Kadryn had successfully sneaked into another tree without being hit... but in trying to hit the wide open Eanah, she almost lost her grip on the branch... wet paint certainly makes it hard to grab things. Her bag went wide as she quickly steadied herself. Deciding that bigger branches were safer, she crawled deeper into the tree.

Kadryn reached into her bag to grab another paint bag... but could find none. She was all out, which meant the game was up. Looking down at her color splotched self, she compared it the the cleaner form of Eahan below her. She laughed as she called downwards,
"Hey Eanah, I'm all out, and it looks like you've gotten more hits off than I did!"
Smiling, she jumped down next to Eanah.
"That was fun, but slightly irritating. I couldn't seem to hit you at all."She shook her head, "Guess I was right to choose the mace and not the bow for my weapon."
She held out her hand to Eanah, "Good game."

Eanah's empty eyes widened again as the Orderite dropped to the ground beside her. Out of the list of skills Eanah had decided she needed to master in order to beat girls like this in the future, climbing and dropping out of trees was the one thing she was certain she would never grasp. It was probably child's play if you had wings. Yes. That was the secret. Obviously.
She brought the hand that held her staff up to her chest, looking down at her ruined dress and shoes. She couldn't see a lot of the paint spatters that covered her all that clearly, but it was likely that Kadryn didn't know that. Had she herself been in a position to dictate the winner of this fight without her opponent knowing the full truth of the situation, she probably would have declared herself the winner whether it was true or not. That the other girl did not was interesting, to say the least.
"I am out of paint as well," she admitted. Eanah was proud that she had aimed well; archery wasn't the only offensive capability one needed accuracy for, after all. If she wanted to remain in one piece in the future, she would have to target attackers before they reached her.
The Oblivionite held out her free hand, shaking Kadryn's as if she was in the middle of a fancy party rather than a forest. She thought she might say something positive in return, but what came out was a bit more revealing than she had planned. "I could not do what you did. In the trees. It was very effective." She reclaimed her hand, suddenly embarrassed at admitting weakness. It wasn't going to end there, however.
"Do you know the way out of these trees? I was already lost when I found you, and I'm even more turned around now."

Kadryn stopped for a moment... Someone was asking her.. HER, the one who always got lost, for directions! So much responsibility... She could remember how to get home from the stream; that was easy, just follow it up to the lake then fly or swim over to the town.... But where had Eanah come from? Well, she's an oblivionite, so she probably came from that village on the shoreline that Kadryn used to catch rides to Ayr....Did they have ferry's to Soudol too? Interesting.. I'll have to go visit that place! But how to get from here to there... If this was the same stream that lead to the river that Kadryn always followed to the port...
"Umm... If I remember right, this stream flows into a large river that enters the sea just west of the port I use to catch rides to Ayr.... So you'd just have to follow the water than walk along the beach to the port." Kadryn thought for a moment and decided to warn Eanah, "Er, just so you know, I have a tendency to get lost... I once tried flying to Ayr and ended up at Eowyn.... So.. my directions could be suspect." She shrugged, "I could fly you there if you wanted. After all, I do need to strengthen myself for flying with heavy objects since I'm going to have to fly with a mace someday soon."

"Oh! I..." Not only did the paint-covered girl appear to have one of the poorest senses of direction Eanah had ever heard tell of, she was also offering to carry the Oblivionite somewhere, like a sack of grain or a newborn kitten. Eanah wasn't terribly tall, but she still had several inches on Kadryn and no desire to be clumsily hauled through the air, no matter how lost she was.
"Thank you... for the offer," she replied haltingly, "But I think I will just follow the river." Eanah nodded, then inclined her head at the other girl in farewell. "Perhaps we will come across each other again someday." She hesitated, not wanting to turn her back on an adversary, but eventually she shrugged and did so anyway, wading into the river and following it back to town.
