Jessica looked up at him seductively. "Why dont you take a seat here today?" She said to him more commandingly than asking. She scooted over a little then waved a finger as a second year moved to pour her some pumpkin juice.

Matt sat down smoothly. "Well, I'm not in Slytherin. But if you insist." He looked at her handsomely, unsmiling. "You want me to pass along a message to Peter?" he guessed, remembering how she had broken up with Peter several times last year.

(( Forgive me if I'm not doing Peter perfectly... ))
Peter couldn't help but watch Jessica toy with her new guy. She would always be the one he loved, and facing how she didn't feel the same was heart wrenching. Determinedly, he looked away and tried to focus his attention on his friends. "So did you guys do anything fun over summer?" he grinned forcefully.
Summer happily dug into her food, thankful that she could start eating. She easily heard the chatter of kids catching up, and even more easily felt the glee of being among friends again. She had to stop herself from jumping into someone else's conversation, especially since she didn't know them that well and it would have been quite rude.

Kris ate her food while still watching for Leigh. She needed someone to talk to and she was bored without her. She looked around and saw a bunch of her other friends. Leigh seemed to have disappeared!

OOC: No, no, you're doing Peter fine. I was worried that I'd made him sound a little too bipolar. And since Angelina seems to not be getting online all that much, I'll take over Leigh so that Kris doesn't have to be all by her lonesome.
Leigh walked in shyly, despite the fact that Professor Sprout was guiding her inside. Her schedule had needed rearranging, and she hurried quickly to sit next to Kris. "Sorry," she said quietly.

"Finally," Kris exclaimed, "I thought you had gotten stuck on the train or fallen in the lake," She laughed before saying, "Just joking of course, I knew you'd be here," She took a drink of the pumpkin juice in front of her and looked around again.

Leigh smiled. "Sorry I took so long. Sprout wanted me to talk to her about my schedule. What's everybody doing?" she asked, picking up a goblet of pumpkin juice and sipping it almost primly.

"Don't know, your the first one to notice me," Kris stated, "But you know Jessica in Slytherin? Her new trophy is going to be Matt. I don't know him very well, but I've heard his name around the dorm a couple times last year.

Leigh dropped her pumpkin juice in surprise, and the orange liquid rolled out of it. She cleaned it up quickly with her wand. "O-oh. I thought she was still stuck on Peter," she said, trying to hide her evident disappointment.
