A couple of more leaves made it into her little collection, "Do you like it here?" She asked curiously it seemed right now she was taking a few lessons from her Sister and asking questions, endless questions. Always questions, at least for now. Asking questions is how you got to know someone after all.
The skitter didn't seem bothered by the lack of reaction and in fact sat there for a few moments getting a free ride before it got bored with just sitting there (the skitter had a short attention span) and then started crawling it's way up a pant leg of Shun's pants.

Shun didn't answer that question immediately. Did he? It was certainly different from being at home. There were a fair share of annoyances here, but over all... it didn't seem to be too bad.
"I suppose I do," he said quietly before suddenly jerking as he felt something crawling up his pants.
"Kusoo!" he hissed while getting up and trying to shake whatever decided to hide away in his pants out.

"I am glad," she replied sounding actually fairly sincere as she did. When she felt she had enough leaves she straightened up and took up her basket. She blinked lightly at Shun's sudden expletive, she knew what that meant!
The young Engraver furrowed her brow a bit as she watched him shake something out of his pant leg - or rather the shadow of him doing so.
Eventually the skitter fell out and tumbled across the ground with a soft 'whee!' sound. For whatever reason the skitter was having way too much fun at their expense! The small creatures straightened itself out and scampered into the leaves.
"I think this patch isn't as 'unowned' as I thought," Lattice said thoughtfully.

Spotting and hearing the skitter fall out, Shun's eyes narrowed for the moment. Cheeky little critter. Shaking his head, he crouched back down to gather up a few last leaves.
"Seems that way. Never thought to get trouble from a skitter of all things though," he grumbled lowly.
"You don't get lost so much anymore do you?" he asked somewhat suddenly. He was just thinking about that first day though.

Lattice smiled slightly, "Sometimes creatures just have their own ideas, I guess." Then again she wasn't the one being hassled by a little creature crawling up her leg. It was easier for her to see the amusement in it all.
She nodded a little as she held onto her basket, "Yes. I am doing a little better now, thank you for asking." Lattice still felt some shame for wandering into Mot's room by accident but she said nothing about it. "It is always hard at first, I figure..."

"Apparently," Shun grimaced. He soon paused in his leaf gathering as he wasn't really sure how much more he could conceivably take. Some of it, he carefully placed into his pockets, but he didn't want to end up crushing the leaves. When Lattice spoke up again, he glanced over at her.
"Takes a bit of getting used to I suppose," he nodded quietly as he stood up.
"In any case I think I have enough for now."

Lattice giggled slightly. At least Shun didn't seem too grumpy about it! That was always a good thing.
"It does," She shifted from one foot to the other as she started to wander out of the patch of tea leaves before she paused, "I do too...Would you like to walk back with me or would you prefer to make the trek back on your own?" If he had other errands to run that was no business of hers at the moment. She just wanted to get the leaves back to her room soon.

Shifting around the tea leaves so he had a better grasp on them, he glanced over at Lattice as she offered to walk back together. It really didn't matter all that much to him.
"Whatever," he shrugged. Even if he declined, they were walking in the same general direction anyway, "We're walking the same way so might as well I suppose."
Nodding, Shun just started to head on back.

Lattice chuckled slightly and nodded. Shun's demeanor didn't bother her in the slightest if anything it just simply something she accepted about him as a individual that she'd recently met, if they became friends or foes that would need another meeting or so. When he started to head back she walked along side him just in silence feeling no need to interject commentary or conversation.
When they arrived on school grounds she parted ways when they reached the gathering of dorms bowing slightly toward Shun, "Enjoy your tea leaves. Good bye," and then she wandered toward the ghost dorms without any further ceremony.

Shun was perfectly fine with walking back in silence. He was generally not a very talkative guy in the first place and he had nothing else to ask or say to Lattice on the way back. When they reached the dormitory area, he nodded to the girl, then walked off towards the Reaper dorms to store his leaves. They would need to be dried and whatnot first before he could really test out the tea they'd make.
