Thank you for the invitation! I haven't had time to go over most of the aspects of this roleplay guild but I'm very impressed. Looking forward to seeing how things pan out!

Just so you know, I'm not overly fond of Guild Rps. I only joined another Rping guild because they bribed me with an Rp where I could bring back character that I only used once and who is my favorite character I've ever made, with absolutely no changes to his original profile. sweatdrop

I joined this one for two reasons. One, it reminds me of a fond memory with the way you set up classes and skill and abilities and etc. And, two, I see potential here.

I dunno what I'm going to do for a character yet. I'll have to read all the info before I feel comfortable even tackling the profile.

SO! A little about me, I guess. I've been roleplaying for about 8 years, right here on gaia. I consider myself Adv-Lit. I tend to write 3 or more paragraphs per post. I play games, mostly Eve Online and a few Fpses. Also, I have limitless creative potential, so feel free to use it. I love to plot, and I love to play villains of all kinds. So if you need a good, driving main villain for your Rp, look no further then this guy. :3

What about Fear Essences for unique Essences? As in, the power to use someone elses fears against them?

I've used it before and it usually works like this.

You can't use the power to directly kill someone. So if their fear is dying, then you can't just snap your fingers and make them die. Granted, a lot of people are afraid of dying, so you could use some other fear against.

My example is that, say, you encounter a person who has erected a barrier around themselves (Or is using one of the shields you can get from one of the other essences). Their fear would be that their shield will have no effect/that you will find a way around their barrier. So, using that fear, their shield will have no effect on any of your attacks/ you just walk right through their barrier.

Since it's set up with separate spells, it could start of like this.

A Fear:
Use someone elses fear against them (should be good for one use total EG if they use it for the shield, that shield power will have no effect for the entire battle)

Project a Fear Aura Around Yourself (AoE, makes people afraid of you. The closer you are to them, the more they fear)

Basically that's it. Hash out other abilities for it, but the two powers I listed are what I usually use, adapted for this Rp, of course.

SPACESensei's really the one that handles essences, so I'll definitely bring it up to him. Minor point though, but A skills are the highest ranked among their tracks. So you would start with C. And if you don't plan to use have higher ranks (more powerful fear skills), then it would just be "Fear", similar to Blood or such. Also I'm not sure what Sensei had in mind for "Unique" essences, but regardless of whether this was approved or not you would likely not be able to have it off the bat anyway as it's far too powerful to be a low level essence unfortunately.
