Asuka her head."im only teasing." she lied.
A weird feeling came over her releif, releif that this man who saved her, fed her and helped her when shes hurt, she was releived that the person who stayed with him wasnt his mate.
With a yawn asuka layed down."That would be nice Im getting kinda sleepy, maybe its another side effect..."

"Nah... you just had a rough day. Here... Let me get that stuff for you." He went over to Sayre's side and flipped open the top of a chest. He pulled out a large pillow and a blanket and set it between his area and Sayre's. Then he walked back over to Asuka. "Let me help you over there. Something soft to lay on aught to help."

asuka smiled. "thank you... where will you sleep?" she asked innocently.
her tail swayed as she layed on the pillow. a smile sat on her face as she asked."It not that I care I just wanna make sure I'm not being a burden to you is all."
Asula didn't want to admit she was terrified to sleep alone but played it off.

He blinked at Asuka. "I was going to sleep on my spot but if it would make you feel better I can sleep closer." He really didn't mind, Asuka was cute. He smiled at her. "It's up to you." He sat down near her and waited for he decision.

asuka shook her head. "no you can sleep where you are... Ill be fine by myself..." dhe laughed and layed down her head and closed her eyes.

"If you insist." When Kaito thought Asuka was asleep he dragged over his pillow and curled up next to her. He wasn't really tired. So he stayed up and just watched the moon's beams dance on the underground lake. But after a while he hummed a song his leader sang at night. A song of protection, of love, of life. Before he knew it he himself was sound asleep.

Asuka rolled over in her sleep, and began to hum a song that was used by her mother as a lullaby. her paws and tail wrapped around Kaito as she pulled herself tighter."Dont let me go....please..." she muttered in her sleep her ears tilting back.

Blinking Kaito woke up, he looked over at the vixen who was clinging to him. He felt awful for the girl. She must have been through a lot that day. Nnn... He careful and securely curled around her. Now he couldn't sleep. He would make sure she was ok.

Asuka stirred in her sleep. now warm and comfortable. feeling anotheer body pressed against her made her face flush though...
The next morning
Asuka opened her eys to see Kaito curled up around her. however she didn't mind she licked him sweetly on the cheek and used her paw to nudge him.

"What was that for?" He blinked at her a rubbed his cheek where she licked him. It was no big deal, after all, he was gentlefox. "Did you sleep well? Are you hungry? How are you feeling?" He looked over Asuka, she seemed like she was healing well.

Asuka didnt say anything just shook her head and placed it on his chest."Im sorry for being so mean earlier...." she said licking his face again."you've been nothing but nice to me and Ive kept pushing you away, I shouldnt have done that..."

Has this girl gone mad? Kaito continued to blink at the girl. "It's ok." He looked over her. "I think that medicines effects are kicking in." He chuckled a bit, it wouldn't be the first time a girl was all over him. He pated her head. "You didn't answer my questions. I need to know how you are doing."

Asuka smiled."I feel great all the pain is gone thank you... and I am a little hungry" her voice had no anger in it anymore nor did it sound nervous.
"I think the medicines Kicking in too....Im starting to have a harder time keeping off you...." she purred licking his face again.

"Ahehe..." Kaito blushed slightly. Should he tell her now or later? Nah.. He'll wait it out a bit. "Let me go get you somthing." With that he carfully slide away from Asuka and out of his underground lair. He swiftly killed a desert deer and brought it back. "You go ahead and eat first. I'll have whatever is left."

Asuka nodded."Ok then" she looked down at the deer that Kaito had brought with him and began to eat. her ears perked back to keep them clean. she looked up."wouldnt you rather eat it with me?" she cocked her head cutely, the more she looked at him no the more the churning in her stomache quickened. it made her body feel so much at ease now, she didnt know why, however figured it was probably the medicine.
