“I’ll make sure it’s a month or less for healing.” He’d babysit the other if need be and keep René living with him, he wasn’t bothered by the idea at all, he was certain René’s neighbors wouldn’t have an issue with it once they learned he was without use of an arm due to it being broken. He was just staying with someone till it was healed - then he’d be home half the week.
He was glad the other had done what he’d needed to in order to return home, to return to him, René had acted when he needed to and he was handling it well enough so far. He was just worried he’d let it take hold of him later somehow. For now though his cousin's words were true and left him feeling a bit more confident in René powering up. “I’ll bring Katya to the shop and she can cover my signature, I’ll move things as needed. We just need to do it before the shop opens.” So no one could come by and see a General wandering about the shop moving various pieces of furniture about. His finger, as he spoke, was pointed to René. “And the heat will be on because we’ll both need it. You can direct me on moving things, read, and order food for us. You can handle the business end of things and I’ll help as needed.”
This was, as he’d said outside, something they’d both be working on together. This was part of the relationship…handling things like this together and solving problems as they came. He was hoping René would get the message, would know this was a part of what he’d said outside. “Lorcan, medication for pain? Anything from the pharmacy or over the counter that we can pick up?” Assuming there would be some need for pain medication as he looked over René for a moment before his attention was back onto his cousin.

Nodding a bit, he pulled his pad from his pocket and wrote something down. “Sounds like you have it worked out. He’ll be fine with just normal pain medications but to be nice I wrote this out for a short run of something a bit stronger to help with the adjustment. Do be careful though, they may have a bit more kick than he’s used to.” Sometimes things were formulated differently between countries and this could very much be the case with pain medications.
Offering the paper to Alexandre, he double-checked the brace before wrapping it around René’s wrist and working through the adjustments. Tightening it in some places and loosening it in others, he worked carefully as he went. Leaning back up he felt good about the fit. “It shouldn’t feel terribly uncomfortable but if it hurts, as in pain-wise, let me know and I can adjust it a bit more.”

Sitting there as they worked on his wrist, René grimaced during some of the adjustments until things settled down to a low throb. Honestly, he was a bit excited to spend more time with Katya, after he apologized for going out without her of course. He really liked her company, especially when she’d come to spend time in his shop during the weeknights. “Sounds good, I don’t mind getting there a bit earlier and getting the heat turned up a bit.”
It sounded nice, having them to help and not just because he was injured. He wanted help with things, needed it to be honest because it was hard doing everything himself. Even if he knew what he was doing and how to run things, it was a lot of work for one person. It also helped that the customers loved Alexandre and would spend more time there looking around and chatting which meant they were more likely to buy things.
Pulling his wrist up, he held it close to his chest as most of the pain evened out. “It feels alright, achy but not as sharp as before. Thanks.” If anything that tiredness was settling in now that everything was calmed down and managed. “That means we can go now, right?” Looking over towards Alexandre for help getting his shirt back on over the brace.

“I can at times be useful and actually manage to think like an adult Lorcan.” Rolling his eyes as he joked with his cousin, laughing as he spoke. “I’m not just some pretty blond.” Fluttering his lashes at his taller cousin before turning to René and smiling even more. “Right? I can take care of you and get you all healed up.” Because he’d make sure René eased up on things so he could heal properly. That said he took the slip of paper from his cousin.
“My name?” He questioned, glancing over the written script. “Ok, I get it.” It took a moment but he knew why the other had done it. Moving over to René he took the other's shirt and started to gently help the other into the garment. “Yes, it means we can go. We’ll drop by the pharmacy, maybe shaved ice, and then home and to bed with you…after a shower.” Because he was going to make sure the other rested and was taken care of.
“Lorcan, thank you. You have no idea how much this all means.” Because he was certain his cousin didn’t know, even if he likely did. “Get some rest and I’ll drop by soon for a chess match so you can defeat me as usual.”

Running his hand through his hair, slicking it back, Loran sighed at Alexandre. “Could have fooled me but I digress, you can head out and I’ll lock up after I clean and get everything set up for work in the morning.” It wouldn’t take long but it meant less sleep than usual, something he was getting used to since joining the Negaverse.
“Maybe this weekend, you can bring him along if you’d like, or Katya.” He preferred the mauvian at times, at least they had more common sense.

A smile spread across his face at the comment because he really did love that pretty blond and he was certain they would take care of him, maybe even much the same as they had in winter. “Of course you can take care of me, it isn’t even the first time you’ve done it.” At this point, he’d lost track of the things they’d helped him with but it didn’t really matter.

“I think you know this means a lot Lorcan.” Shaking his head he smiled. “I’ll bring them both, you can play me and maybe Katya will manage to play as well.” Since he was fairly certain his mauvian could play as well, though he did at times now think of her as the family mauvian. Looking over to René he nodded his head.” Let’s go, I have a feeling this’ll be a long night.” And he was still planning on bingsu before they went home. He’d figure out a gift basket for his cousin…maybe even give him some sort of plant that wouldn’t go draining energy from people….an orchid maybe. It wouldn’t need a lot of care. It seemed like one he might like and could handle…or a venus fly trap since it ate bugs….that might be up his cousin's alley.
