Basket Choice: Eldest Basket
Certing Information: Name: (can be gender-neutral or gender differentiated) - If Female: Filenza - If Male: Firenzio Temper: One-word temper. (can be gender-neutral or gender differentiated) - If Female: Collected - If Male: Collected
Contest Entry: Gender chosen for Contest Entry: (You may chose to play out both genders for your chosen basket, but please fill out a copy of the rest of the form for each gender.)
Personality Description: Whether male or female, the foal will be a bit rambunctious, and like to be mischievous, liking to have fun and play around, and even occasionally cause some fun, light hearted trouble. At some point, this would cause the young foal to get in a bit over their head, and need some help and advice. This would be an altering experiance that would lead the foal to grow up as a mature Soq that seeks to share advice to others.
RP Entry: It was a quiet, calm day, and Firenzio was playing as normal in the wide open field. As his parents looked on, He, along with his other sibling would get more and more excited with a game of tag. They ran and ran as the sun started to lower in the sky. Suddenly the young stallion hear his mother call, "Firenzio!" Firenzio replied with a gruff "WHAT?" before looking around. Suddenly he realized... He was WAY to close to the river. He knew he was not allowed to be so close, but it was an honest mistake. He felt bad for the gruff answer, and he knew that he would be in trouble for it later. Suddenly, as he turned around to obey, he saw another foal minding their own business in the river. He turned enough to make his way back to his siblings, and enough to appease his mother, who had since turned her head away for a moment. Firenzio decided that this was a great time to take advantage of the situation. He galloped away from the others and decided to pounce and tackle the foal playing in the river. Galloping towards the river, Firenzio never looked back. He figure he'd give a good pounce and run off, staying clear of any trouble.
As he got closer to the river, he lept and landed squarely on the side of the foal. The foal landed with a thud, and everything was quiet. Firenxio started to leave, but felt that something was wrong. As he looked back, the foal started to cry. Firenxio went to see what was wrong and noticed something red coming from the foal head. Blood. Firenzio was scared. He knew he had done something wrong by disobeying his mothers orders, and he had hurt someone in the process. He needed to call for help, but he knew he'd get in even more trouble. After thinking for a few moments, Firenzio knew he had to do the right thing, so he began calling for help. In a matter of a few minutes, both his parents, as well as the parents of the foal ram over to aide.
After the foal was nursed back to his feat, Firenzio and his family walked back to their home, where Firenzio learned lessons about listening to his elders and knowing right from wrong, and once his punishment was served, his 'target' from the river became one of his best friends.
Future Plots: I see man possibilities with the family that could shape up nicely. As a huge fan of family RP, future plots could take us anywhere. I would love to see the foal grow into elder status. A baseline could be that they come from a troubled youth, maybe even injuring another unintentionally.

Basket Choice: Eldest
Certing Information: Name: Obsidian Amber Temper: Meddlesome
Contest Entry: prompt 2 Gender chosen for Contest Entry: male, though the personality will be the same regardless the gender
Personality Description: Obsidian Amber, or Sid for short, is a very happy sort. Like his mother, he is outgoing and energetic. Like his grandmother, he is insatiably curious. While he doesn't consider himself judgmental, he does have a firm idea of what things should be like, thanks to his upbringing. Because of this, whenever he comes across someone with a "bad" Home life, he tries to fix it. Of course, not everyone will appreciate him sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
RP Entry: Sid marched his way through the meadow, head raised high and pride bristling through his young body. He was going on an adventure! He had decided, roughly five seconds before he left, that today was a good day for branching off on his own and seeing what the world had to offer. The fact that his mother had been fussing over his other siblings and had presenting him with a rare opportunity to slip off unnoticed had absolutely nothing to do with it. He wasn’t running away, oh no. He was wandering off to find a grand adventure so he could make his siblings jealous with his bravery.
At least, that had been the plan when he left. However, almost an entire hour had passed and nothing interesting had happened. Sid was starting to get bored. This adventure was nothing like he had expected, and he was considering turning around and just going home to have some real fun when a shout split through the air.
“…stupid!” the mature male voice shouted.
“Don’t you dare call my daughter stupid!” an adult female voice snapped back.
Sid ducked down in the tall grass and inched forward until he reached the tree line and saw what he guessed was a family of four shouting at each other. There was a mother and father, and two foals who looked enough like the parents to be their children. In fact, it was the foals that made Sid think it was a family rather than just four strangers. They certainly looked like family even if they didn’t act like it.
Now, Sid knew that he got upset with his siblings sometimes, and frustrated with his parents, but it was lovingly. Even when he was arguing with his siblings, it was always good natured ribbing, and he knew when to back off before they got hurt. These four, though, were really ripping into each other.
Even for someone as young as Sid, who had never really seen any other families outside his own, he could tell that they were going in for the preverbal kill. He saw the mother flinch when the son said something cutting. The father snarled and actually lunged at the daughter, only to be brought up short by the mother blocking his path. That, of course, led to a very long stream of rather creative insults that had Sid’s ears turning red. The ones that he understood, anyway. The ones he didn’t, he tucked away to ask his grandmother about later.
