I think the hurricanes will get me before the snow does. XD And I live close to the Alabama/Georgia border well away from where Hurricanes themselves hit.

Tropical storms are a whole different story. ninja

We had a blizzard and a flood sometime in the 90s. XD Can't remember when the blizzard was.

There hasn't been much snow here since the 2004 blizzard.

We had a blizzard and a flood sometime in the 90s. XD Can't remember when the blizzard was.

I just think how the dam exploded in 1994 was totally awesome. o.o

Our floods happen because of RAIN.

We can have as much as much as 10 inches of water in a day and it's not a big deal... although there are still flood warnings.

One of the weirdest things about this area is the fact that we can have ANY natural disaster.

Earthquakes**
Floods*
Thunderstorms** (I mean nasty ones... the ones that kill)
Tornados
Tsunamis
Forest Fires
Droughts*
Blizzards*
Volcanic Eruptions
Mudslides**
And any others you can think of

* = happened at least once since 1995
** = happened at least 10 times since 1995
