History: Like Gemini, his past consisted of being taken away from his parents at the young age of 6, and trained by the military to become a SPARTAN.
At six years old, Dr. Hasley from the ONI came to John's school while he was playing on the playground. The military had been observing him for quite some time and noticed the way he moved and reacted was much different than any normal child at that age. He was playing a game of "King of the Hill" with his friends, and was never once thrown off the hill. He remained the "King" the entire duration of the game, until Dr. Hasley pulled him aside at least.
She began by showing him a shiny silver coin, one side with a head and the other with a bird. She told him that if he could guess what side it was going to land on and get it right, he could keep the coin. Amazingly, the child could see the coin flipping almost as if it was in slow motion and guessed the correct side at the very last second, it was heads.
As Gemini was, John and seventy-four other children his age were covertly taken from their homes and replaced with flash clones. This specific form of clone was employed to ensure that none of the families knew that their children had been kidnapped. However, the cloning was rushed and unstable and all of the clones died shortly after from what was termed as 'Metabolic Cascade Failure' making it seem like natural causes. Dr. Halsey, head of the Spartan II project, later commented that this side effect was unfortunate, but the time frame requirements of the project left no alternative. The original children were brought to planet Reach, one of the UNSC's headquarters, to train to become SPARTAN-II supersoldiers. On Reach, the abducted children began the intensive physical, mental and psychological training as part of the Spartan program by Chief Petty Officer Mendez, and were assigned new identification numbers instead of last names. John became known as John-117.
On the first day of training, John met his teammates Kelly-087 and Sam-034. They later became best friends and were basically like family to him, he loved them. At the age of eight they were sent out into the wilderness in Pelican dropships to participate in a survival exercise. Their trainer, Chief Petty Officer Mendez, said the last trainee to complete the objective had to walk back to the base from the mountainous wilderness, which was a very long walk. After being dropped off individually by the Pelican the trainees planned to link up by a large lake. After proceeding to the rendezvous point John and the other trainees found the Pelican to be guarded by drill instructors who were out of uniform and under orders to attack any trainee who approached the Pelican. John wanted to make sure everyone got back so he and his fellow trainees brutally beat the guards, stole the Pelican and flew it back to the military complex, with the guide of their teacher AI, Deja. When they returned home, John insisted that if anyone should be punished, it should be him, since he was the last one to board the Pelican. Halsey convinced Mendez to promote him to Squad Leader as a result of both his ability to adapt and his leadership over the other Spartans.
At the age of 14, the children were biologically and cybernetically augmented and enhanced. These procedures had substantial risks, and only thirty-three Spartans of the original seventy-five survived to functional status after the augmentations.
ohn-117's first real mission (September of that same year) was against rebels in the asteroid belt of the Eridanus System, where his homeworld was located. He was wounded but not incapacitated while leading his squad to capture Colonel Robert Watts, leader of the insurgent forces. He received a Purple Heart after the mission. He became Master Chief.
Later on he was briefed on the Covenant threat; he and the other Spartans would fight for many years against this new enemy. They were first sent to the Damascus Materials Testing Facility on the planet Chi Ceti 4 to retrieve the MJOLNIR Mark IV armor. While retrieving the armor they encountered a Covenant frigate above the planet: Sam, Kelly and John subsequently boarded it and planted a bomb. This resulted in the death of Sam, who stayed behind to ensure the detonation of the explosives, and because of a puncture in his armor that disallowed direct travel through the vacuum of space, by to them, an unknown creature. John was forced to leave the Covenant ship without one of his closest friends. He knew it was a life spent rather than a life wasted, just like Mendez had told him once.
There were many more battles fought and many more marine and Spartan deaths. The covenant battle raged on, using some of their new technology to defeat the Spartans and keep them on Earth forever, where they couldn't interfere. Like Gemini, Master Chief was their second victim to test their new weapon, turning him into a mystical lion-like creature and sending him to Earth. Though the covenant had disabled him, the Master Chief still kept his courage, his pride, his dignity, and his will to find Kelly and defeat the covenant forces once and for all.
*The last paragraph of his history is false information to the games and books of Halo. I needed a way to make him somehow turn into a lion, same with Gemini.