Within moments, he got the gist of what was going on. It wasn’t that hard, the four were basically repeating the same facts over and over, only in different words and more angerly than the last time. It was rather silly, Sid thought. The daughter had lost some sort of precious momento of the father’s and the son was taking his side in the issue. This sort of thing seemed to happen lot, from what Sid gathered.
Didn’t this family realize that there was nothing more important than each other? Sid couldn’t imagine his quiet father ever getting angry over him for something so ridiculous. He also couldn’t imagine the same quiet father trying to attack him or his siblings. The entire family he was spying on seemed warped and angry. Maybe they didn’t know what a real family was like.
Yes, Sid nodded to himself. That had to be it! Clearly no one had ever told them the proper way to be a family. Well, that simply wouldn’t do! Someone needed to educate them! And, as Sid seemed to be the only one around, he realized that it would have to be him.
Having never been snapped at or attacked, Sid didn’t have the first clue just dangerous the situation was. He didn’t know that he was likely to have his nose bitten off for sticking it where it didn’t belong, just as it didn’t occur to him that this dysfunctional family might have deeper problems than he was seeing on the surface. Instead, the good hearted colt jumped out of the grass, startling the family into a moment of silence.
With a bright grin, he introduced himself and tried to fix their problems. At the end of the day, when he finally dragged himself home, he would appreciate his warm family all the more. He would allow his mother to lecture and fuss over him after his disappearance. He would promise never to do it again, and he would keep that promise. He would know that there are worse families out there, and that he hadn’t been able to help the one he’d found.
He also would keep going back to this same meadow in the hopes that the angry family would be there. Sid wouldn’t give up on them until he had fixed all their issues, and would never admit to himself or anyone else that some broken things simply couldn’t be fixed.
But all that would come later.
Future Plots: I am horrible at coming up with plots for rps. It has always been my belief that rp plots are joint efforts between the two owners of the pets. A plot should be something that is created when two soqs are in mind, and thus wrapped around those two personalities, not something with just the one character in mind with the hope that someone else might have a personality to match. But then I've always had an easier time letting my characters develop naturally through the course of the rp rather than trying to force a plot x.x I do love rp and the I depth twisted plotty ones are always my favorite, but they are also usually the ones that i come up with either with someone else or as the rp progresses... So... Yeah.... No good plot ideas sweatdrop

Basket Choice: Oldest
Certing Information: Name: - If Female: Confrindo (Harry Potter: blasting curse) - If Male: Fiendfyre (Harry Potter: Uncontrollable power fire takes the form of beast) (I chose these names from Harry Potter because I noticed that the grandfather’s name was Imperio which means I control in latin.) Temper: Brooding
Contest Entry: Gender chosen for Contest Entry: Male Personality Description: A darker colt, he’s brooding and a bit of black sheep. He hides his intentions under a brusque and sarcastic nature. But, he really does care, despite his inability to express himself.
He loves completely when he loves. His trust is hard earned, but once it is he will not fail, or doubt you, ever.
RP Entry: Open Prompt: Thought on family and connections. Fiendfyre awoke, his eyes glowing in the dim light of dawn like two fires smoldering. The world began to blaze with the coming of the sun, and his eyes were drawn to the smoldering embers of the world. For Fiendfyre, everything related to fire. He felt cold without its lure, without its closeness -- it was as though it gave him his life force.
The hearth is essential to family and home.
The young colt listened to the fire inside of himself as it began to rage and roar. Being with his family, nestled beside his brother and sister, was the same effect of having fire beside him. They warmed him, they kept him safe. A family of fire and ashes who often stoked the flames with their passion.
He laid his head down as he surveyed the world around him and contemplated what adventures the day might bring. Despite his not wanting to talk often, despite his act of indifference – he knew that he wanted all of his adventures to be with his family. They meant more to him than he knew how to say with his stilted and failing words.
Maybe one day, he would figure out how to tell them that his fire came from them. His passion, though sometimes misdirected, stems from him loving them even if he didn’t know how to show it. Maybe one day, he could overcome his inability to express himself to his family. He could only hope that they knew how much that he loved them.
Future Plots: Sorry I don’t have a lot of time to write this out. I have some great ideas in my mind but my internet is out and I have a very limited time of borrowing it. It won’t allow me to finish typing this in full like I want to. That coupled with the lack of sleep and the amount of worry that this day has been, hasn’t left me much time. My sister’s dog died last night of parvo, she’s not a puppy so she shouldn’t have even gotten it, but she did and she wasn’t sick very long. She got it from the neighbor’s dog we think, which is a can of worms that I’m not even going to open. My dog was throwing up this morning so we had to take her in to get her checked. Thank god it was negative and that she’s fine. I’m exhausted and weary eyed and getting this up is going to be a minor miracle in itself.
My basic idea is to try to make him open up more to learn to express himself. I don’t have time to detail it out right now; sorry I am good for plots and rp though! And I work very hard to try and communicate.
Thank you very much for this opportunity, I wish I had more time to do this entry the justice that it deserves.
