"Well, it does have rather large eyes," she agreed as she peered down at it again, one well-manicured eyebrow raised in a skeptical expression. It still looked awfully weird and... shiny. Not like Isabella shiny, but metal shiny. Like.. like chrome or something. Pokemon made out of metal were just weird.
"We have," she affirmed on the topic of meeting prior to this, and her half-lidded expression denoted a similar lack of enthusiasm for seeing him again.
The sudden appearance of some random girl and her Umbreon elicited an unsavory glance from Seraphine, and she not-so-subtly stepped to the side to put more space between them. "It's not mine, either." It seemed the girl came just to see the Aron - or her pokemon did - but either way she had.. had something smeared all over her pants. Flour? No, she smelled like fried dough. Probably powdered sugar then. But egh, wiping it on her pants? That was disgusting, and her expression obviously betrayed her feelings on this. Egh, no shame nor respect for clothing. She absently reached down to brush off that side of her dress as if some of it might've rubbed off on her just from thinking about it.
At Luke's comment of weird-looking pokemon, light green eyes regarded the Beldum on the grass dubiously. "They are," she agreed, and the pokemon turned his red eye up towards her. "Bel?" Ugh, why did she keep the thing again...? It couldn't even manage to hold a simple bag... oh? Now someone else was joining them, and he seemed to know Luke. She turned her head to look for the owner of the voice, and slender eyebrows rose when she spotted the blond. My my, he certainly was handsome...

Making a small noise of amusement at the others comments, not seeming to be bothered by them. It was true, there were some really strange pokemon in the world, being the overly accepting and painfully optimistic person she was, it wasn't exactly difficult to find something that she liked about each of them, if nothing else, than for their personality.
The same could be said for people to, Luke, in first impressions came off as very rough, and uninviting, and Seraphine, came off as snooty and selfish, but Rosie saw past that.
She blinked when they both said they had met one another before, noting the lack of enthusiasm, but not thinking to much of it. "Oh, i didn't know that, what a small city huh?" She added with a little chuckle. Looking over to the new girl when she came over, and picked up an Umbreon, asking about the Aron. "I'm not sure where its trainer is," She explained "its not any of ours."
Speaking of small cities, Rosie tilted her head when someone called Luke's name, trying to get his attention. instantly, the first thing Rosie noticed about this man was his clothes, and how they bore a striking resemblance to the style that Luke often wore. Oh my goodness! Was this man from the Grand Isle as well? Blinking a couple of times, Rosie glanced from Luke to this new man, tilting her head curiously, and waiting for Luke's response to see if this was a good, or bad thing.

Huh, well hello to you too, Luke thought with the mildest disdain. Sure, it wasn't as though they had become best friends or anything, but she didn't have to sound so completely unenthused about it. He obviously failed to notice the similar intonations that had accompanied his own voice.
And then he heard someone say his name, and he turned to search the crowd with an obvious confusion - who could be calling him when everyone he knew was right there? It didn't take more than a sweeping glance to pick out the culprit. "Wha-- Guy!" Well that was... surprising. Completely and totally surprising. It took Luke a moment to find any other reaction within himself. "What the heck are you doing here...?" Wrapping his head around the fact that Guy had shown up in Kodo, in Camphoreon, at the festival, right in front of him was hard enough. Thinking of a reason for him to be there was completely beyond Luke's ability at the moment.

Yep, that bewildered look definitely belonged to Luke, Guy thought humorously. He held up his hand and waved in greeting as he joined the group of trainers. Inwardly, Guy drew a huge sigh of relief. He wasn't sure what he would have done had it not been Luke, and he didn't know what he would do if he couldn't find Luke at all. That was of no concern, though, now that he had finally found his friend.
"Luke! It is you, then," Guy said with a smile on his face. The smile was quickly replaced by a concerned frown as he regarded Luke while resting his hand on the hilt of the sword at his hip. "I think a better question would be 'where have you been, Luke?' Do you know how long I've been looking for you?" His eyes closed as he crossed his arms. "Honestly. It's hard enough finding you back home, let alone finding you in such a big place as this! I can hardly find my own way around." Guy reached a hand behind his neck and rubbed it tiredly. What was he going to do with Luke...?
Suddenly remembering the other trainers, Guy turned his eyes towards them and smiled politely. "Oh, hello."