Personality: John is an exceptional leader and true blue all the way. He always completes a mission given even if it means the death of him. He is a very serious lion and a quick thinker as well. He envisions the plan before hand and ponders on what he can do to make things better. Though as serious as he can be, Master Chief as a pretty good sense of humor as well. He misses Sam, who died in one of their battles in space, and is determined to find Kelly; his best friend.
Skills: He is an unconventional Hero, for though he is strong, fast, and tactically brilliant, he is the epitome of none of those attributes, and is surpassed by other Spartans in each area. What John does possess above all is leadership and, to both Cortana's repeated salvation and bewilderment, probability-defying luck. This is the way the world ends. Cortana is a "SMART" artificial intelligence that was constructed from the flash-cloned brain of Dr. Halsey, the creator of the SPARTAN-II Project. The Doctor's tissue was cloned, and then the synaptic networks became the base of Cortana's processors. Her primary mission was to assist the Spartans in the capture of the Covenant High Prophets, and then to negotiate either a truce or peace treaty.
Cortana is never seen to have a physical form, unlike 343 Guilty Spark's avatar. However, she maintains the ability to communicate a strong female voice through available communications systems, and, if possible, project a holographic image of herself. In Halo she projects herself as a woman made of purple light, said to resemble in appearance and personality younger version of Dr. Halsey. In Halo 2, her appearance changes somewhat to a similar blue figure with longer hair.
In Halo, the core of Cortana was contained in a disk, which could be inserted into most systems; however, in Halo 2 the MJOLNIR Mark VI armor system the Master Chief wears is apparently equipped to allow her to transfer from system to system with a mere touch of the palm, using the MJOLNIR suit as a de-facto modem. Cortana was designed to infiltrate any security system, and once she is physically inside, there is little that can stop her from taking absolute control.
Aside from that, she is seen to be very proficient in the coordination and use of UNSC and later Covenant military hardware. Because one of the UNSC's primary uses of artificial intelligence is to oversee the targeting of point-defense and ship-to-ship weaponry, space navigation, and calculating Slipspace jumps, Cortana can operate ships and space stations by herself. But, for Cortana at least, this is only a secondary function. Cortana was able to command the cruiser U.N.S.C. Pillar of Autumn to great effect over the planet of Reach and the ringworld Halo against hostile Covenant space forces.
As her journey with the Master Chief continued on, she as well was captured when he was. The covenant wanted Cortana even if it took an eternity to gain access to her because of the knowledge she held of not only Earth's military, but theirs' as well. When they captured Master Chief and turned him into a mystical lion with their new found weapon, they forgot her micro chip was implanted within his suit. As a result, she was turned into a small AI mouse, still Cortana, but in mouse form. They were sent to earth at the same time, but she was seperated from Master Chief when he implanted her chip into the pod so she could navigate it. The pod malfunctioned and blew up on it's way down to the surface of the Earth. Cortana crashed into the left over debris from the other Spartan's ship, where she found herself as a mouse and where she encountered Derelict.
Personality: Cortana can be a bit naggy sometimes, acting like a mother to Master Chief. She is super intelligent and usually has an answer for everything. She can also be very sarcastic and really does have her own personality, even if she was based of Doctor Hasley and is an AI. She has a special bond with Master Chief because of how long they have been together. Cortana knows what she is doing and is quick witted, anything can be thrown at her.
Skills: The term "smart" means that her creative matrix is allowed to continually expand, unlike "dumb" A.I.s, which have a limited matrix. This grants her the ability to learn and adapt beyond her basic parameters, but at the cost of a limited "lifespan" of only seven years, at the end of which she will literally "think herself to death". History: A boy of six years old, he was visited by a Doctor/Scientist working of the UNSC, Dr. Hasley. He was at school at the time, like the rest of the children this doctor picked out, and told him about his new life, new future, and new destiny. He didn't have a choice and went with her like she told him too. Before going into the ship, however, he was flash cloned so his parents wouldn't suspect their missing child and get involved with the military. Derelict watched his back carefully, alert and ready for anything, as they took off and headed for Reach...his new home.
Once there he was given his ID number: SPARTAN-708, and teamed up with two other children his age; Gemini SPARTAN-305 and Valhalla SPARTAN-107. The immediately started off with vigorous training and harsh punishments, deprived from dinner if they didn't follow orders, or failed at the obstacle courses. Eventually, Derelict's team got stronger and they prevailed through most of the tests given. They were quite strong for little six year olds.
