Thats cool but what is it?
TACP stands for Tactical Air Control Party. They're part of Air Force's Special Operations and they wear black berets. They basically form a tactical air control party team that plans, requests, and directs air strikes against enemy targets. They usually work with in Army ground unite and directing close air support firepower toward enemy targets on the ground. TACPs basically live, train, and deploy with US Army units. When they're deployed, they're responsible for the coordination, de-confliction, and excecution of all USAF attack aircraft, etc. Very nice and very hard job to get into, the training itself is long and pretty hard.
