"Bugs.." Abasi blinked, and turned his head over his shoulder to look at the giggling Ayana. He turned back to the cub with a smile on his face, "Whatevr you want to do my boy"

"Anything I want?" Jachai sat down, and thought for a moment. He eventually gave a little sigh and admitted, "I don't really know what I want to do..."

Abasi sat in the middle of the pride, sighing. Ayana had left, not long ago. He was putting Ashura in charge of the young ones, which wasn't the best idea, but was all he could do. Now.. he would just wait out until they were teens, he supposed.

Benoni followed after Ayana, his eyes stared ahead of him. His head held high as he pauses at the edges of Abasi's pride, his tail swayed out behind him as he licked his muzzle, raising it to the sky he let out a roar, telling the other King he was on his boarders. Finishing his roar, he licked his muzzle once more, his ears perked.

"Benoni?" Abasi, who sat in the middle of his pride, looked over his shoulder at Ashura, who nodded back, stood, and promptly walked to the edges of the territory, sitting before the two. Ashura frowned, he knew it was coming, no avoiding it. He walked up to them, "So.." He looked from Ayana, to Benoni. Abasi followed, sitting beside the male he considered as a brother.
Ayana blinked and looked to Ashura, "Ashura, we need to talk...."
Abasi stood and walked between Ayana and Ashura, "Ayana, you will speak to me"
Ayana nodded and followed after the king, who walked towards the center of the pride.
Ashura looked to Benoni, face grim, "I suppose you wish to know what they are speaking of, you wish to know what it going on with Ayana..."

"Abasi." He muttered, his gazed turned toward Ashura, he tried to keep an unthreatening look. "Ashura." He greeted both males, he bowed his head slightly. He glanced after Ayana, he kept from following after her.
" Yes. I do wish to know, and I guess if she isnt going to tell me." He fought back the look of betrayal and hurt. Sitting down, he looked to Ashura. "Tell me."

"Well, you see" Ashura nodded and looked up at the sky, "Ayana and I were cubs at the same time, though I am much older than her, we were both born into enemy prides. She, as you can tell, is quite the kind character, but was born into a family of greedy, conniving lions, her parents werent as kind, yet, they were the king and queen of their pride, which would make her the princess. I was born as the prince of an enemy pride, not much different then hers. Her parents were greedy for power, and attempted to take over my former pride, and not on the battlefield, but on what seemed to be a truce, in front of myself, and their only surviving child Ayana, killed my parents" He paused, taking a deep breath, "She was horrified, and from then on, learned to keep her emotions to herself, always posing the sweet kind creature you see before you, but is deeply hurt on the inside, from both her parents murdering mine, and also their other children" He looked to the ground and sighed, "But, the others in my pride didn't take the murder well, and attacked their den in the middle of the night, slaughtering Ayana's parents, and the rest of their pride before her eyes, while she was hiding. But in the slaughter, they themselves were killed. I managed t get myself and her away from there and raised Ayana as best I could, she eventually forgot everything about her past but always was hurt inside, not knowing quite why. But now..." He looked towards the den where Abasi was saying the exact same thing, "Now she is starting to remember everything, and it is crushing her. Please, Benoni" He looked into his eyes, no longer motionless as usual, but pleading, "Keep her safe, she will be delicate, broken at this time..."

He let it all sink into his skull, he nodded his head. He didnt have much to say, he slaughtered his own mother. " I am sorry to hear such a thing happened to either of you, but sorries are not going to protect her from her past...." He rose to his paws. "Even without this knowledge Ayana had my protection in everyway I can give it to her. And she will have it no matter what."

Ashura smiled, "Alright then. Ayana won't be to happy when she returns, so.. be cautioned..."

"Thank you." He bowed his head, he awaited Ayana. His eyes roamed the sky as the sun took its place bringing morning to the land, his mind wandered to Kila, today he'd ask her to be his mate...his heart swelled at the idea, his mind then reminded him of Ayana, she would be in a delicate state...he sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. He'd ask Kila soon or later...He opened his eyes and glanced around, this pride smelled of new cubs, he flickered his ears softly.

Ayana walked back to Benoni, a cheerful look on her face. She nodded and stood beside him, not wanting to speak of something for another, "So.. oh wait" She looked foreward to Abasi's aproaching form, a smaller one bouncing behind him, "Benoni, this is Ajila, Abasi and Jalara's new cub"
Ajila grinned and walked up to them, "Hello!"
Ashura looked to Ayana, an odd look on his face. She looked cheery, but he had doubts, "Well, you two should be off..."
Ayana nodded, "A'ight" She paused and looked at her famila, walking off the pride lands in a sort of a fast walk. She had heard everything Abasi had told her, the same thing Ashura told Benoni. But.. one part was wrong, she rememberd it now. One part, one major part. But, she was not ready to tell it yet. She walked to the river, deep in thought.

Benoni glanced at the cub, he smiled. "Hello Ajila." He glanced towards Abasi, "Congrats." he said, he looked to Ayana. He shook his head, she was masking and hiding things once more. It pained him deeply. "It was a pleasure seeing you all once again. I'll be sure to send her back sooner next time." He bowed his head and turned, following after her with a slow, powerful walk.

Ayana sighed and stopped and looked to him "Benoni. Ashura told you, I know that. But, he wasn't there the whole time, he just remembers what others told him. Most of it was correct, from what I have remembered, except for one fact" Tears came to her eyes, her head whipped to the side, eyes gazing sorrowfully into the water, "One. Fact."

Her tears pained him, he hide the pained emotions though. He lifted a paw and wiped them away as they fell down her muzzle. "Ayana, your past is horrific...I am sorry it happened to such a lovely lioness." He nuzzled her cheek. "You dont have to tell me anything if you dont want to, or you can wait until your ready." He nudged her shoulder softly.

"Thank you, Benoni" She looked at him, smiling, "If I was going to tell anyone, it will be you, I just don't think that right now..." She sighed and laid her head on his shoulder.