Like Gemini, Derelict faced many challenges and many changes as well. He survived the drop-off in the woods and made through the medical enhancement surgery all Spartans faced at 14 years of age. Derelict became quite strong and quite determined, much like his team members.
After years of preparing it was finally time, the covenant attacked and the Spartans were more than ready. However, Derelict faced the same fate the Gemini did, and was sent down to earth as some sort of mystical lion. He lost his armor, but held a Halo pendant around his neck and a crest on his chest. He didn't understand what was going on, why he was here, and how he got to be a lion. All he really did know was that it was going to be a treacherous journey...back home.
Personality: Derelict is quite laid back for a Spartan that was always taught to be alert. He has a very good sense of humor and is often sarcastic. He can make anyone's bad day turn into something brighter and put many smiles on other lions' faces. He thinks of himself no less than a manly-man and tries hard to be the hero in some cases. He isn't, however, at all conceited like you might think. When Derelict discovers something new, he goes on about it forever and continues to try and find more ways to make it better. He is one odd lion, but is a lot of fun to be around. He doesn't like people that stab others in the back, and won't tolerate being used.
Skills: When Derelict sets his mind to something, he won't stop until its figured out or perfected. He thinks very logically and can figure out the most complicated of problems with a simple solution. He is hard working and dedicated to those he cares about, protecting and loving them to no end. He can sometimes be a bit of a procrastinator, but things end up working out in the end for him. He biggest skill is his mind. Acquaintances Acquaintances:
Gemini: His best friend ever since he was a little kid. He doesn't think of her as a little sister, but not a lover either. She is outgoing, funny, fun to be around, and really cares about him. He will never leave her side.
Valhalla: His other best friend who he has known for a while. Though he may be the youngest out of the three of them he is sure one of the smartest. Though Val can get on his nerves sometimes, Derelict still love him like a brother and it won't ever change.

History: A little girl of six years old, with long beautiful red hair and sky blue eyes. Gemini was a sweet, yet tomboyish girl with the heart of a warrior. For her size and age, she was one heck of a fighter and runner. At school, she would always beat out the girls and boys in any physical activity. Little did she know that her gifts, would destine her to a horrible fate.
Dr. Hasley, an extraordinary scientist working for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) under the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), came up with a project that would make fighting the upcoming battle with the covenant (aliens), a whole heck of a lot easier. The idea was know as the "SPARTAN II Project" where children at the age of 6, who that stood out among others, would be cloned and taken from their parents. Brought into outer space to a military location know was Reach, they would train until they were old enough to have medical enhancements, trained more, then old enough to obtain the final objective...MJOLNIR armor.
Gemini was at school one day, playing outside on the playground, oblivious to the fact that the military was here...and here for her. Dr. Hasley spoke to the teacher and told her only the necessary information. The fact that she was from the ONI and working for the UNSC was a good enough reason for the teacher, after all, these people were going to fighting for Earth and its people in the upcoming battle.
The teacher showed her the way and Dr. Hasley spotted the child, making her way toward where she was playing, followed by three other Marines who stood a little ways away. The Doctor asked Gemini if she could have a little talk with her, explaining the situation and letting her know she had no choice whether or not she wanted to participate. Gemini, being the brave girl she was, accepted her fate and went willingly with Dr. Hasley to her new home. She was cloned so her parents wouldn't suffer from her loss, and put into a Pelican Drop Ship, headed for Reach. The only thing Dr. Hasley left out, was the fact that Gemini wouldn't be able to say good-bye to her family; and the possibility of her never seeing them again was there.
She made it to Reach with little effort, it was amazing to be in outer space, the location that she went to only in her dreams. She was lead to a large room and inside were 75 other children her age, girls and boys. They were to be her new family, friends, siblings, and most of all, comrades.
Days later she was given a military suit, a briefing, and an identification wrist band with her new name engraved within: SPARTAN-305. The children were then brought outside to a large obstacle course, in which was there first mission. The six-year-olds were teamed up into groups of three, there permanent teams in which they would eat, sleep, and train with; their new best friends. Gemini was the only girl in her group, which was the way she liked it. Her new team members were Matt: SPARTAN-708 and Chris: SPARTAN-107.
