Actually, I took the Deep Forbidden backpack from a picture of just it from a site called Mobile Suit League. I had considered trying to trace over a tiny black-and-white picture of Forbidden Blue's backpack that they had, but decided it was more trouble than it would be worth and just stuck that backpack on there.

Having a black-and-white picture of what I want to use works better, because then I can just use Photoshop's select color feature to select the black outline and paint a layer over. Makes coloring a helluva lot easier. I think I might make a variant of Kuwagata 2 (that blue guy I posted was an aquatic variant) using Buster Gundam parts after I handle a couple of commissions.

And Cagalli, thanks for the offer, but I gave your idea a shot and found it won't work. The Dagger gets too much in the way of the backpack to make it usable.

Trying to edit a JPG like I would a Mark Simmons GIF would be as Heculean a task as trying to get Shani to say Gundam Wing is an excellent portrayal of a realistic war story and mean it.

Also, your picture comes with a whole new set of headaches that would cause me just as much (if not more) work as just tracing over the trouble patches on what I've got and filling in with the paint tool.

I may take the dark blue and white color scheme though. That looks a lot better than the one it's got right now.

I may also replace the shoulders with Guntank shoulders to better resemble the Deep Forbidden. That way Shani could sleep at night knowing that at least that variant is free of those barbaric and godless Wing parts that should burn in Hell for simply existing.

Don't worry though, as I will make many custom MS that mix UC, Wing, and SEED parts because I know how much Shani loves them. blaugh
