would be fine. Nothing bad would happen... right?