The children were ordered to climb the obstacle course; the fastest teams to get all three members up the pole at the end and ring the bell would be rewarded with dinner, the others left to watch. Gemini's team failed.
Later that day Dr. Hasley brought them into what looked liked an over sized classroom, a place they would be in every day at the same time until they were young teenagers, ready for one of the toughest changes in their lives: medical enhancements. The Doctor would be teaching them things about the military, talking about the SPARTAN II project, and the covenant themselves. Today's lesson: Teamwork.
The next morning the children went through excruciating exercises and tackled the obstacle course once more to earn dinner. finally, Gemini's team was successful. They ate their well deserved dinner and hit their bunks for the night, only to wake up to sore muscles and healing cuts.
Their training progressed as did their age and they were sent on many different missions. Some were fake, some were real; some children survived, and some didn't. By the time they reached the age of 14, their most dramatic experience was about to unfold and again, only the strongest would survive.
The teenagers were sent one by one into surgery, their bodies torn open and pieces replaced with medal plates and other things. The operations were conducted to dramatically enhance their skeletal, muscular, optical, and nervous systems; ones that only a Spartan could hold. Of the original 75, a reported 33 survived the processes; 30 were lost, and 12 irrevocably crippled (though still used by ONI in research and ops planning). The after affects were horrendous, Gemini lost all of her beautiful long and red hair and her teammates because very ill.
Once all resumed back to normal, the older teens were given a pre-suit that would prepare them for the MJOLNIR armor, their final bit of training. They were given numerous missions and training with the pre-suit, working with their teams to do everything the military could ever ask for. The covenant battle was coming up fast, and they needed to be ready.
The time finally came and Gemini along with the rest of the young adults got their MJOLNIR armored suits. One suit was first tested on a normal human Marine, to show the power. As the Marine went to move his arm, the suit read his thoughts and processed it faster than his own mind, moving his arm at lightning speed, and shattering it to bits. Gemini couldn't believe its force and was eager to try it on. She was the first Spartan to demonstrate its power, unbelievable speed that tripled her normal ability, and strength. Finally, everyone was equipped with their new MJOLNIR armor, their new skin.
The battle finally came, after years of preparing. Gemini and her team along with the rest of the Spartans were more than ready to fight for Earth. However, many soldiers and Spartans were lost, and Reach was overtaken by covenant forces. While some Spartans escaped, Gemini was left behind to fight them off, but things didn't turn out as planned.
She was captured by the covenant forces who wanted information about the HALO and these new weapons; Spartans. She didn't give them what they wanted, however, and kept true to her home, life, and family. In anger and rage, the covenant used her as a guinea pig to test their newest technical machine. It wouldn't ever be used as a weapon, in fact, they didn't know what it would be used for, but tried it on her anyway. As a result, it turned her into this mystical creature that resembled much like a lion, but with different traits, markings, and colors.
She was sent back down to Earth in a form such as this, without any knowledge of where she was, who she was, and what her life would entail. All she did know was that she was yet again separated from her home, family, and friends. Worst of all...she really missed Keith and Tyler.
Personality: Gemini is one tough cookie. For hanging around boys all her life and then becoming a Spartan, especially someone for her size, she had to endure a lot. Derelict and Valhalla enjoy daily games of tossing her around and wrestling with her, all of them in which she loves and simply laughs about. Gemini can be funny, serious, and caring either all at once or at different times. She makes a great Queen because of her natural leadership abilities and instincts to do what she thinks is right. Though she doesn't like being around large crowds, she will make sure her voice is heard when needed to be. She loves "the boys" more than anything else in the world and will do anything for them even if it costs her her life.
Skills: She listens. If people come to her with a problem, she will listen and try to give them alternatives to their troubles. She doesn't like being a Queen her pride members fear, she wants to be thought of as equally with the others. Because she is still a Spartan, her senses are unbelievable. She can run extremely fast, has great strength, quick wits about her, and is just an overall kick a** soldier. Gemini follows her heart and trusts in her own instincts, making sure never to leave anyone behind. Acquaintances Acquaintances:
Valhalla: Her best friend. He means the world to her and if it wasn't for him, a lot of things wouldn't have much meaning to hear. He is there to comfort her when needed and his words go pretty deep. She loves him like no other.
