It was done! Getting the valve shut through telekenesis and dropping the hose with glee and she clapped her hands free from the mess. Get out of there oh boy you bet she was. Focusing on her telepathic link, coordinating where Kae was and with a simple thought she teleported herself right next to Kae.
Right next to one, two... eight armed guards and a young girl who was bleeding from her leg. Welp, this was a wonderful sight to look at, immediately putting two and two together. Especially with the appearance of nearby bullet holes.
The worst part about this? The child looked similar to Alice. This had to be Melody... who had Alice's soul residing within her... who was bleeding out.

No, no, no. Focus Syth focus! Kae is here, no need to get worked up.
Yet even further away she caught a sight of Leukos being hauled away. Having only had a chance to catch him from a distance back at a ball awhile ago. Physically fine, but getting hauled off as a limp rag.
"Kae, you got six seconds before I turn this place into a meat locker" She tried to calmly explain, keeping her conversation with Kae private. Taking the chance to project a telekinetic shield around herself, in case they started opening fire on her. Her emotions were on the brink of surging and any aggressive action would lead her trying to recreate a scene straight out of Elfen Lied.

Kae whipped her head to look at Syth's sudden appearance, a jolt into a quickened heartbeat. "..S-sona... you shouldn't be walking around so silently sneaking up on people at times like this.." she commented aloud as she looked to make sure that the guards that had been leaving didn't just see her pop up out of nowhere. The coast was clear as everyone seemed to be preoccupied with other things, not paying attention, or leaving. Kae sighed internally with relief. Looking to Syth, she tried to keep a worried look off her face. Then looked down at the girl in her arms that was whimpering and sniffling to herself.
'Syth, subtly is key. Just had malice's running through here killing people. Everyone is on edge and trigger-happy. Just don't want you getting hurt too. As for her, she seems okay, just scared out of her wits. I think a bullet grazed her leg but it's not anything that can't be healed.'
Kae stayed around to make sure that the cleanup of everything was in order, reluctant to let go of Melody at first but then handed her over to Syth calmly but asked her to stay close just in case. No one was happy with what happened today. She could tell with the looks on the humans that passed. She just kept a stone face about it all, preparing the story in her mind that she'd have to explain and fill out mounds of paperwork for, just to bridge the gaps and make it seem less of a huge problem. She was worried about salvaging the moral of the facility. Were they just beyond reasoning now that they'd likely turn on Metas completely as well. As much as Kae wanted to fight for the beings she created, she was beginning to realize the folly in their existence, the scales of balanced tipped too far and now seeing the result was devastating.
After everything was as situated as it could get for now, she grabbed onto Syth's hand tightly, worry boiling just below the surface as she walked all the way back to her room with her with Melody in tow. Too scared to let Syth go, in fear that she'd lose her too. Syth wasn't always her favorite person, but she was the closest family member she had right now. When they returned to her room, she bandaged up Melody's leg. "I'll take her back to her room when she wakes up.... For now..." she paused, trying to think, "...I think of something to do about all this.."

Syth remained silent with malice in her eyes. Standing on edge in a room that had been otherwise rather calm in the short moment between Hexxis escaping and her arriving.
Subtly is key She repeated the thoughts inside her own head. Kae was right of course. Taking in a deep breath as she focused her attention towards Melody. Following along with Kae once her hand was given a tug. Nerves still on edge, but at least she wasn't turning her anger against the guards.
All she really wanted to do once she was in Kae's room was to grab Melody and hold onto her. Hugging her close against her chest, hand clutching the back of Melody's head. Maybe she'd have a chance to talk to her. Have a chance to reconnect.
"Promise me you'll tell me what's going on here. Why would guards shoot at Ali... uhm Melody and my grandson? Why are they even here?"

