Axel read over the note once with a smile on his lips. "Your writing is very nice, Roxas. How'd you get to write so well?" he asked him softly. Then, at his words about Ansem's nonsensical rules, he frowned deeply. "What..? Of course art is expressive... It gets people through hard times, and it tells tales of beautiful times. It invokes emotion into the onlooker and artist. It shows great ideas and love and anger and joy and fury... It shows a wonderful land people can escape to if just for a little while... A hidden world only they know. It's brought on by emotion... Texture, colour, design... They all help some stay sane and drive others crazy... It shows a wonderful life or a horrible death..," he told him, passion in his voice and a light smile on his lips. "If I hadn't had art to help me through everything, there's no telling what sorts of insane I may be right now."

Roxas looked up at Axel's acid, green eyes when he mentioned his writing. "Oh, He taught me. He home-schooled me through the rest of my schooling.... I hated it so much... I begged Him not to make me go through college even though, He said He was sure that I would fly through an online college. I just hated the perfection needed, but you know right? You made it through the pressure of courses in high school." Roxas told Axel as his eyes grew a little distance thinking of the constant abuse he went through trying to pass. Roxas watched the redhead explaining art. "wow... that is deep, Axel. I was never taught anything like that about Art, just that it was bad for me." Roxas said softly thinking about the beautifully complex sphere that Axel described. "You'll have to bring me a piece of art so I can see for myself." Roxas asked happily.

Axel smiled at him. "I'll definitely bring you a piece of my art. I can show you some pictures I took of some of the things I've done that are on my phone if you want. I try to take a picture of everything I do." He pulled out his phone and began scrolling through all of his pictures. He wanted to show Roxas some of his favourites that he had done. "Here. This is one of my favourites," he told him, turning the phone so he could see.

The blonde's mouth open to say something as he saw the picture on the phone, but nothing came out. After a moment or two of just staring, he looked over at the redhead. "You really are amazing, I see why you when to college to pursue art... I really like the colors against the black and white.."He stated softly before looking over at Axel. "I would definitely like to see more when you come back. I bet it all is very impressive." He complimented before looking back down at his box. "Oh, Oh, you want to see my tablet. it was my present for my eighteen birthday. He told me it was an Amazon Kindle Fire, and He lets me have games and books and everything on it."Roxas said happily turning the device on.

The small blonde thought for a moment. "If I remember what internet is, then no. The tablet picks up wifi for the games and book shops, but other then that I don't get on the internet, I don't think. Of course, He picks what I am allow to download. If I want something, I have to ask Him for it." Roxas explained as he traded the tablet for the redhead's phone so he could look at the pictures. After looking over all four, he was just stunned with a smile on his face. It was like Axel had said. The picture invoked a deep emotion the in blonde.

"Ah, I see..," he said softly as he took it into his hands. He scrolled through the books on the tablet. "Wow, you sure do read a lot..," he said softly. He shifted through the games then and smiled. "We actually play some of the same games. Pocket Frogs, Angry Birds..." He looked up at him and noticed the smile on his lips. "Do you like them?" he asked curiously.

"Yeah, I like reading because it is one of the few things that He doesn't strictly discourage me doing." Roxas replied absent-minded like as he stared at the various pictures. "The art, yes! They are terrific, I think I am going to guess at each now. Okay, The first one is like an artist looking upon their own work. The second looks like a child and expresses curiosity. The third is anger, and the fourth is like a mental drowning or death." Roxas guessed strolling through each picture as he said his explanation.

Axel smiled and nodded. "Spot on, my friend," he told him happily, glad he could pick up on the emotion. He reached over and scrolled to the last one. "That one is the reason I'm still here right now," he confided in him, the same smile on his lips. "Instead of hurting myself, I pour it out in my paintings. It helps me stay sane to express everything through my art." He traded the electronics again, getting his phone again. "I'm glad you like them. I wish I could bring some paint or pencils here, but I'm guessing that's not allowed."

Roxas nodded in understanding looking deeper into the picture. "I remember when I use to be suicidal.... that was a bad time... sometimes I feel like I could still be... it is just this overwhelming darkness drowning your soul.... I think it upset Him to see me depressed. He use to get so mad at me for the things I did while I was depressed, but that was before he engaged me. Now I know He loves me." Roxas said trying to share his life with Axel to encourage Axel to share his own life with Roxas. The world Axel described was so different than the one that Ansem described. "Like I said before, He doesn't like me to be exposed to art, but you could always ask Him. There is no rule against art, He just never said yes to me." Roxas hopefully told Axel. He wanted Axel to bring his art here, he really did, but he knew that he couldn't ask Him.

"When I was suicidal, my friend Demyx always came over to check on me. He knew how bad it got sometimes, and he used to bring me ice cream and movies and video games. He would cook me full-fledged meals and make me feel better. He still visits sometimes, but not that much. He has a boyfriend now who he's probably gonna marry. He spends time with him instead, which I completely understand. I just kinda wished I had a girlfriend to spend time with so I wasn't so lonely..." He looked down at him and smiled softly. "But now I have you to keep me company, right?"

Roxas looked up into the emerald gleaming eyes as he said that Roxas would keep him company, before he looked away shyly. "Did you want me to keep you company like a girlfriend? I mean, I could.. sometimes He has me keep other company with some business partners... I could get use to being with you too." Roxas whispered softly feeling a burning starting to start along his cheeks. Axel was an attractive man, but honestly he thought that Axel was suppose to be just his friend before. Though he had never had a friend before, maybe they did do stuff together. He didn't know.

Axel laughed slightly. "Oh, no, no, no, Roxas. No, I'm just your friend. Most friends don't do that stuff. Some are friends with benefits, which means they just have sex all the time and aren't a couple. But I'm not gonna make you do any of that. Not unless you really wanted to," he told him, not even thinking of his words. Once he did, he quickly added, "I haven't even ever had sex with a man before, and I've never really had the desire to, anyway."

"Wait.. So does that mean you do want to have sex with me?... or you don't. I mean you are very sexy, I just didn't know you wanted something like that before, if you do that is." Roxas said softly slowly turning towards him and moving his hand to touch Axel's lightly. He didn't move to hold it though, he just seemed to trace his fingers slowly concentrating on that rather then making eye contact with those piercing acid eyes. The redhead's fingers were long, but they seemed to have a muscle behind them probably from all the art he did.

Axel's heart began to beat faster. He flushed a little at the soft touches on his fingers. "U-Um... I mean... I-I'm not gay or anything...a-and we're friends. It's up to you, really... Do you...want to have sex...with me?" he asked, breath beginning to randomly hitch. "I-I mean...I wouldn't mind it...at all... I just, um... I didn't want to...to take advantage of you or anything, and... um..." He swallowed some saliva thickly. Roxas just...he sounded so... so sexy right then... His body began trembling. Maybe...he could show Roxas how someone held someone they cared for...
