i'd have to admit when i found out they canceled Invader Zim, i was in tears... yes im a horrible huge fan of Vasquez's work. but.. there's nothing much that can be said or done. Nick is a stupid channel and will hog Invader Zim till they feel they got ever last cent out of it. and whenever that is, hopefully a decent channel will pick it up. but for now, we can't be sure cause of Nick's greediness. i don't know if you guys know of the last issue between Jhonen and Nick but for the second DVD cover of the Invader Zim release, Nick wouldn't allow Jhonen to use an art piece he did. it had zim with his michancial arms holding kids in mid air and such and i think some chaos in the background. they felt it was too violent and such on. so Vasquez got really pissed off and was like "******** it" and in the end Nick used a normal Invader Zim pic that is lame compared to Jhonen's piece. that of course a few months ago... i think in june? but yeah. Nick is greedy. i'll see if i can find the pic to show you guys what it was. i don't see what's so bad about it but i guess cause im a teen and don't see the harm

it does! i mean, they canceled his show! his own creation! the least they can give him is artistic freedom. i mean... errrrrr, Nick is so greedy. they're so concerned of apperiences, wanting it to look so innocent so parents to buy. gosh that's so stupid. oh well. i just think Nick should just let go of Invader Zim. i mean, they have Spongebob that's flowing with cash. would it really hurt them to let go of this one show??? maybe but... i don't think so. i think Spongebob makes an a** load of money specially with a movie coming out in November. but yeah... just some of my thoughts sweatdrop

Although I agree with those who say it should've been on Adult Swim.

Alright, maybe its just me, but I don't think 'deserve' is the right term to use. I could say that Invader Zim was unsuited for the rating that Nickelodeon is trying to maintain, and not meant for the young audience that Nick is focused on. I could say that Cartoon Network or any number of other television stations would be more suited. But 'deserving' a show sounds like you're saying that its an awesome privilege to show the cartoon.

I would think that it would be the other way around, as the cartoon would depend on the TV stations viewers in order to maintain popularity. Nickelodeon has a very large amount of viewers, young, adoloscent, and even older than that, so while IZ (Yes, shortening the name like that is *fine*, geez,) was airing, it gained many fans. If it had been on some random station with hardly any viewers whatsoever, none of you would know about it! And give Nick some credit, its now being put out on DVD for the fans. Nickelodeon deserved the right to choose which cartoons it wanted to air and which it didn't.

I think it should have come out on full DVD, like an Anime OAV. Invader Zim is inappropriate for kids, or so the story goes.... This way, at least they'd FINISH it...

Nickalodian is not worthy of Invader Zim!! Of coarse Cartoon network is. 3nodding they should have it on Adult Swim! 3nodding That would be soooo cool.... but I meen seriosly, they lost alot of viewers when they dropped Invader Zim, I think thats why they haven't given it to Cartoon Network yet. *Key word is 'yet'* 90% of the people I know love watching Invader Zim and are really angry that it was cancled. *Of coarse if you live near a video rental store then you can rent Invader Zim vol. 1 like I did*