"Hmm I wonder whose it is then." she murmured more to her herself than anything.
Charlotte graciously ignored one of the fellow trainers unpleasant gaze. Charlotte subconsciously brushed at the sugar on her jeans but remained unfazed as the girl moved away. Instead, she looked curiously at the ownerless Aron. Poor little guy. "Hey sweety. Do you know where your owner is?" She asked the Aron kindly. Of course it couldn't actually reply to her in a way that she would likely understand but she always seemed to talk the pokemon around her.
A male voice rang out, and though Charlotte wasn't expecting to recognize the voice's owner she turned anyway. He seemed to have called out to one of the trainers in the circle. The red head turned as well, and so she assumed that he had been the recipient of the call, one by the name of Luke. The one approaching was identified by Luke as Guy. He didn't seem to be known by the others so Charlotte took the liberty of introducing herself to him to perhaps dissolve some of the awkwardness that had come from her arrival into the group of strangers.
She brushed back a long curled lock of hair that had fallen out of her dark ponytail and into her face. "Hello," she beamed at Guy. "I'm Charlotte."

Somewhere between addressing and being addressed by Guy, a grin had worked its way to Luke's own face. There was something kind of surreal about being sure he was on his own in Kodo and then suddenly running into his friend, but he wasn't about to question it.
The frown was responded to with a similar expression, though the younger boy's could have been more accurately defined as a pout. "I've been here," he said, his tone somewhat defiant as he crossed his arms. "Honestly I don't know why everyone was so crazy about keeping me at the estate. I left and I haven't burst into flames or anything, so."
He followed Guy's gaze, suddenly remember the other people. "Oh, this is Rosie, and," crap what was her name he had just heard it like ten seconds earlier, "Seraphine." Safe. "And, uhh..." Well, he didn't know who that other girl was, but it seemed she had the situation under control on her end. He was content to leave at that before remembering that none of the three would be familiar with the swordsman. Whoops. "Ah, and this is Guy." That was Guy. Guy was there. The very thought blew Luke's mind - repeatedly, even.

A heavy sigh came from Guy as he listened to his friend. Really, he could be such a child sometimes. "You know that they're all just concerned for your safety. Everyone has been so worried, and-" Before he could continue his chiding, he stopped himself, recalling that they were in public. He rolled his eyes. "...We'll talk about it later," he said before turning back to the others in the group.
Guy smiled at the girls that Luke had introduced in greeting. "Rosie and Seraphine, then. And Charlotte," he added, nodding towards the girl who had took the liberty to introduce herself. There were a lot of women around... Guy took a quick cursory look about the group. Come to think of it, besides him and Luke, everyone here was female. Guy placed his hand on his hips and chuckled, shooting a sidelong glance at Luke.
"All of these lovely girls about... You're getting to be quite the ladies' man, aren't you, Luke?" His laugh was jovial, but inwardly, Guy prayed that the three women would keep their distance from him. He didn't want to be scared - really he didn't - but... he couldn't help it.

Rosie watched in silence as the two males addressed one another, they certainly seemed to know one another, and it was a mixture of joy, and annoyance... or worry, yeah it was worry on guy's part.
From what Rosie knew of Luke, was that he was a run away from his home, where he was kept cooped up. And clearly this was someone Luke was close with, he had a sword, maybe this was Luke's instructor, or a guard? oohh, maybe even a knight, he looked very knightly in Rosie's opinion, and since she concluded that Luke was a runaway prince, this was probably one of Luke's knights.
Still... this brought a little concern to Rosie, was he here to take Luke back?
Regardless of that, Rosie smiled when she was introduced, shaking her blond bangs away from her face as she knelt in a small curtsey, it didn't look quite as right without one of her dresses on, but it was the Rosie way. "Its a pleasure to meet you Guy, you seem to know Luke well." Though at his teasing about Luke being around so many girls, just now realizing how that might look the case, Rosie waved a hand a little, a tad embarrassed "Oh, haa haa, no, that's not it."

Was that girl even trying to get the powdered sugar off? No, she wasn't. Ugh, at least she didn't try to shake Guy's hand. Her fingers were probably all gross and sticky with powdered sugar residue, and just... augh.
Sera inhaled deeply, slender eyebrows arching as she moved away from Charlotte, by this time completely ignoring the Aron, and moved to Guy's other side with what she hoped was a charming smile. Clearly his silent prayer was not heard by any deity as she sidled up next to him. "Seraphine," she affirmed in case he'd gotten confused between her and Rosie, though didn't offer her own hand because she was currently still holding the baby Absol in her arms. "Pleasure to meet you, Guy." Weird name, but whatever. And ha - Luke, a ladies' man? Please. Any man that wasn't interested in her was not a ladies' man. "That's a lovely sword you have there," or what she could see of it, at any rate, "do you know how to use it?" Come to think of it, swords weren't exactly commonplace in Camphoreon. It was interesting that he had one. Did Luke have one? ...why did it matter? He wasn't worth her time really anyway.
Mordecai watched his mistress move away, so he offered a few parting whirrs to the Aron before hovering and floating after her. Anastasia churred at the fellow Umbreon held in Charlotte's arms, then trotted over to sit by Sera's feet.

