((Looks like Yak has been to busy to grow her still.. *shrugs* But yeah, it is kinda funny... ))
Lilac laughed and scrambled up onto Nala's back, mindful to keep her claws sheathed and trying not to ruffle the pale blue feathers of her new friend's wings. She could tell her mother was still talking to the new cub, and wondered if everything was alright. "Ready to go Nala!"
"You humbly ask to join?" She said with a smile.
Illitashia eyed the young cub, and then her feathered friend, and wondered why her mother would leave her all alone when she was obviously not yet able to take care of herself. And while she wasn't sure that Mookie would fit in with the Pride, she couldn't turn the little cub away. "Well Mookie, lets see if we can find you something to eat and a place to rese then, hmmm?"
Talcorin watched Illitashia speak to the young kit and grinned, standing as he caught the scent of Prince Ferrian. The Heir to Cyan Serenity was nearby, and probably wanted to talk. With a shake of his mane the King stood, and trotted toward the river where he could talk to his ally.

Mookie nodded quickly at the mention of food before putting a paw over her face in embarassment. "I'd like that..." The young kit bounced over to Illitashia and stared up at the lioness. Her brown eyes stood out against the cool purple across her face, worry apparent. "... Can Star come? He's my best friend."
Starshine met eyes with the Queen of the pride and gestured that he had more to explain to her. He bowed to the female and smiled. "I would be honored to watch over her and all other cubs if you allow me to stay, Milady."

Watching the kit leap around Illitashia laughed softly. Seeing her worry she glanced at the bird and seemed to consider him a moment. At his words she cocked her head slightly.
Illitashia shook her head. "A Familiar's Duty is to protect and Guide his or her charge.. So you must Guide Mookie, always, and you are more than welcome to stay as well..."
She smiled at the cub. "Come.. There is some zebra left over from our last hunt earlier today..."

The young cub giggled happily and ran her cheek against Illitashia's leg, purring. Her smile was bright as she nodded to the lioness. "Food sounds very good... " It seemed the kit was a bit depressed behind the happiness; wondering why she was abandoned as well. Maybe her mother would still come back for her! "Star! Do you want some Zebra?"
The bird snapped out of his dwellings on the 'familiar' comment and grimaced. "I'm not exactly a meat eater, dear." He sighed and spread his wings, hovering near Illitashia. "I fear for the fact that her mother is not near. Perhaps a misfortune has come across her? " He asked keeping his tone low knowing hearing wasn't the best lion trait.

Illitashia could tell the cub's mind was somewhat occupied so she responded to the bird. "I was wondering.. There are many hyenas about, and it would not be hard for a clan to take down a single lioness.. Especially one tired from tending her cubs...."
She halted a moment and realised how grateful she was to finally have a mate to count on. When she was pregnant before Ellidanio had helped her, but now she had a true home...
She smiled and resumed walking. "So I don't doubt something could have happened.. And as far as what you might eat, the trees and plants around here are quite fruitful.. The Shaman of Cyan Serenity can direct you to the best ones if you need help..."
She nodded to the land across the river, where the occassional lion could be seen. "Her name is Dashira, she is also their Princess.. A most helpful lioness.."
Reaching the cave she pulled out the better part of a zebra and nodded for the cub to dig in, sitting at the mouth of the den and looking over the lands. Talcorin was a dark dot, moving toward the river to greet Ferrian, and she smiled at the sight of both royal males. Allies and peace were something new and wonderful for her, she was glad she had finally found a home...

Nala smiled and stood, stretching out her wings. "Now just hold on by putting pressure with your legs."
She smiled back at Lilac and then lunged into a running gate. She kept her wings spread, keeping her balanced as she gained momentum. With a great leap she brought her wings down in that all important, air gaining downward stroke. And with that they were in the air, her wings beating hard to keep them there. She kept a note on Lilac's balance and shifted accordingly, not wanting her to suddenly fall off. They headed off towards the den where Illitashia was with the other cub.

