Anya gave him a gentle one. "Well, My uncle is king of his own lands to the north west. I just took a wrong turn to the lake." She gave him a little giggle and stood up on her paws. "What were your eyes doing on me anyway, King Ajani?" Her voice held a slight purr to it as she said his name.

Ajani blushed under his fur. "I uh... was just, scanning the area and saw you... I was, trying to see who it was, thats when I came." he said.

"Ah." She gave a little chuckle at his blush. "So, how's your pride? Is it a small one or a bit one?" Her head tilted slightly, her left ear twitching out of habit. Anya stepped a little closer to the male but stopped a few paces away. She just couldn't stop staring into those eyes of his.

He sighed. "How big is three lions, including me... Its me, my brother, and Wistaria..." he said. "But, thats fine. I'm gonna need a Queen before I'll be able to handle a large pride..." he said, and looked up at her again. He smiled softly, stepping towords her those last few paces, staring down into her eyes.

She didn't really mind the closeness, their noses almost touched as she gave a little smile. "Yeah, I see what you mean. My uncle's pride is small, but he says as long as he has his queen, it doesn't matter to him. Originally, I'm in my brother's pride in the grasslands. I came to visit my uncle and possibly find my mother..." Her left forepaw rested on his larger one, her tail slightly flicking softly. Absently, she leaned into him, their noses touching. Her amethyst gaze never left his purple eyes. "But...that can wait..." She whispered feeling all too comfortable in this male's presence.

Ajani stared into her eyes, and smiled very softly. She tilted his head down, along with hers, and put his forhead against hers. "So you have always lived with family," he began, raising his head again, and still looking at her. "Have you ever thought about going out to find your own pride with someone?" he asked quietly, then touched his nose to hers agian.

She gave a little flush as their noses touched again. "Well...my mother found me since I was abandoned near to her pride. She took me in, and I became her daughter. Her brother went off to another pride with his queen and I went with my brother, Akintunde. I do not know what has happened to my mother, or the old king I use to be raised under." At the other question, her face suddenly became saddened. "I've had dreams, yes, but...I'm not sure if I could ever fufill that dream..." She gave a little sigh nuzziling into his mane. Her ears drooped in sadness as she looked up into his eyes again, their noses touching.

"Why, because you can't find someone you love? Because you can't find the one just for you...?" he asked, his smile fading softl, but it grew again, but stayed calm and soft.

"I guess...it's because I can't find the right one for me." She looked up at him and gave a little smile. "It's ok, though. I know I'll find him...one day, I will. And when I find him, we'll have a family and a great pride. I'll bear his heirs and we'll have a great life together." She nuzzled into his mane against giving a soft purr. She was extrememly close to him now, her body pressed up against his. He felt so warm, comforting, and inviting. She wondered why she never felt this way with Chaos...

She gasped softly looking back at him. "Aja...I..." A lumb welled in her throat for a moment before tears streamed down her face. "OH, Ajani, I'd love to!" She buried her face in his men as tears of joy streamed down her muzzle. She shivered a little nuzziling his snout and licking his muzzle. "I'd love to be your queen, Ajani." She nuzzled him softly purring with content and delight.

Ajani smiled. "Oh Anya... my...Queen..." he purred, nuzzling her back, happier than he'd ever been before. He continued to pur. He licked her muzzle, slowly opening his eyes.

Anya purred softly then backed away a little to look into his eyes. Her left ear twitched slightly as she purred, nuzziling his face with hers. She laughed a little at his caress. "That tickles, Aja." She smiled and sighed contently. "You're gonna have to come with me to my brother's abode...and to Uncle Karver so they may both give us their blessing." She stretched a little and licked his face as she calmed down. A small giggle erupted from her throat as she looked into his eyes.

He nodded. "Right, yeah." he said, and sighed. "How about, you.." he began, then looked up to the sky, then looked down at her. "Why don't we, do that now... I can leave Kibibi in charge until we get back, it shouldn't take too long." he said.

"My brother's grasslands is a little ways away...but I think if we go, stay a little while, then make it back, we should be able to get here before sundown. On our way there, we can visit Uncle Karv." She gave a little smile and licked his muzzle. "Shall...shall I come with you to see your pride?" Her left ear twitched slightly as did her feathered tail.
