Hi, I just joined, figured this is as good a place as any to start posting. I'm hoping to provide worthwhile thoughts here, but I'm not expecting much from myself, so neither should you guys. My name is Alexander, but you can call me what you like, ranging from Alex to Skandar to Lexxx t3h Secks. I'm 21, and though I should be farther along in my school, am still only on my second complete year at a JC. (<- read slacker) sweatdrop I don't have any clear direction in life, so while I joke with my girlfriend that I'm going to be the house-husband, it makes me uncomfortable to consider that as an actual outcome. My aspirations in life are too scattered to pen down here right now, but I know that I'd love to live as an great Renaissance artist/musician/philosopher and be sponsored to create works of thought and beauty for the rest of my life... >.> I like soccer, I value physical beauty as highly as intellectual beauty, I also love to read, doodle and point-and-click for hours on end. My musical tastes are based on an individual basis, with exceptions being rap/hip hop, and country and pop. Uh... I'm running out of things to talk about that wouldn't take too long to put down here. As a matter of fact, as my grammar decreases, it becomes more urgent that I stop talking....
p.s. am i the only guy here??? gonk i wonder if that's hawt or not... >.>
*more p.s. cuz i'm lame: if you'd be so kind as to balloon my self-esteem by clicking on the link in my sig and signing my guestbook with the small quiz at the bottom of the first page... >.> don't feel obligated to, but i'm a people-whore, i need signatures... crying

Awe, a people whore. So adorable. You're not the only male. I know, for sure, that there is Foxtrotfan. And he's of the male persusaion. I'm positive of it. I've known him for sometime and he appears to be male. Are there any other males? Anybody want to answer that? EDIT: Found another! Legundir AND Apocalyptic Meteor

Yay! Another boy. Yeah, we have some male members, but they've posted like twice.
"Lexx t3h Secks" ::laughs:: You're silly. I love your goal! But welcome, welcome!
Oh, and everyone else.....I don't know how often I'll be around for the next month or so....it's, well, cosplay season for me, and I spend a lot of time sewing. I'll try to be on as much as I can, but I don't know if I'll respond to everyone! gonk
Oo, hey...in art class I'm doing a reproduction of the Libyan Sybil by Michaelangelo. Nightlight's post reminded me of that.

Finds something he likes a lot and thing discards it, completely annoyed by it's lost glory. And I'm not sure about the other two...-shrugs-

Hello. My name is Suzie, nice to meet all of you.
I study at the cegep - between highschool and college. What else is there to say ? I have been writing too many intro posts lately and seem to be all out of ideas.
I hope to leave my current country preferably as soon as I finish college. This makes me very anxious, because I don't know how I can ever achieve this goal. I would like to live in Europe, where I was born.
Some interets of mines mostly revolve around art. I appreciate fruit and alcoholic beverages, as well as memorable moments with pleasurable company/connecting with people, even only for a brief moment, even if it may only be a one-sided illusion.
I am not pro-religion, and think that all should be laic. I am not right-winged, not conservative. I am not in favor of an elite living off of the people either. Violence and cruelty, torture, thoughts of racism, make me sad. Today's entertainment also.
I'll just stop here.

Yes! I wish to leave my country as well! But if you're aiming for Europe, you might need to find a job over there first if you're wanting to live there. My friend went to school in Europe and when she came home AFTER she'd finished they wouldn't let her come back to live unless she found a job first.

Where in Europe were you born? Apple juice is better than cidre. : ) I was born in Bucarest Romania, and lived a few years in Lausanne Switzerland before coming to Montreal Québec. By the way I think I messed up. Is college the same as university, like I thought ?

This is what makes me anxious, I know I need to find a job first. And everything is easier if you finish university in the country in which you wish to work. I really don't wanna stay in Quebec. Even the United States have more of my sympathy than the province in which I currently live. What was you friend's work field ? By the way, I only write/speak english on Gaia so I must make a lot pf grammar mistakes. I am sorry sweatdrop . But please correct me, I would really appreciate it.