Concerned for his safety, concerned for his safety. He'd heard the same lecture whenever he'd asked to leave, sometimes whenever he complained about being kept on the grounds. "They sure aren't concerned about my sanity," he murmured in retort. Ideally they wouldn't talk about it later. Ideally Guy would just shrug it off. ...Yeah right.
"Wha-- No! There are just a lot of girls in Kodo!" he replied, slightly indignant even if the defense itself was rather shoddy. Really, though, how many men had he met since he had arrived? Two. Two men. It was ridiculous, really.
And then Seraphine moved to his side. "Wait, you probably shouldn't--" Ah, too late for that. This was bound to end poorly.

Guy chuckled at Rosie as she made her little curtsy. "Pleasure is all mine. And yeah, I guess you could say we're pretty good friends, Luke and I." He glanced back to Luke for a split-second, but his train of thought was abruptly cut short when he saw the girl Luke called Seraphine sidling up next to him. ...Very close to him. Too close to him. Too close!
"Auugh!" Guy's blue eyes widened and he cringed as he quickly took several steps away from the young woman. His breath quickened, and as he clutched at his chest with his hand, he could feel his heart pounding just as quickly. "Ah..." That was... scary. Trying to take deep, calming breaths, Guy glanced over to Seraphine apologetically. "S-sorry..."
Anonymes watched all of these proceedings with an odd mixture of curiosity and fright. Who were all of these strangers? Why were there so many humans and Pokemon here? And what was wrong with Master? The little Litwick floated back over to his human's shoulder with a look of worry on his face. "Lit..."

It was always quite the dilemma when it came to these carnivals. A small distance away from the funnel cake booth, a girl stood with her parasol and a white blob of some sort upon her head. As she stood there, she twirled the parasol one way, then the other. Funnel cake was super delicious, there was no denying it. It was something she could even share with Opal who was bobbing up and down upon her headscarf at the moment. However, funnel cake was absolutely messy. Even if she used a plastic fork and knife to eat it, she would no doubt get powdered sugar all over. And considering how dark her clothing was, it would just be a disaster. There were other toppings, but none ever truly felt right in comparison to the powdered sugar. Everything else made the cake itself get all soggy. "Ditto dit dit!" the Pokemon on her head seemed to hum out boredly. As other Pokemon passed by, it would wave her little gelatinous arms about and call out "DITTO!" in greeting. Nothing like keeping herself entertained by just merely saying hello to anybody and everybody who passed by!

Luke's interjection about not doing something was completely lost on Seraphine, but even if she'd heard him or knew what he was referring to she more than likely would've ignored him. Guy's reaction, however, was more than just a little completely and totally unexpected. She took a small step back and lifted Isabella up a few inches, holding her closer, while her pale green eyes blinked rapidly a few times as Guy jumped back and pretty much acted like he was about to be assaulted by a giant scary pokemon or something. She continued to watch him for a few moments, eyebrows arched in surprise before they sunk into a total glare at the blond-haired man. "What's your problem?" It was obvious from her tone and expression that she was more than just a little offended by his reaction. After all, she wasn't the one whose pants were covered in powdered sugar. Actually the girl's pants probably weren't that bad, but to Sera, even the smallest amount of something on an article of clothing that shouldn't be there was absolutely unacceptable.

"Hey." If Seraphine was offended by Guy's reaction, then Luke was offended by the tone she was taking with his friend, and his expression showed it. "Like I was trying to say," before she ignored him and went on with what she was doing anyway, "Guy's not good with women, so you shouldn't get so close." Well, 'not good with' was probably an understatement, seeing as how the man's reactions probably qualified as a legitimate phobia, but Seraphine could fill in the blanks herself.

Guy visibly flinched at Seraphine's harsh tone towards his reaction, and he looked away, searching for the right words to apologize with. "I... Uh..." He looked up in surprise when he heard Luke defending him. 'Not good with women' most certainly was an understatement, but Luke was just trying to help him, and that made Guy feel a lot better about the situation. He smiled gratefully at his friend, then stood up straight and faced towards Seraphine.
"I-I'm really sorry about that," he began, bowing his head apologetically. "Please, don't take it personally or anything. It's... It's just..." Guy trailed off, unsure as to how he could continue. How could he explain exactly why he was so deathly afraid of physical contact with women when he himself didn't even completely know?
