Jasmine looked at it all, and made her decision quickly.
She got off of Ironclaw, and looked to the metal bird, looking to the other two there as well, "Spaceis cramped as it is, come on back."
One quick recall later, and then as Claudandas had slunk his way up to her shoulders, falling quickly asleep there, it left Jasmine standing with Nightingale, hardly looking better than any of the patients here herself, she tried to be as respectful as possible, although she wished for a medical badge of her own she could have presented for identification, but there was little she could do but regret otherwise.
Forward she'd go, taking note of the hard work of the Pokémon, particularly the small Riolu, a strange tingling on the back of her head nagging for a moment, before she could finally stand before the nurse, crutch and assistant at her side.
"My name is Jasmine Sumisu."
"The Nurse Joy from the mainland, Professor Alison that is, sent me when we heard about the rumours about the illnesses."
"Can I help you and talk at the same time?"

"You're one of her students?" "You seem sane ...and you are obviously still alive."
The woman would declares swiftly ....as she would toss another wet compression cloth towards the Riolu as she came to the counter. She was swift to head back to help as the Nurse would push two of the sacks of liquid towards her ...on the poles. The needle hanging loose which meant that Jasmine would be inserting them.
She wasn't turning down any help.
"The name is Nurse Rachel Joy." "Thanks for the help, I can use it ...though I am surprise she has any surviving students ...they tend not to last long under her tutoring."
"Anyway, as you can see the problem is getting to be pretty dire, I am about to send in a request for more aid." "Though, I would like to get a better idea of the cause."
"So, she probably sent you here to help me as well as collect the materials for your nurse's item." "That's good, do she have you already picking up samples for her, because if not, I will assign you that duty myself."
The Nurse was talking while she went about her work as well. She was currently hooking up one pokemon to the fluid drip, while, shifting quickly to the next as she put a wet compression against the pokemon's head. Once, done she went straight to checking both pokemon's vitals.
They all looked like they haven't eatten in weeks, and their entire skeleton system could clearly be seen. They probably didn't have much time.

"If I said I'm currently her ONLY student, would that explain anything?"
Jasmine took the IVs pushed toward her, then suddenly found as she approached the Pink Rhydon in front of her that she was being pushed aside by Mightingale who would harrumph and then insert them.
After all, Jasmine didn't KNOW any basic medical treatment apart from bandaging...
Jasmine watched on however, and following Joy and the Happuny's example, worked the other IV in carefully, especially for a one armed girl.
"Yes, I got a live specimen so far, a Lickitung I caught near the shore, near delusional it tried to eat my Happiny."
"I still need a water and vegetation sample to take back... But you're right, I was also told to grab an absorb bulb and a pink apricot."
She looked at the situation there... Supplies on mind, she reached for her arm cast, fiddling, then removing the pokemart business card as she would hand it to the nurse.
"I have a friend on the mainland who isn't afraid to ship here. If you let him know what you need, and that I gave you this? He should help."
"I have a whole batch of fabrics too if yu need any spare for bandages or compresses... But does the transport system work that I could send my Lickitung back to Nurse Jo- I mean, Professor Alison on the mainland?"

"IT works fine ...you can send any pokemon you wish there, but it normally connects to your land via transmission signal on your pokeball."
"Techy."
She would call out loudly as a Golett would come from the back. A pokemon like that is said to be without the ability to grow tired or weary ....as the Golett would turn and go to the computer swiftly. A few quick taps, and he would nod only once to her.
Then disappear back into the back room.
"Everything is at the ready simply places the pokeball on the transfer machine. As for the items you will be searching for, a pink apricot tree can be found to the west of here, and the absorb bulb is more likely found in the grasslands to the east."
"Good luck on your hunt, and this ..."
She took the card so swiftly that it was almost hard for them to catch onto what she was doing.
"We indeed come in handling." "Thanks, so, you might as well get going ...if I get too use to help ...I won't let you go easily and you have other things that need tending."
"Thanks for getting them hooked up ...we can handle the fort from there."
She declares with a rather pleasant look on her face.

Jasmine would nod appropriately there, the card gone, and the Golett's work ready, she wasn't about to stand in Joy's way and argue, she was the Nurse in the room after all.
And she still had a lot to do herself, not only with these samples... But whether or not she had a chance to find out WHAT was causing this strange ailment...
"Alright."
"We'll take care of things as best we can, and if we have any news, we'll be sure to let you know straight away."
"Nightingale?" She would look to the Happiny, as both of them would head for the computer here, and she reached into her containment pack, then placed the ball in the waiting receptacle, before punching the button to dial contact.
"Professor Alison?"
"It's Jasmine, we reached Pink Island and we have the Pokémon specimen for you to see, can you receive?"

