 "What?" He blinked, and then blinked again. Rather lost and confused more than anything else, he decided to play along. "Oookay.. but shouldn't be go back before someone gets upset at us?" "Besides, what games could we play with just the three of us?" That, and Luxord's 'fun' comment wasn't very promising...

Demyx ran a paw through his hair, cringing as it rubbed across the place his head had smashed into the wall. Oi that still hurt...
"The other's won't care if we look around a bit...they're too busy searching for the reports or whatever anyway."

 "If anyone has any complaints about us runnging around out of the Caslte we can just say we were doing research. I'm sure they wont complain about that."
"Besides. The castle is stuffy and i am tired of making bets with them. They are no fun to play against." Though he did like making bets with Demyx. Thoes always ended up being amusing in the end

"Why would anyone be upset at-" he stopped midsentence as he remembered a particularily angry person with a large X scar across their face. "Ah right." And suddenly staying at the castle didn't seem so obligatory after all. "Are we going anywhere in particular?" His ear twitched slightly, betraying his excitement at the thought of going (well really being) somewhere else.

Demyx stepped forward, head tilting at them both.
"We didn't really know where to go Roxas...we're just looking around and stuff."

He snagged Demyx and tugged him next to him. "We were just going to explore. See what we could find and who we might run into"

"Looking around sounds fun, but," he shifted his feet nervously, "we wont run into anyone scary will we?" Roxas honestly hoped the two knew what they were doing. Last thing he wanted to do was get lost (not that he had an inkling of what he was doing here anyway).

Demyx squeaked at the sudden snagging, clinging to the older blonde as soon as he was close enough.
"Even if we do...we can always just go back to the castle? If those portal things can get us here they can get us back..."

He suddenly felt a little lonely as he watched the other two hug each other. A part of him wanted to withdraw away, but if he did that now, he'd never get back, not at least by himself. A part of him couldn't help but feel a bit bitter though. "I wonder where everyone else goes. I bet they all have someone to go to-" he bit back the comment about how even Demyx and Luxord had each other as friends.

Demyx tilted his head slightly, wondering why Roxas was keeping his distance.

He titled his head and looked at Roxas. He could tell the boy was lonely, he'd bet his pants on it. He did still have an empty arm. "Roxas....you dont have to keep your distance. We can be your friends too."

He didn't know what to say to Demyx's question (and he was pretty sure 'oh fine, just feeling ostrasized and threatened' wasn't going to cut it). But, someone had noticed him. THEY had noticed him, and it was a nice change. They had even offered to be his... friends. "I'm... feeling better," he confessed. "And..." he glanced at the ground shyly, suddenly afraid to make eye contact "I'd... like that. To be friends I mean."

"Yeah! I'd love to be your friend Roxas!"
The spastic blonde grinned, tail swishing happily behind him.
"We can be good friends, and play games and all kinds of stuff together! It'll be fun!"
Despite his er...activities...when alone with Luxord, Demyx still, essentially, had the mind and personality of a child. Being friends with another child-like member really did excite him.

He held out his other arm, the one not wrapped around Demyx. "Come on, you can join our happy ...family."
He smiled. He really was starting to adopt the 'children' of the group, did that make him a pervert? Ah well, it was fun so who cared
