(Birdy)
It had taken them some days, following Forsynth's instincts. The traveled through dense forsests, crossed great rivers, and dry plains. Finally one night, under the open stars, Forsynth nuzzled his Lady softly. "We will reach the herd soon. I can sense him not far away. Tomorrow evening, at the latest." They were traveling more slowly, due to Lady's burgeoning state. He wasn't entirely sure of what this meant, or why she was as she was, but as long as she was safe and healthy and happy, he didn't care. He loved her just the same.
(Nata)
Zereal awoke to stare UP at his friend. He struggled to his hooves but he was still smaller! Somehow this just didn't seem fair. Still, he was his friend, after all. Stoutly he stifled his surge of jealousy and mild resentment that Huvar had grown before he did. That just wasn't how friends acted, and he was sure Corynth would be disappointed in him if he let Huvar know how he felt.
"That's some growth spurt, buddy," he said instead, eyes going round in astonishment. "Whatchya been eating? I want some!" His grin showed he was teasing, and he swished his tuft of a tail mischieviously.

[Talleh]
Well, Lady was glad someone knew what they were doing. She sank gratefully to the cool grass that cushioned her swollen belly, huffing out a large sigh and allowing every muscle in her body to uncol itself and relax. It had been hard enough lifting each leg one more time toward the end of the days - she just felt so blasted tired. And the fact that she was craving such odd things, things she usually would cast up her nose at, gave her worry.
Ah well, Lady thought with another exhale, stretching out her sore legs. Better than bleeding or something.
Lady's senses skyrocketed suddenly as a slight twinge in her stomach region alerted her nerves and, thus, her brain. Well. That was.. odd. Lady graced her abdomen with a glare and a silent demand to desist in.. in whatever it was doing before turning her head to the stars.
... There it was again. It was the strangest thing she'd ever felt; it was like.. like something was kicking her from the inside. Lady couldn't hide the puzzled look that engulfed her face.
