That definitely sounded interesting and like no place he had ever heard of. "So, you are not from Marsi..." He frowned, not able to remember proper name of the city.

"Marsilikos? No, not really." Much, much farther away actually. It would be difficult to explain in terms Émile would understand because he had not had much chance to get out and see things, being as young as he was. Even Leo himself had not done much traveling really- most D'Angeline's led somewhat sheltered lives. "Much farther away actually." He ran his fingers through his son's curls absently. "It's where I met Rio. It might take some getting used to. But you would like it, I think."

Rio shook his head in answer, though Leo answered for him as well. "You don't have to decide now. There's plenty of time." He scratched at his beard for a moment, thinking. "Do you remember the horse we arrived on? He's a very special horse - he doesn't even like to be called a horse, actually. Would you like to meet him?"

But it looked like a horse...? Émile got that curious look again as he tried to make sense of it, but he couldn't. "Sure." What other option was there if he was going to find out just what this not-a-horse was? Thankfully he was not bothered by Leo playing with his hair. He just leaned back against his father and yawned.

"It should probably wait until the morning though." It wasn't terribly late, but it was getting close to the times the fosterlings were usually ushered off to bed at. Besides, Émile was looking a bit tired already.

Caoin seemed like he would be a relatively gentle introduction to the wider scope of worlds and peoples - he still looked mostly like a horse, and horses were in general appealing to children. And probably a little easier to process than explaining gods straightaway.

"Morning would be perfect," Rio agreed, nodding.
