"I guess thats true..."
She followed his gaze out into the sky. She found herself wondering why she hadn't searched for shelter from the storm. It was most likely cause she wanted to get the trip over with. She glanced at the fox next to her. She found herself wondering what he was doing here as well.
"So.... why are you out here?" She raised an eyebrow. "I mean... you were just kinda sitting in a tree... i'm surprised you didn't go look for shelter when the storm came."

Shen yawned widely. "Nothin', just wandering. Anyway, case you haven't noticed, this tree is shelter." He glanced out of the corner of his eye at Techno. "I could ask the same thing of you. You come from a place where it doesn't rain often, or something, to not recognize the signs of a rainstorm?"
Shen honestly didn't get why Techno had come back rather than find shelter wherever she had been when the sky had opened up. It made him curious.

"Ooooo thats it!" Techno stood. "Listen you!" There was a little tint of pink on her cheeks as she blushed. "I know exactly what the signs of a rainstorm are!" Which was true... She had know one was coming she just didn't think it was going to be as bad as it had. "Un like you I'm not scared to travel through a simple storm! I just..." She looked away. "At the time it didn't seem as bad as it was and I thought I could cross without any trouble..." She swished her tail in annoyance. "And for your information that little tree of yours... isn't much of a shelter."

Shen just shrugged. "We're in a forest full of trees," he pointed out. "I chose one with the thickest foliage without being too tall. Maybe you don't mind getting pummeled by the elements, but I draw the line at being crisped by lightning." As if to underscore his words a brilliant streak of light went shooting across the sky. It had only just vanished when the air sounded as though it had exploded next to them.
Shen winced, ears ringing from the loud sound and still ringing slightly. He shook his head as though he could shake off the side effects from the concussive thunder, and hoped the storm didn't have too many more of those bolts stored away.

"Oh it's not that bad... sort of..." She blushed as she looked away comically to her side. What she had said didn't really make any sense what so ever. She was just about to say something else when the lightning hit and a huge crack sounded. "Eeeep!" She jumped hight with a squeal and suddenly buried her self as far as she could into the males side, her heard and ears pounding.

Shen turned his head to cast a somewhat incredulous (if also slightly bored; he always looked slightly bored) look down at Techno. "That was just thunder. We're not gonna die or anything," he said, tone as neutral as he was really capable of making it.
Overhead another bolt of lightning was let out across the sky. The thunder that followed was quite loud, though not nearly on the scale as that last deafening bolt. Shen hoped that meant the thunderstorm was starting to move off.
((When I picture his voice it sounds more like the English voice for Shikamaru lol.))

Techno looked up at him with a comical look. It wasn't her fault that she happened to be frightened of thunder. When she was little she had always had to deal with it on her own. Not that she was about to tell him that.
"I know that!" She said in a rather upset voice. "im not stupid or anything... I just..." She was cut off by another blast of thunder that made her jump again but this time instead of hiding against him she quickly placed her chin on the ground and covered her snout with her paws.

Shen found himself fighting two urges at this moment. The first was to laugh, and he was stepping on that urge as firmly as you would stomp on a cockroach. Women hated it when they thought you were laughing at them for a weakness, and always seemed to react definsively. In Shen's book it was annoying, and best left untouched.
The second urge was to put his own head in his paws. What was it with him finding such troublesome women with such odd little weaknesses? For that matter, what was it with him and finding these woman in the middle of thunderstorms?! Shen cast a short glare up at the cloudly and lightning-riddled sky. No wonder he preferred sunny days!
But rather than laugh or hide his face, Shen just let out a long, low, annoyed, gusty sigh. "Stupid, I wasn't going to call you an idiot just for having a phobia." There, maybe juuuust enough of a fight that it wasn't an arguement, but she wouldn't snap at him for coddling her either. Some women hated that worse than being laughted at...

