William shook his head as the door slammed and he continued to stroke Simba. "Simba...I want to help you but...I'm worried, you can't tell me to stop or that you don't want anything. But I can't leave you to suffer." He kissed his forehead softly closing his eyes as he held the boy close.

Simba whined and rubbed into William. "No? Mew...mew...no. Yes...?" He said softly. He rubbed against him. Tears in his eyes.

He felt much better and was now running around the room on all fours sniffing and exploring the room. He loved his human already.
William sighed as he laid on the bed watching the kid run around. He was honestly glad that he was feeling better but he was still felt a little guilty that the kid was in heat and he kinda felt like he had taken advantage of him. He sighed and rubbed his eyes under his glasses. He pulled his phone off the end table and held it up wondering if Alistair had called or texted. He sighed again as he put it down, still worried about his friend but more concerned about the little neko in his room.

Simba ran around exploring then jumped onto the bed and slid down. Wiggling his butt he then lunged and scrambled up and ran all over then climbed up to sit on William's gut. Looking at him. "William okay? Willam no okay." He said. Pawing at him worriedly.
William lifted his hand and stroked his hair. "I'm fine Simba." He said softly with a smile.

Simba looked at him. Smiling and licked his lips. "Re...almewwwwwww?" He said. Trying to say really. Pawing at William's face with his hands. Purring and rubbing into the strokings of his hair. Tail swishing. Nuzzling him. Looking at him with loving and adoring eyes
William sat up and settled the boy in his lap. "Yes I'm fine. Now let's get started on trying to get you to be more human when you are human." He reached into his nightstand and pulled out a book with a green over and gold writing. "What better way than with Brothers Grimm stories." He said with a smile. "When I was little my great uncle used to read me and Alistair these stories."

Simba looked at William curiously. Tilting his head together and purred. Smiling a bit as he was happy that William was okay. Nuzzling him a bit. "hummew?" He copied. His head tilted to the side and tail swished side to side curiously. Listening to him as he spoke. "Okay." he said
William opened the book up, the scent of old paper and leather wafted around them as he cuddled Simba close. "Near a great forest there lived a poor woodcutter and his wife, and his two children; the boy's name was Hansel and the girl's Grethel." He began reading softly, his head resting on Simbas.

Simba looked at him. Purring and listened. He didn't understand. The book reading started and he listened. Tilting his head side to side. He meowed happily. He listened still. "Mew...ore....mew...."
William paused as he looked down at Simba. "Hm...lets try something else." He shifted them and set the book away. He sat Simba infront of him and looked at him. "Simba, do you know who I am?" He asked pointing to himself.

Simba looked at him. Pawing the book as he was enjoying the story. He looked up at him cutely. Tail swishing a bit. "MEOWR!" He said. "Yes...William." He said with a grin. Tilting head to the side with faster swishings. He smiled. "My prrrrrson." he mewed out happily.
William chuckled. "That's right. I'm your person." He chuckled as he hugged Simba to him. "Don't worry, we'll get to the story in a minute. First I want to figure a few things out." He smiled and brushed some of Simba's hair out of his face. "Can you tell me anything about what happened to you?" He asked cupping his face in one hand gently.

Simba meowed and pawed the air with a hand. "YAY! MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!" he cried out. His one hand raised by his face and curled under. The other pawed the air. Hugging back curiously. Mimicking the motions. he then blinked. "Wha meameeeww?" He asked. "Wha....me...a.....n...." He said slowly.
William smiled as Simba tried to copy his motions. "Why did I find you in a box? Do you know where you came from?" He asked, really curious about what the kid knew
