one question, is Kiuma going to get rid of the rouges who have joined the pride? Just her disgust for the rouges seems to point to that in my head... but then Bakhti was around at her birth so does she know who came as rouges and who didnt?

Remove one question, is Kiuma going to get rid of the rouges who have joined the pride? Just her disgust for the rouges seems to point to that in my head... but then Bakhti was around at her birth so does she know who came as rouges and who didnt? No, no, Kiuma wouldn't force out the rogues that have joined. That would cut the Pride's number way, way down, and that would be the last thing she wants. Despite disliking rogues, the size of the pride is one of the things she's so proud of about it. She just over looks the fact that its mostly rogues that make it so big. I do have plans though, if she makes Queen. Ideas: ~ Rogues will no longer be able to join the pride, save in certain situations and/or if they prove themselves worthy. ~ A class system will be put up, where purebloods are considered a sort of upper class nobility, while rogues and their descendents are lower class peasants. ~ Mixing between the classes, as in taking mates, will be discouraged as much a possible. Kiuma, while being prejudiced and strong willed, is far from stupid and pig-headed. She understands that she has to bend her views for somethings, she just doesn't have to like it.

Really, Kiuma just wants what she sees as best for the pride. She just happens to see herself as that best thing for it. She wants it to grow big and strong, so that no one will think to mess with it.

eh heh heh...if another god were to get involved there would be a much bigger problem than whatever war there is in the pridelands. o.o;;;; Tanaka HATES the other gods.
He's not quite mortal, he's a deity thrown to the mortal realm, of course that means he lost a good deal of his powers. He is still a god, just a fallen god. You could think of him as...a demon. >)
As for what powers he does have, well I need to talk to dusty and find out what abilities gods are supposed to have and then go from there.
Though please bear in mind that is all OOC knowledge. Kiuma is the only mortal that knows he's a fallen god.

hmm.. the ranking system wouldnt be that different from now then? As the only prideland pureblood are the royal family, then there are half bloods and then rouges.
hmmm Im not sure... I think Bakhti may side with Kami, depends what happens in rp but she will want the safest and happiest place for her cubs so I think she will probably side with Kami. Mbali however might side with Kiuma, he likes to stir up trouble.

Mmmm... I wouldn't say that there really is a ranking system at all with the Pridelands currently. Atleast there isn't SUPPOSED to be, other then the king and queen heirarchy.
If you've noticed Mufasa has always treated everyone else as equals, and Kami has learned the same from her father. It's just a formality that 'forces' the responsibility of standing up for everyone else and keeping everyone else safe that comes with her birthright.

Basically, with Kami things will be left as they are pretty much, but what Kiuma will try and make it so that it is clear that others are welcome, but not equal?

With Kiuma, things will be about as different as they can get. The lines will be clear, and her paw will be firm on the reins of control. Right now, Mufasa pretty much just guides things along, helping it here and there but pretty much letting it be as it wants. Kiuma will have definite ideas of how things should be, and she'll use her position to enforce that. She wants to lead, to have them follow her where she wants them to go. She wants to be a queen in more than just name. New comers will not be welcomed, though they'll be tolerated until they leave. Joiners will have a lot harder task, if they want to be a part of the pride.

Iris - I wonder if I could snatch an RP with you that includes Mufusa and my Amari. He is Maawio's mate and has been in the pridelands a while but hasn't yet made it official! I'd love to RP with Muffy before he goes since I haven't had the chance yet.
