"That's the Greed I know!" she said with a smile on her face and leapt out of the bed and grabbed her backpack.

"That sounds cool," Maki said rushing to keep up with Greed's stride. "If you need help let me know."

"Tee hee," Maki said giggling. "A girl's favorite words... Go Crazy."

Maki started walking down an isle filled with what looked like health potions and began packing them in her backpack. Trading her low health potions with the high ones as she looked and a few antidote potions. She kept moving bottles left and right until she found a strange bottle.

"Hey Greed... what kind of potion is this?" she asked opening the top. As she whaffed a strange scent a strange man appeared behind her. "Take what you need, its all I can do to help others avenge my people. Ahhh Lord Greed."

He said bowing.

"I'm sorry sir, I hid my soul in my favorite potion bottle. You remember, the empty one I kept for a very special potion when I have found all the ingredients," Ren said. "A potion befitting my lordship."

The old man smiled as he pushed his tattered wings forward.

"My last breath was spent holding on to this bottle and sealing it when my soul has entered it," Ren frowned and turned towards Greed. "This city looks in one piece because as spirits we kept it the way we remembered it. Those who were able to hide their souls from Anima are probably still around. You just have to find the item they were holding last when they died during Anima's Oblivion attack."

Ren looked at Maki and back to Greed.

"As you wish my lord, but mind you. The forbidden spell doesn't always work and if it does it will only work on souls still lingering in this city. I can not be brought back once I've been released," Ren said with a smile. "But don't worry, if she is as good as you say she can inherit this shop in my absence."

With that Ren began to fade.

After packing her backpack she flipped through a few huge books in the back. "Master Sai would enjoy these more than I," she whispered to herself and then walked out of the store to meet with Greed.

She saw Greed sitting on the steps of the store next to the potion stop thinking.

"Greed. To be honest I think my master Sai would be the better potion maker, I'm still a student that hasn't mastered all the different recipes and aspects of a potion," she paused a bit not sure if Greed was listening. "He would love the store with all his heart. Perhaps after I learn from him and have found my purpose in life I will take over the shop from Sai. Is ... that okay?"

Maki smiled as she followed Greed to the Armory. As they walked towards the armory she looked around.

"I wonder how many spirits are actually here."

Maki sorted through a rack of swords and swung them in the air to test their weight and balance. After what seemed like hours she found one that matched the weight and balance of Kiljoy. It was a sword of fine craftsmanship and was thin enough as if it was meant for a female's touch.

She held it in front of her and traced the dragon designs in the blade up to the tip and the red glow pulsed as if it was a beating heart.

"Hmmm. Sai said Bahamut made two swords, he was only the second person to challenge him. I wonder if this was the first sword made from bahamut's scales," before she could slide it back into its sheath a dark shadow appearing on the floor before her alarmed her.

"It was a gift from Bahamut to a warrior that fullfilled his challenging quest," said a female who walked in front of her. "Only the worthy can claim it, if you call yourself worthy than let's step outside for a sword fight. If you defeat me then Maurda is yours."

Maki made a quick glance to Greed who stood there with a smile on his face.