"Shoot it through, I am ready to receive it."
Her voice would come back through. Confirmation that everything was in working order as the Nurse Rachel Joy would move back to tending to her patiences. SHe was now done, and it was up to Jasmine to do what she needed next.
The pokeball in question would vanish then as it was sucked down a hole ....and with that it would be gone. Sent to Professor Allison whom would exclaim after a few moments.
"Got it, I will get back in contact with this Pokemon center with anything we find out from this guy. Please continued to pick up more samples."
Then it would click with the off. The woman had forgotten to say goodbye.

Two tasks down, four more to go.
Nightingale stood by, a little put off by the sudden break In communications, they hadn't even gotten a word in here, but at least they had managed to exchange any essential information...
Jasmine however, took a deep breath, she had given Racheal Joy her farewells already, she wouldn't distract her further in the middle of work...
For now, she needed contaminated plants, water, and the plants needed for the bulb and apricot...
For that, she would need to head into the residential district.
After all, she needed to stock up on supplies first...

Like it had been before, the place was quiet. There were no people walking about, no sounds of pokemon or children for that matter running the street. Nothing but silences on top of silences, as she would stroll the streets until the pokemart greets her.
Still there would be no sounds.

She would look at the sign, the only indication she was even on the right path here, she had no idea what to think, but it certainly framed the scale of this infection, and how far it had spread, if ear as well as sickness.
She looked at Nightingale. The Happiny had been suspiciously silent, looking around in all directions, it was Jasmine that spoke first, "Don't worry, we'll do our best to fix this."
"Let's head on in," she would encourage, as the pair went through the door, Jasmine holding it open for the Happiny.
"Hello?" She called in, trying to browse whatever wares would be available, "Anyone open for business?"

Though the door swung open, there would be no one to great them. Only a Houndoom tied up at the counter ...as his head went up and his ears and teeth back as he walks over to them. He was healthy without any sign of the sickness yet ...as he walks to where they were and sit down in front of her ...with the way that the store was made ...there was no ways to get around him.
His ears flat as his teeth shown in the darkness ...white in a black muzzle as he growls softly.
He was left behind to guard the supplies as they stood behind him, pokeballs and their likes, potions, but there was no more food or water here other than which was in his bowl.

Nightingale immediately pulled back, unsure how to react to the Houndoom there who now seemed to be readily there to prevent them from getting inside.
Jasmine however, looked at the scene inside the store, and the water and food positioned there for the Houndoom.
"..."
She looked to the Houndoom, and smiled, how pretty a smile she could make was up for interpretation with her face bandaged s it was, but she smiled anyway to the dark guard dig.
"You must have a lucky trainer who can trust you enough to watch over their wares while they're gone."
She reached slowly into her bag and hold out a bag, jangling it a familiar sound the Houndoom would no doubt have heard many times in its life here, money.
"I need to buy two pokéballs... I'm here to investigate the illness on the island, any help you could give me would be appreciated if I could leave you the money to buy in the store owner's absence?"
She waited, as it were, for any sign it would give in return...

The Houndoom would nod his head once ....as he got up from his place in the doorway ...not an invitation for her to come in. If she did, she would be punished ...as he would go to one of the shelves and with his feet press against the shelves as he would grab it in his jaws and return with them both.
Two pokeballs in his maw as he drops them ...at his own feet as he resume his stance from before, and look at Jasmine quite expectantly. He had play little attention to flatter, but the sound of gold sounded just right as he waited for the amount to be present to him.

She presented the 200 as the Houndoom came back, it was just lucky enough that Jasmine had been too busy counting the money to hobble inside, she would nod as she presented the amount in two neat stacks, one for each ball, pushed forward before she would take the two balls.
"Thank you again, I'm hoping this may be a big help later."
"I'll be back later, I hope best of luck to your store clerk that he is in good health for me then to see any TMs or items he has that may prove helpful."
She would tip her hat, she hadn't expected the Houndoom to toss her the balls for free, but it did go that she was just a little disappointed that he did not offer anything else to help in their quest, as she'd turn to head for the Gym...

The pokemon would curl protectively over the items ...as he moves to protect the gold until she left. Then he would move it to the back ..to where a man that looked to be eaten up by disease would move slowly from the back.
"You did good ....Nightshade."
It would seem that there was nothing else for it ....as the girl left them in the distance as she would approach the gym.
It was slowly starting to happen again, the reconstruction of a network of gyms for those whom had lost hope in the darkness to find it again. A challenge toward trainers ....a change in the time from the steady rule of Team Rocket back until the day gone past.
Yet, even with all the disease in place ...it would seem that this was one place still open for business.

Jasmine would walk up to the gym door, she had earlier noted it, and indeed wondered whether or not a leader would reside inside, she had no time to face challenges, but she did need to speak to whomever could be considered in charge here after all.
If she couldn't ask Joy many questions, she could try asking here instead as she would move inside to see what environment she had walked into...
