At first glance, Versailles is nothing out of the ordinary. He is a pleasant, cheerful cheetah who travels the Savannah looking for odd jobs. He loves to cause problems and then sit back and watch the chaos surround him. He occasionally works as an assassin- but prefers not to do too much 'dirty' work. As a child, his mother threw him away, believing his black fur and thirteen spots to be a bad omen. As an adult, he lives to prove her right. When Lua was a very young cub living in the Motoujamii, his mother was murdered. Although he's never been able to find out much about the incident, Lua left the lands with a goal: Protect who he could, and help others find closure to dark crimes.
Along the way he happened to meet a strange, somewhat sketchy male named Faine. Fearing that the strange male was a potential danger to the savannah, he suggested they travel together. It was only after a few months of traveling that Lua came to realize that Faine possessed a remarkable gift: the ability to feel guilt in others. Not only that, but the two young males shared a very similar goal.
Now, they fight crime do detective work around the savannah.
