Talented He hadnt heard that word since they took him in the first place. He sincerely hoped she didnt belng to their ranks.
Ebon slinks at the word talented. If there was any way to tell he was afraid, you would see it. He rationalized in his mind...she couldnt be, she is much to beautiful to be. Ebon stops thinking and catches himself.
"Thankyou." he said not letting more than a second pass.
A minute of silence passes and a noise can be heard off in the distance.(the way we were traveling) A look of assuredness comes into Ebon's face.
"There was one more thought about that panther that i had, but i could be wrong. Somebody is hunting me, and im pretty sure that somebody is trying to trap me that way." He points in the direction of the noise. "And it sounds like he is getting closer, so i am going to go that way." He points back towards the bridge.
"I really wish you would come with me, but i understand if you won't."
Sadness and hope appears on his face, a bit of shame from not telling her to begin with can be seen as well.

Penny felt insecure and she didn't like it. She didn't say anything, instead she stood up and walked forward. Penny reached the young man, she put her left hand on his shoulder and shortly afterwards started walking towards the bridge.

"I'm srry but I cant put you in danger," Ebon said quietly to himself, "I can't allow myself to be close to anybody." A single tear drops from his eye and his clothes turn dark blue.
He quietly jumps into the river, his clothing quickly blending with the water. He is no longer visible.
"Thank you" can be heard in Pennies mind in Ebons voice.
But when she turns around, she sees a lonesome tear falling, but no stranger.

Awakens and gets up. Walking around he sees two figures in the distance. Having no other plan, he began to walk toward them...

Penny was breathless, this seemed to happen very often in the last 30 minutes. But this time sudden anger overcame her.
"Thank you??" She almost shouted.
"You should've stopped yourself earlier.. agh!" She was frustrated and wanting to be planets away from all trace of human souls. You should've realized.. she thought, Danger is not part of my worries.. Penny sat on the large rock and took her sunglasses off. Her self-destructive personality demanded energy from her in all ways.
She clenched her hands together and tried to calm down.

Ichigo was surprised as the fallen figure got up and started walkng away. She slowly got up and walked towards the spot of the figures she had seen earlier.

As penny clenched her hands in rage, the amulet that had been given to her began glowing brightly. It did not stay one color but seemed to change as a fire would. The colors of anger never stay the same, no pattern will ever capture them; but the necklace shows no pattern.
When the tear hits the ground it makes a clanking noise. a small object has seemed to take its place. A coin of sorts; a medallion with a symbol of some unknown person resides on it. The coin is no more than the size of a quarter, but the light from the sun is reflected from it and shines in penny's eyes.
(a few miles down river)As Ebon swam downriver, he noticed a storm in the distance. He would soon be in it. "Best to be out of the water," he thought. He jumped out from the river on the other side, far out of view of the bridge. He walks into the forest and wonders what awaits him, and if he will ever see such beauty again.
As soon as ichigo puts her foot down to start walking, a wagon can be heard rushing down the stone road upriver. Within 10 seconds it has caught up to her. A figure on the wagon, dressed in a black uniform littered with medals stands up and walks out. He has black hair and crystal blue eyes.
"Excuse me miss," he asks, but before waiting for acknowledgement he continues, "Have you seen a young man with dark hair and a blindfold. It has been reported that he was last seen around here."
The black wagon seems to be grand and meant for speed. but something seems off about it. What was unnoticeable before is clear now, as a set of yellow eyes open from its top and stare at you; There is a panther on top of the wagon.
The man in black is waiting for a response.

It still bothered her.. he left just like that.
She felt warmth in her left pocket but a sudden shine created a golden glow around her pupils and she looked away- a bit blinded by the light.
Penny looked back to the spot where a single tear had fallen and noticed a small medallion instead.
Without hesitating she reached out and picked it up, examinating the strange marking it had carved in. Weird enough to be of his makings.. She thought.
He can't allow himself to be close to anyone..? Im not so sure about that. stare
"hmph.." She sighed and laid back on the rock, holding the object.

Penny heard the wagon approaching but didn't take much notice of it.
What caught her attention were the intense eyes on top of it, the eyes of a panther. Her heart skipped a beat.
So this was it..

"He is a dangerous fugitive. The only thing that is keeping him from killing anybody is that bandanna. We need him back into prison for both his safety and the safety of others."
The officer not sure if what he had said had been convincing, so he continues.
"Not to mention that the surrounding villages would be deeply upset if he did not attone for his crimes. Perhaps you have heard of what he did. Have you heard of the Decay of Valest?"
There is sorrow in his tone and a sense of urgency.
