The two walked out the doors of the school once more.. Still hand in hand I might add.. He looked over at her and smiled.. "Sure seems like a nice day to just lounge about wouldn't you say?"

He smiled as they walked and found a nice place to hang out.. "We sure can.." he replied.. I need some sun.. Maybe I dont.. Oh who knows.. he thought to himself.. He watched as she conjured a lounge chair.. Wow.. She never seeces to amaze me..he thought to himself once more.. He watched her eyes light up when she thought about sitting on it.. He smiled.. He looked at her as she began to take her school robes off.. A pair of short shorts and a tank top is all she had on.. He was dumb founded, he looked incrediable all the time, but something about those shorts.. It kind of made his head stop working right.. All he could do was stare.. Maybe it had something to do with the amount of skin showing.. He realized she was telling him to breath, which he figured ment, 'Blink and think'.. He looked in her eyes, "Oh.. Sorry.." he said as he looked down at what he was wearing.. I should change too.. It seems like the temperature in this spot has risen.. He took his want and said something as he pointed the wand at himself.. He was wearing a pair of swim trunks and sandles.. He sat down next to Toria.. "Thanks.." he said as he took a sip of the drink he had conjured..

He smiled, as they sat there in the mild sunlight and drank their drinks.. He looked at her, "Maybe a dip in the lake later.." he smiled as she nodded..

He smiled as she watched her jump into the lake.. He stood up, slipped off his shoes and listened to her talk.. He smiled walking down to the bank and looking at her.. "I heard that somewhere too.." he said as he waded into the water..

He walked over to her in the water and the bottom of the lake suddenly dropped off. He took her hand as she pulled him in.. "Im commin', Im commin'"... He smiled as they just goofed off in the water..

He looked at her as she kind of smiled.. He saw her look at her wrist and say it was almost time for class.. "Your wrist told you that?" he smiled as she nodded her head before she headed back to shore.. He followed.. They reached the shore and got dressed.. "I cant remember when I've had this much fun.." he said as he conjured some clothes and put his robes back on.. "Thank you.." he said with a smile..

Rhiana, as she entered the front courtyard, decided she need a bit of a run. Got to warm up for Quidditch season... she though as she set off at a brisk pace down the hill.

Edaline O'Haera walked slowly - she never ran. She always saw Hogwarts with new eyes at the beginning of every school year, even after seven years as a student and five on the faculty.

The walk down to the lake was winding, and by the time Edaline reached the shore,...Rhiana was seated on a rock looking out at its glassy surface.

It was Rhiana's turn to talk now. Now, Rhiana was not a shy person by nature, but just because of the fact that this was her professor, she treaded lightly in her questions. "Professor, I was just wondering.." Rhiana paused, trying to think of the right way to word her question. Edaline smiled to herself as she watched the cogs turning in the teen's head.
"I'm just curious how you made the decision to become a teacher. See, I think I might want to become a flying instructor when I'm older, if not here, maybe with a minor-league Quidditch team. I know I'd like it because I adore flying, myself." For a moment Rhiana was transported back onto her broomstick, during the last years' Quidditch cup. The sheer exhiliration she had felt on that day brought shivers down her spine even as she thought of it. But bringing herself back to the lakeshore, Rhiana finished her question.

"Why did you choose it over everything else there was to be done?"

When she had finished asking her question, Rhiana saw something in the professor she had never seen before--even if it was for a fleeting second. A hardness came over Edaline's face, and for a moment, every one of the few lines in her 25-year-old face seemed to become a bottomless trench, and she looked as if she was twice her age. But after a single moment, it fled, and Edaline became the calm, collected, smooth-skinned and young professor Rhiana had known a minute before.

"You may know of what has happened in my past, and of some terrible things that I both witnessed and, in certain situations, had a part in perpetrating. For a period of time after witnessing terrible deeds performed at the expense of others--Muggle and wizardfolk alike--I could not bring myself to casting a single spell against another person. I fled from my family, which had never supported me, and turned to my true home for guidance. When I realized that this type of guidance I was recieving could be passed by me on to any pupil who would listen to me teach it, I was fascinated."

Edaline sighed, leaning against the side of the boulder. "In short, I turned the knowledge I had learned to do incredible evil into a way of shaping the future of our world."

Rhiana sat there for a moment, almost shell-shocked by the answer she had recieved. She had expected a hokey sentence long answer like, "I had a great teacher and wanted to be like her," or something along that lines. And,... come to think of it, she couldn't even remember why Professor O'Haera had started teaching as early as she did... or what had happened to her! The girl mentally slapped herself for her forgetfulness.

Edaline laughed to herself at Rhiana's silence. "If you have not heard my story, Jostton, you have my permission to gossip a bit. But I would request that you keep what I just said in solidarity between us." Now the professor resumed her teacher like attitude. "Am I understood?"

Rhiana nodded vigorously. It was much easier to react to this strange woman when she was speaking the way a teacher should. "Understood."