Mookie let out a purr before rushing toward the food, forgetting her manners. Once she reached it, she stared at the meal as though debating the best course of action. Hunger nagged at her empty belly and she began to eat the meal quickly, should it disappear like her mother had.
"I thank you for your kindness. If I may say, you are the nicest lioness I have come across. A good Queen and if you are any reflection of the king of this pride then this is a wonderous place." The hornbill landed on a rock next to Mookie and watched her devour her meal, trying to smile instead of grimice. "You were hungry, weren't you?"

Lilac gave a nod and hung on, finding she quite enjoyed flying with Nala. The Pride Lands was an emerald sea below them, and she giggled as they headed toward the den and called a hello to her mother.
"Momma!" She squeeled happily.
"You are too kind." Illitashia bowed her head in thanks for his compliment, and then watched the cub eat. She seemed ravenous, and Illitashia smiled sadly, wondering what could have happened to her family.

Yunalice stood at the border of the pride's lands. The fragile-looking lioness paced at the border, wondering is she should go fourth. All her life she had never had any friends. They all saw her as too fragile a lioness to touch. They feared play would break her. She had grown accustomed to sitting and watching her peers play. Never once did it make her bitter,...she had her dreams to keep her company.
The Autumn lioness stood there for a while longer, looking like a porcelain figurine in the surrounding oasis. Finely groomed, tiny, small, and fragile, she took her first steps into the lands

Ferrian laughed and shook his head, swiping a paw at the crystal water. A tiny wave flowed away from his strike and hit Talcorin, who laughed and sent a return splash.
"Some Royalty we are." Ferrian grinned as he pounced toward the deeper water and sent waves over his dark coated friend.
Talcorin laughed and tried to dodge, his left side soaked from the splash he couldn't quite avoid. "Peace is a wondrous thing."
He grinned at the Crown Prince of Serenity, one of his truest friends.
Ferrian smiled back, giving a deep nod, and then lead the way to the shore of Talcorin's land. Setting his paws within the territory of Rose Wings, he halted and raised his head a little higher, eyeing the area around him.
Rather than the blue and green flowers that dotted Cyan Serenity, soft rose-colored blossoms covered the emerald grass and sprouted from the crevices of rocks.
"Home." Talcorin sighed, and then jumped as the scent of a strange lioness drifted to him. "A newcommer?"
Ferrian smiled. "Shall we go greet her?"
Talcorin nodded and headed up the rise, looking down at the autumn-coated lioness with a gentle smile. "Hello, Welcome to Rose Wings."

Yunalice looked up to the voice that had spoken, with wide rose eyes, "Hello,.." She greeted with a soft easy grin. She wasn't one to be scared by the precince of any lion. No, she was to naive of danger to ever be scared. She had a kind heart, and alway greeted others with a smile, though the suddeness that the lion had appeared had startled her a bit. She sat down, facing the large lion, and wrapped her tail around her.

Talcorin gave a bow.
"I am Talcorin, King of Rose Wings Pride, can I help you my lady?" He purred. With a glance over his shoulder he nodded and Prince Ferrian started up the rise, halting a few paces away.
Ferrian bowed his head to the dainty lioness and gave her a friendly smile. "Greetings Lady, I am Ferrian, Crown Prince of Cyan Serenity... The Pride just across the river.."

Yunalice bowed her head to the two royals, bore lifting it again to speak, "I am Yunalice,...searching for a place fo call home." She nodded, face never losing it's contented smile.

Talcorin and Ferrian shared looks, and the Prince bowed his head and extended a paw as if to say "After you!". He smiled and took a step back.
Talcorin laughed softly and turned back to Yunalice. "Well met Lady Yunalice.. You are more than welcome here in Rose Wings, if that is what you desire.. If not..."
He trailed off and glanced at the Prince.
Ferrian laughed and bowed his head. "Then Cyan Serenity is also open to you. However, considering fate, I do believe you have already found the home you are searching for. "

She nodded once more, "Thankyou," She chuckled a bit, a bell-like sound, as she replied to Ferrian, "Indeed,...I think here is the place a I can call home"
