There were so many fantastic entries last round – I’m truly honored Olivia was chosen!
I’ve grown a bit attached to her, so I decided to keep her story going for round 3.

My entry turned out so different from what I had envisioned. (in terms of writing)
Up until 1-2 hours ago, I still wanted to adopt Fargo's disclaimer and do a "At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed. Out of respect for the dead, the rest has been told exactly as it occurred." kind of intro but as it turns out, I don't have that in me to do this style of writing (not for lack of trying) sweatdrop
Also hesitated for a looong time this week because I couldn't decide what I wanted to work on. I'm so glad to be done with the entry!!

@ the Judges: Thank you for the wonderful feedback, as always! It helps to push me a little more each time.
Now that the last challenge is over, I can admit- that background was the hardest to work with. It covered any and all extras stressed

I had so much fun with this week's challenge! Possibly my favorite one yet?
We even held a family movie night so I could review it – "for research".
The minute I post "complete" I find myself pulling a Columbo and saying: "Just one more thing...". HA. Yet, I think I'm finally done and I'm going to try to give myself the grace to walk away, breathe, and quit obsessing over every detail. sweatdrop
I'm delighted to see some familiar characters popping up! I can't wait to see what y'all do! 🍿🍿🍿

I'm curious, do y'all typically use "dark mode" or "light mode" when creating/viewing entries?
I tend to keep it in "dark mode," but I've developed the habit of viewing it both ways just in case to see how it's going to look, and how other entries look. It's made me wonder, how does everyone else tend to see it?

I'm usually in dark mode, but I write up my entries using the journal function on Gaia which usually shows me what it would like like in light mode. lucifer eats pizza I only view anything on dark mode. My poor eyes get blasted to oblivion by light mode anything. I feel this. And I'm often using Gaia on my phone and I try to keep it very dim. nenone I'm usually in dark mode, but I write up my entries using the journal function on Gaia which usually shows me what it would look like in light mode. Kind of seemed like the best compromise, because I already go overboard overthinking/editing sweatdrop I do this, too – both writing up entries in journals AND going overboard overthinking/editing xd

It's a good idea imo to check out how the entry looks on both modes, I've definitely not thought of this in the past, I keep forgetting that dark mode exists on here XD

It's a good idea imo to check out how the entry looks on both modes, I've definitely not thought of this in the past, I keep forgetting that dark mode exists on here XD I highly recommend using night mode at least at night or if you use Gaia on a tablet or cell phone. Your eyes and circadian rhythm will thank you! I really appreciate how simple they made it to toggle between modes with the switch in the menu bar. heart