Kae frowned at Syth and sighed. "I don't have a lot of time to explain everything but the basics are Hexxis, has a malice that's extremely deadly. It's tried to kill Tri multiple times and just killed someone during the escape. Everyone here is on edge because a bunch of humans were massacred at the parley yesterday by metas. Pretty much the humans are scared and lashing out. It didn't help that ree came here trying to bust the kids out. They were running through the halls and assumed to be dangerous like the malice. Well, that's how melody was accidentally grazed by a bullet in the crossfire. Leukos and her both volunteered to be here. Melody wants to prove she's not like her father, and Leukos.. I think he wants to fight his father. I don't know what's up with that but he seems to really resent Lucian." she sighed once more as her phone was starting to blow up with messages and calls. "I have to tend to this disaster... So just stay here with Melody. Alert me somehow if they try to come for her or something." the Kae left the room.
Melody had, at some point fallen asleep, but was clenching tightly to Syth's clothes as she held her. Stirring a bit, she started mumbling. "...im sorry... im so sorry....." she spoke softly. She frowned a bit, her eyes still closed.

She listened intently on the situation report from Kae. Dangerous Malices (Something she hadn't heard of in a long, long, long time), Metas volunteering to be studied, a grandchildren trying to fight against her son. As soon as she was filled on the bare basics of the situation Kae was already off trying to attempt to clarify the story and try to make an attempt to clear things up with whoever was in charge.
Yet, along in the room with Melody she could only sigh. Holding Melody tight and enjoying the silence, though she did need to take a shower.
Yet she spoke. Mumbling under her breath, her eyes gazing down as she responded to the statement with a simple "Hm?"

She winced a bit but stayed curled up in Syth's arms, she sniffled a bit, "...i thought i could protect her... im sorry.." her voice was soft, a little mature for her age, opening her tear-filled eyes just a bit as she stared off toward the ground, her eyes red and purple now. "...it's my fault... it's all my fault...." she continued to mumble, eyes narrowing to almost a close. Her body instinctively curled up a bit tighter as she winced again at the pain in her leg. "I did not mean to hurt him... I was just.. scared."

"Hey hey hey," She started rocking the girl, doing her best to calm her down. Aaaaah she was terrible at this sort of thing, her children being the greatest examples of this. Granted, this was her grandchild... one of at least two she knew of. Fighting against her father and running off here.
So much like Momo.
"Calm down, its all over," She comforted as her eyes catched Melody's. Her eyes exactly like Alice's, almost uncanny in a way, "Can you tell me a little about yourself?" She hoped the question would take her mind off her pain.

Melody shifted but was calming down again as Syth rocked her. "I... I don't remember much.. Just glimpses of things... A lot of fighting, someone with a gold sword riding off on a horse, fairy wings, uhm.... a necklace.." she strained a bit as she spoke, trying to remember anything really. "I remember lake... a sad song... a lot of red.. and a soft voice..... I don't know.." her memory was a mess as she couldn't figure out what it was all about. "Add odd sense... of deja vu.... like I had forgotten a lot of things before... but I don't remember now.""

The things Melody was talking about didn't make a whole lot of sense. Someone with a gold sword riding on a horse. But it was working, she wasn't focusing on her pain at least.
"Its alright. I'm sure things will come back," She spoke, pondering if she was talking to Alice right now. Kae did mention that Alice was trapped inside, but how would she know?
"Tell me about the necklace," She decided to focus on one topic, "Maybe even about the person who rode off on a horse. Do you remember anything about him?"

She closed her eyes, trying to think for a bit, "The necklace... uhm... It looks like the moon... I think it was mine." she sighed, clutching Syth's clothing tighter with her hand. "The person... on the horse... I remember red eyes... and then tell me to stay where I was.... I remember being scared, but trusting... then darkness........ infinite darkness." Her face softened, as though she was falling asleep. "....my name.... it's.. it's kreimhilde..... i'm... i'm really tired... i'm sorry... syth." her voice had grown quiet as she spoke, trailing off here and there as she finally fell asleep in Syth's arms.
