Makoto was not fazed at all. He just kept walkingtoeward him at about 5 paces away he stopped. He pulled out his wand and muttered, "Furnunculus"
((Note: the spell gives boils))

Jonathan's heart raced faster as he started seeing all of the boils grow on his arms but he kept a cool exterior, "Boils? Is that all you can do?" I hope that's all he'll do.

Julian walked between the guard and Jonathan. He stuffed a hand full of the mush into Jonathan's mouth and flashed the guard a charming smiling. Lifting Jonathan up he sat him down back to the table. "Not so bad eh? Should taste like licorice if I did the enchantment alright. I'm afraid I've been in here too long to do anything better then that." He looked away thoughtfully.

Jonathan nodded and said it a small voice, "thank you...I didn't think the guard would actaully curse me..burses I can handle just fine, curses are a different matter." He slowly ate the food making a disgusted face so the guard would suspect anything, "thanks mate, I love licorice."

Jonathan sighed in relief that the boils were now gone, maybe guards do have hearts.
