Purring she nuzzled the small male cub before her eyes widened with a new wave a pain, a stronger wave of pain. Her claws stretched out as she cried out in pain, her breathing stopped while she gave a strong heavy push.
This one was going to rip her inside out she thought as she panted suddenly, her muzzle was covered in blood, from her first cub. She thought it was over, but it wasnt, it was just a break. Again she was hit with a wave of pain, with a cry a pale cream coated cub sprawled out beside her mother and father. She grunted and mewed as she shuddered with the thrust upon the world. She seemed to grunt happily as her mother cleaned her of her birthing goo.
A cresent moon marked her forehead, ranging from a vibrant blue, the blue of her father, to a darker blue, like her fathers wings. Her paws held the same blues, on oppising paws, outlined in a warm orange as a bloody maroon color streamed down from her eyes, she was a beautiful mix of her parents, with a small fang poking out of her upper lip she nuzzled her mothers side as she too began to feed.

Ezhno purred as he nuzzled Twisted. "Shouldn't have much more to go...right? You're doing well..."

She blew at her hair, she gave a soft laugh. "I'm a pro." Her attention suddenly snapped towards her lower region, it seemed their daughter shared her sack, another was coming as well.
Thats why she hurt so badly, she thought as she panted as she bared down once more upon contractions. This one didnt hurt as bad, though she seemed to flip around back and forth. With a cry, she birthed her first breach cub.
Her coat was a dark navy blue hue, the color of her fathers wings. With a coo and a mew she fought for breath, a star laid kissed in the middle of her forehead. The star ranged from a warm orange, to a soft purple...a soft aqua and orange made its way up her nose in a jagged like motion. Her paws were streaked with two colors, a pale purple to a soft aqua on one paw, and then backwards on the lower back paw. Her other paw was a warm orange, then a stormy blue hue, and then backwards on her lower back paw. She held black tear streams down her cheeks, she too held a pair of fangs that peeked out. The cream cub, mewed at her twin sister softly, the pair nudged each other as then they in unison began to nurse.
Twisted licked and nuzzled her cubs one by one, thinking she was finally done.

Ezhno finally started to allow himself to relax, holding a sheltering wing over his mate. The queen of his pride, he realized, since she had come here to birth his cubs. As she should be...none other was strong enough in his mind. Azure Haven had no room for weak and ineffectual royals.

Twisted went to take a sigh of relief before another contraction hit her, " Oh gods!" she cried out as she went through the longest cubbing of her life.
A small male cub finally pushed through, he whimpered and grunted as he met his mothers tongue. His coat was a rainbow of colors, from both parents. But he was a bit smaller than the other three cubs. The pains slowly came to a stop, she gazed down at her four beautiful cubs, two healthy males, and two beautiful females. She looked up towards Ezhno with a small smile she lifted her face towards his. " I love you this much.." She said softly..

Ezhno chuffed affectionately and firmly pressed his forehead to her own. "You won't regret it...at least not permanently." He chuckled softly. "Cubs do have a way of getting you to regret their existence sometimes."

Listening to the cubs nurse, she glances over to Mili and Zareb who had sat still the whole time, fretting. She called them over, nuzzling them as well, she watched as they nuzzled their daddy as well, then looked to they're new siblings. " Never. Never will I regret you, or them...never." She said softly.

Ezhno smiled and nipped at her ear playfully but gently. "Even when they've got their little fangs sunk in somewhere you don't exactly want them to be?"

By this time Lacavii had begun to make himself scarce. He rarely saw anyone even Ezhno. He had found some the greatest hiding places of the lands of the pride. As any lion his avoidance of had begun to take a toll as his personality went wild his thoughtful nature had been taken over by defiance and a disgust of other. However this day Lacavii was heading back for the main den of the pride to check up on what news had happened during his long absense. On his way through the brush however Lacavii caught the sound of cubs and wimpering. His ears slowly fell back on his head as a snarl appeared on his muzzle and growl escaped his throat. Slowly he made his way to where the sounds had orginated and as he stepped through the last bush baring his way was surprised to find Ezhno, a lioness he could not remember, and around six different cubs with four of those looking newly born. "Ezhno?"

Twisted's head snapped towards the unknown male, her ears pinned back as she moved quickly around her cubs. A mother like temper and protectiveness raced through her quickly, her eyes darted to her older cubs who quickly moved behind her.
Her tail flicked back and forth, she wouldnt tolerate strangers, or a dangerous male around her new born cubs...they had just gotten a taste of life. "Who are you?" she asked, her tone wasnt threating, yet it wasnt overly friendly either.

Lacavii glanced over at the lioness and snarled at her but said nothing. He showed a defiant streak as he ignored the lioness not caring about her cubs or her. She was a stranger and unless Ezhno knew her, he had no interest in her. "Ezhno? What's going on?"

Ezhno's whole body went tense, and he fought to stifle a snarl of his own. Pride member since cubhood Lacavii might be, but if he threatened the demonic king's new sons and daughters...he would pay dearly. "Show some respect for your new queen, hunt brother," he said in a steady, take-no-crap tone. "She traveled far that she might have our cubs here, and is weary." His tail twitched and he looked to Twisted. "That would be Lacavii...he's been here since he was a cub." His mouth twitched sardonically. "Though he could use some manners."

Lacavii eyed Ezhno as he spoke still feeling rather defiant. After a moment of thought Lacavii looked to the lioness he had snarled at and said. "I am sorry my queen. I did not know." With that Lacavii bowed his head to her and closed his eyes so to hide the glare that he would had directed at the ground. Defiance corsed through his viens and more developed with each passing day. Anger filled his heart almost to the brim and flew in every direction directed at no one and everyone at the same time. In his submissive position to Ezhno's queen, the pride queen, his body shook though to any other the shaking was fairly unnoticable as he forced his muscles to stay as they were while bowed to the queen.

The muscles in her jaws twitched slightly as she only gave a nod of her head in understanding. She licked her now sleeping cubs and gave a yawn herself, she wasnt sure how long it would be before her pride noticed she was missing, she was the one who hunted and brought food to the pride.
She flicked her tail, they had her sons, wasnt that enough for them? She nosed her mate as she glaced up towards Ezhno and gave off a soft purr in his direction as she turns her gaze back towards Lacavii, " Its understandable, your reaction. But when a guest deserved more than what you offered in greeting..Specially a new mother. Your lucky your standing, a good mother will defend her cubs to the death."

Ezhno eyed Lacavii warily, not liking the tension the young adult now showed. He hoped Lacavii would not prove a loose cannon...an explosion was hardly what was needed at this time. He needed someone he could trust to guard Twisted and the cubs while he went to speak to the leader of the pride Twisted had left. "It helps to see if they seem hostile or not, Lacavii, instead of acting before such."
