Corinne, smiling, dipped her head in modesty. 'I have Olivier to thank for them, for the name and for Lady herself,' she wrote, the slightest of sorrows creasing her brow. It didn't occur to her to think about whether or not she had yet explained Olivier or her relationship to him. It still seemed all too natural to consider him a permanent fixture in her life, and it was similarly all too easy to disregard the reality of the situation when discussing the influence he had had over her life.
Lady watched the outstretched hand when it was offered, tilting her head slightly. She wasn't so cutesy as to engage in the whole nuzzling business, but she wasn't adverse to contact if the unfamiliar human wanted it. Her tail wagged in small motions to indicate her overall compliance.

The former breeder smiled warmly down at Lady when she began to wag her tail, and stroked her head gently, making sure to scratch behind her ears as she'd heard canines tended to like that kind of thing.
As she did so, she raised her gaze to Corinne's words again. After reading them, she removed her hand from the Growlithe so she would be able to write, 'Who is Olivier?' If he was her father, surely she would say so and not call him by his first name? Was he a brother, perhaps?
