Ireland Weaver Ireland smiled at Uri and Adamina. He was glad someone would trust him. His military career made a lot of people distrust him. "Thank you. I will guard them better than my letters." He knew he would keep them safer. He always kept his word and protected documents better then governments. "If you want to borrow some of my letters, scrolls, and books. Just come on in and I will get it. So is this all of collection or is there more?"

Shaking her head, Adamina laughed lightly. "Thank you for the offer, I will keep that in mind. And no, this is not all of my collection. I have roughly the same amount in my office, double this in my home here, and there should be more on the way from my village." She stood and moved to her books, lightly dragging one finger across the spines, a small smile on her face as she realized now she had someone besides Uri and Dr. Mallory to talk with. It was a nice feeling.

Ireland Weaver Ireland was stunned about the number of books. "Incredible. You have your own library." He smiled at her. He was more than enjoying this. Being military he has a bad reputation of being an idiot jarhead. But he was having a great conversation with someone. "That is a lot of books. I have three forths of what is on this wall."

Adamina glanced at him out of the corner of her eye and nodded slightly. "I suppose I do have a library, of sorts. They are my passion, my children, if you will."

Ireland Weaver "I understand." Ireland stood up and looked at her. His letters felt like his children. "It's the best collection of works I've seen. And better organized then the library." He smiled at her. He understood what she was saying.

"Thank you." Adamina smiled and went back to her desk. Uri was still standing on the desk, feathered head tilted to one side as he eyed Ireland. Giving a small laugh, Adamina rolled her eyes at her companion.

Ireland Weaver "I speak the truth on this." He got up from looking at the books. He walked over to Adamina and Uri. "It's a beautiful collection." He smiled at her and Uri. "So what do you do for fun?"

Looking out the corner of her eye, Adamina froze for a moment. "Fun? What do you mean?" She could not understand the idea behind Ireland's question and she struggled to keep the emotion from her face. "I have Uri, and my books. And once classes begin I will have more than enough to occupy me."((OoC: Sorry I am being so slow! Astronomy class is kicking my butt. Also, nice avi!))

Ireland Weaver Ireland thought about for a bit. "I see. Uri and books." Work was good focus but they did get time off. He usually did the same depending upon the weather. "You don't go places? Uri might like some of villages." Everyone was different but he liked to travel. ((OoC: It's fine. Been busy. And thanks.))

Adamina looked at him for a few seconds in silence. "Uri is able to go where he pleases; he is my companion, not my pet." She pushed her hair behind her ears and gave Ireland a half smile.

Ireland Weaver Ireland nodded. "Yeah. But you just don't leave spontaneously. You and Uri." He understood companionship. Partners but with freedoms. "I understand for Uri. But don't you two leave as friends to places." He was trying hard not to offend her. He traveled with military buddies all the time. Their relationship made him wonder. (( OoC: sorry took so long. My dog just died so I haven't really felt like typing.))

She looked at him for a moment, her face blank. "No. My role in my village was to learn and become the next authority on elvish culture and literature as well as the other races my people traded and worked with. That left little time for traveling." Adamina turned and grabbed a feather duster from a drawer in her desk before immediately beginning to clean the already imaculate shelves holding her books. Ireland's probing questions were making her feel uncomfortable, and turning to her books in some way had always helped her regain her composure. "I am sure you have traveled extensively, considering your background."((OoC: I'm sorry. Take your time.))

Ireland Weaver Ireland nodded. He had seen the world. Both the good and the bad. Now he was doing more searching for ancestral items. "I have traveled both for military and personal reasons. That is how I learn the history. By the people who live there." Military wasn't fun. But when he did his own travel he lived like the people. He could speak a good amount of languages. But he only knew enough to get by. "My dad would lecture me on the best way to learn. 'Not by book Ireland. By the people. They know it best.' And it's still true today." He smiled and looked down. His father now seemed like a smart man. "Mabye next break you and Uri, if Uri wants to come, join me on a trip to Istanbul. I found memoirs from an a Turkish ancestor who hid books along with other items in the city." He thought the chance of books would peak an interest. ((OoC: Thank you. I will try to post as often as I can. I get annoyed at times if I'm waiting.))

This time, Adamina laughed, shaking her head as she continued to clean. "I believe I can easily argue your father's opinion on book learning, as I have gained much of my knowledge from books. I do not need to travel to learn a people's hopes and dreams and the way they view life. Literature tells a more honest story in those aspects than any person could." Admittedly, the idea of traveling did pique the elf's interest as it was something she had wanted to do for years, but she was an elf. Duty was highly instilled in her very being. "Istanbul...that is in the human realm, unless I am much mistaken? Uri would not be able to travel easily there."((OoC: I'll try to get on as often as I can then.))

Ireland Weaver Ireland nodded. "Yes. It is in the human realm." He smiled. He looked at her than at Uri. "Uri looks like a falcon. As long as Uri doesn't go through rebirth in front of people he should be fine." He knew many jobs. And Uri and Adamina could be a falconer team with how close they were. "Other than that I can get everything else. It wouldn't be to hard."
