✁-------------Aeryn Tenebrus-------------
Just like a crow chasing the butterfly,
Dandelions lost in the summer sky.
When you and I were gettin' high as outer space,
I never thought you would slip away.
I guess I was just a little too late.

Aeryn woke up warm and felt softness surrounding him. He opened his eyes and saw the shadowed whiteness of Shino's wings. His head spun as he tried to remember what happened and when he recollected it correctly he sighed. Okay, well he had Shino's room set up. He sat up, still shirtless and saw his cello sitting in the corner, just begging to be played. He sat up slowly, making sure not to make any noises or sudden movements. It seemed that Shino was still exhausted and he figured he needed slepp and Aeryn needed to practice his cello before his performance, it had been a full day since he had played it. He took the beautiful ebony instrument from it's honeyed case and set about tuning it before he dove headfirst into a melody that was both haunting and yet loving. He knew every word to this Irish melody called "The Faerie Girl's Lament" and lost himself in the decrescendos and the mezzo pianos of the soft song.

Your words still serenade me,
Your lullabies won't let me sleep.
I've never heard such a haunting melody,
oh it's killing me.
You know I can barely breathe