Damn this stupid storm. It was the most annoying thing ever. Why did it have to happen to her? Why now? Ever since she was a kit these storms always seemed to scare her. Even when she was told nothing could hurt her she still reacted the same way. It ticked her off. She hated the fact she was scared of something so simple but it was just something she had to live with. What was worse was she had probably one of the most feminist males ever sitting next to her.
"Sure you weren't" She sat back up and glared at him. "And I suppose you weren't going to laugh at me ether?" Her raised an eyebrow. "Don't deny it. I can see it behind your face." She turned away. "You have to be one of the most annoying males I have ever met! Why do you seem to have problems with females? So what if I have Phobia? Oh let me guess, you don't have one. Well good for you."
She passed by him with a glare as she made her way over to a rather over turned log that was hollowed out. She then climbed into the log and lay down. It was better then sitting in the rain even if it was a little cramped.

Shen watched Techno walk off with a slightly bemused look on his face. "I wasn't making fun of you, and I'm not laughing," he half-muttered, though whether Techno could hear him scrunched up in that log of hers was a mystery. There had to be quite a racket inside, with the rain better against the hollowed out wood.
"And I don't have any phobias, but I can get scared just like anyone else." Shen turned and looked back out at the rain. Looked like the storm would be passing soon. Already the rain was starting to get lighter. It was still a storm, but not so intense now.

~ TIME SKIP~Techno unfortunately ended up spending the night inside the tight little log leaving the sad little male all alone outside. I'm sorry Shen! She will come around! Any way... the storm passed and Techno was lucky to get any sleep at all with the thunder and lightning. Today is a new day bringing with it the sun and beauty after the storm. Lets see what today holds for our two troublesome foxes. biggrin Techno sighed as she found herself waking to a rather uncomfortable situation. She was still tired no thanks to the storm and now she was sore and cramped up because she had decided to sleep in a log that was possibly too small for her. She closed her eyes as she tried to move back out of the log. She moved only a little before she stopped again. She opened her eyes with a rather surprised look on her face.
"Oh no... no, no, no..." She looked around the inside of the log. This couldn't be happening not now. She had nothing but bad luck after she left. "This can not be happening!" She struggled again but once again her efforts were no good. She stopped struggling and just sat there with a rather upset look on her face. If the male was still around he was probably amused by the whole situation considering part of her butt was sticking out of the log.

Shen had seen no reason to move from his spot just because there was a grumpy female kipping in a hollow log within calling distance. It was one of the best trees for staying dry that he'd found so far, and had a nice view to boot! He'd fallen asleep sometime in the middle of the night, watching the lightning.
Morning rose, and found the dark male still sleeping. Rather comically, truth be told, on his back with all four paws sticking up in the air and the most ridiculous pouting frown on his face, as though his dreams were not at all going to his liking.
Whatever his dreams held though, they didn't distract him enough for him to return to the land of waking. Even with the quiet thump thump noises Techno had started to make as she wiggled around.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" She growled as she moved around inside the log. How could this have happened?! "I do not need this right now!" All she wanted was shelter from the storm and now she was stuck with her back side hanging out of a log. She then blushed as she thought about the male. If he was still there no doubt he was getting a good laugh about it. She sighed as she placed her head on the botom of the tree. "Wait... if hes still out there maybe he could... Hey!" She called out to the male.

Shen made a grumbling moan and muttered something. The only word that could be made out with certainty was "troublesome". There might have been mention of techno-colored moose as well, but that would have been a speculated guess.
Whatever the mumble was, it wasn't a sign of his returning to the world of the awakened. If anything his paws curled closer to his body, looking like he was holding on hard to his unconscious state.
((Poor Techno XD *coughs* Ah. Not sure if they'll end up mates or not from this, but if they do then how's Shen gonna explain Ryl? Since we're going by timelines, and this RP was started before she was born, Shen and Techno would be technically mated by the time Ryl is born >_> ))

"Damn it!" Techno cursed as she wiggled around trying to get out. "Grrrr!" She swiped her claws at the log trying to see if she could get through the bark. That of course failed considering the log seemed to be thicker then she thought. Then there was that male outside who didn't seem to want to help at all... that or he was still sleeping.
"HEY!" She called again. "GET YOUR LAZY a** UP!" She tried to pull herself out of the log but that only made it worse considering she pulled so hard that the log came off the ground. The next thing she knew she was trying to balance on her back legs with the log up in the air.
"Wow... wow... ahhh!" The next thing she knew she went rolling down a small hill.
((ooc: the log is heading toward poor Shen XD))
