Leah lazily scanned the crowd of Hogwarts students, looking for something that would catch her eye. She was constantly on the lookout these days - ever since she had decided that this was the year. Yes, this year, Leah had decided that she and her friends would face the Marauders, 'Lords of Gryffindor'. Only they were one person short, and many wins down. That would change, though. Once she found a fourth.

James Potter sat easily on the bench, staring unashamedly at Lily Evans, the one for him. Or so he claimed. Unfortunetly, Lily herself hadn't quite come around yet. He nudged his best friends, Sirius, Peter, and Remus. "Gentlemen," He announced. "this is the year, we will rule the school." Remus nodded absentmindedly. He was reading again, and only half paying attention. Not that James expected anything less. Remus was the brainy one, and it was good that he stayed that way.

[Lolz, I love posting in bold!] Gwin stared at the celing, her eyes shifting with the stars, her eyes slightly misted over. Noticing that her sister's usual blabber had ceased, she muttered, "I swear, the celing is growing smaller." she shrugged, and turned to the rest of the Rogues, two others, to be exact. Gwin smiled at Nadia cheerfully, wishing she could say somthing about how nice the sky was, but found that she had a mind-blank. So, instead, she turned to her sister, leaning over her shoulder, braids swinging. "I refuse to have a midget first year in the group." Gwin, of course, knew that her sister was far wiser than to do that, but at least it would bring her out of her searching trance.

Sirius nudged James, and mused "You're going to bore a hole in to the poor girl's head if you continue to stare." He gave a barkish laugh and continued, glancing around conspiriatoriously (Crap, I can't spell!) "C'mon mate, live a little, Evans can't be the only one- She hardly lets you get, "Hi, Li-" before she cuts you off." Sighing, and finding that James wasen't even listening, still staring at the back of Lily Evans' head, Sirius looked to the celing. He had a bit of a puzzled look on his face. "I think the celing is shrinking!" he whispered in awe. Peter wheezed a bit of laughter, his nose twitching all the way. His eyes were wide, takeing in everything that went on. Somthing caught his eye, the Aspenwood sisters clustered together, looking around for their fourth. Peter's eyes widened, if that's even possible. He sqweaked, and nudged Sirius. "The girls, the girls!" he bounced in his seat, like a puppy eager for a bone. Sirius swung around, his dark hair cascading. "Indeed, there they are." he smiled feindishly at the two girls. He eyed the Rogues with anticipation. What were they planning?

(Here goes nothing) Nadia was excited. The three Rogues were all looking to find their fourth. She started bouncing in her seat with excitment; then stopped quickly. She didn't want to be caught being all bubbily, because that would just ruin her 'goth' image. Nadia put her elbow on the table and rested her chin in her hand. Trying to take her mind off the excitment, Nadia started to count the floor tiles. Then, getting bored at the 137th tile, she crossed her arms and layed them on the table. 'Can they Please just get the sorting done.' She thought to herself. Her stomach growled at her. Nadia placed an arm over it, trying muffle out the sound. She had been so excited that she had forgoten to eat breakfast that morning.

[0cc|| Okay, this is going to be fun! whee ]
Kailyn, Kailyn Tsaeda McConall to be exact, was feeling a bit out of place. No, really. A sixth year among the first years, she was quite a bit taller than all of them. "Excuse me, are you a teacher?" Shyly asked a small girl. Kailyn silently sighed, but gave a small smile. "No, that woman up there is." She replied politely, bending down by the girl and pointing out the person she knew to be Professor Mcgonagal. As the group walked into the Great Hall, she kept her head down, like she was sure any shy despie would do.
Severus Snape looked with curiousity at the tallest first year? No, that couldn't be right. The girl looked sixteen. What was she doing with all the first years? There wasn't anything on her robes that told him her house, and he hadn't ever seen her before.

James sighed. "No Sirius, I'm sure. She can't hate me forever! Can she?" He turned his attention to those up-start half-rate copycats (as he put it) that called themselves Rogues. Oh yes, they were planning something. not that that worried James....Oh, no. It was four against three, and they were stronger besides. Right?
---
"Of course not. But what about - " Leah stopped, staring at the girl admist the first years, obviously a fifth or sixth year. What was going on? She'd never seen her before. "Gwin, look at that!" She said, jerking her head in that direction. "Who do you suppose that is?"
---
Minerva Mcgonagal, professor at Hogwarts, and wise Animagus, came to the front of the room with the new students and turned to face them, setting out a stool with an old, ragged, wizard's hat down as she did so. "Abbott, Omri." She said clearly and loudly, this announcement causing the Great Hall to fall silent. And so the sorting went.....And next was "McConall, Kailyn."

Kailyn walked up, her head still down. She picked up the hat, and placed lightly on her head....Before Professor Mcgonagal pulled it down over her eyes. She got the strangest feeling....But then the voice spoke in her head.
Ah, not what you seem like. Kailyn realized that she couldn't hide anything from this hat, and glared at it mentaly. That's right. Now, seems to me like you belong in Slytherin. You could act as cold and emotionless as you liked in there, and no one would be the wiser.... Yes, that would work nicely! Kailyn thought triumphently. Then she wouldn't, as her father had hoped, have to make any real friends. The hat had been about to shout "Slyth-" But stopped. No, that would be too easy for you, wouldn't it. Hm...I think I'll put you in Gryffindor. Just because. What!? No! I want to go to Slytherin! Yes, I realize that. "GRYFFINDOR!"

Nadia wasn't excited any more. Instead she was now very bored, waiting for the food. She usually enjoyed the sorting but not today. Nadia was to hungry to notice anything. Not even the sorting, but she did clapp every time the hat yelled out the houses.

Severus had hoped that she would be sorted into Slytherin, so he was quite dissapointed when the Hat changed its mind. He was quite curious about this girl, though he didn't show it. Ah, well. If she went into Gryffindor, she probably wasn't worth his time.
Kailyn reluctantly walked to the Gryffindor table, admist the cheering. She sat down in an empty spot near a dark haired girl, and smiled shyly. It was now important, since that idiotic hat placed her in this probably despie filled, big-headed house, that she attract little or no attention. This would be hard, as the only transfer student, but that's how it had to be. Maybe if she acted deaf, or mute or something.....
[0cc|| Ralio, I'm sitting by you, I think.]