Derelict: Her best friend. He too means the world to her and without him, she wouldn't always be laughing and smiling like she is now. He brightens up even the dullest days and knows how to have fun. She loves him like no other.
Kione: A female lioness who could talk with her mind, a Shaman. She seemed nice, but very shy. Gemini types like this

Valhalla was confused and unsure of this new place he was going to, he wanted to go back home.
Once there he was given his ID number: SPARTAN-107, and teamed up with two other children his age; Gemini SPARTAN-305 and Derelict SPARTAN-708. They immediately started off with vigorous training and harsh punishments, deprived from dinner if they didn't follow orders, or failed at the obstacle courses. Eventually, Valhalla's team got stronger and they prevailed through most of the tests given. They were quite strong for little six year olds.
Like Gemini and Derelict, Valhalla faced many challenges and many changes as well. He survived the drop-off in the woods and made through the medical enhancement surgery all Spartans faced at 14 years of age. Vall became quite strong, determined and ready for anything, much like his team members.
After years of preparing it was finally time, the covenant attacked and the Spartans were more than ready. However, Valhalla faced the same fate the Gemini and Derelict had, and was sent down to earth as some sort of mystical lion. He lost his armor, but held a Halo pendant around his neck and a crest on his chest. He didn't understand what was going on, why he was here, and how he got to be a lion. All he really did know was that it was going to be a treacherous journey...back home.
Personality: Valhalla has a strong heart and will fight for what he believes in. He uses his head and words rather than his claws and teeth, which makes fit to be a King. He is rather sensitives and ponders on certain situations until he either figures it out, or finally lets it go. Believe it or not, there is a very wild side to this young lion. Valhalla loves to have a good time and treats life like a party, loving to be the center of attention. However, he knows well enough his duties and makes sure those always come first even if he doesn't want to. Vall has little self confidence, however, there are times where he may act as if he were conceded. But this is only a way of reassuring himself. Valhalla is also pretty rebellious and tends to listen to his instincts more than what other say; this can be a good thing or a bad thing.
Skills: Valhalla uses his mind and his words, which can help in almost any situation. He also takes the time to contemplate on tough decisions, unafraid to ask his pride members for help when needed. he asks many questions and gives many answers/alternatives to people who seek them. Vall is also fun-loving, which means he could probably cheer you up if your having a bad day. Acquaintances Acquaintances:
Gemini: His best friend who he loves and protects with all of his heart. Her kind words and encouragement is all he will ever need in life to get him through hard times he may face. Derelict: His best friend who he looks up to sometimes. Derelict is like a brother to him and he hope sit will always stay that way. Even though he can get on his nerves, he still loves him anyway.

History: As a young human boy, he joined the UNSC Marine Corps. to fight the upcoming battle against the Covenant for the possession of Halo. He worked along side the Spartans and despite his low rank, he did very well. During one battle against the newly discovered Flood, who seemed to guard this Halo structure, he was attacked and infected. For some reason, however, he could still talk and had partial control over his brain. The UNSC took him to under-go studies and experiments in order to find out more about the mysterious, yet dangerous alien species. Tucker was able to give the UNSC much valuable information.
Personality: Tucker was a very strong lion, willing to risk his life for his fellow comrades. He was brave, kind, and showed many signs of future promotions. When he was infected, however, most of his brain was taken over by the Flood, causing him to speak unclear sentences (sometimes) and twitch a lot. He tries his best to take complete control over himself, but it's not something that everyone wishes to see. In all honesty, he is misunderstood now T.T

Personality: Flood is a little snappy at times, holding a sour attitude when things don't go his way. He's pretty strong for a cub and will attack those he feels are threats. Aside from his negative traits, Flood likes to explore and is usually kind to those he cares about.

History: The humans and Elites discover an immense artificial structure—the Ark—which is well outside the Milky Way galaxy. Here, the Prophet can activate all the Halos and purge the galaxy of all sentient life. The Halos were created by the Forerunners as a last ditch effort to combat the Flood, by destroying all sentient life in the galaxy. The Chief and company quickly activate the installation's Cartographer to find Truth; in the process, Guilty Spark discovers that the Ark is creating a new ringworld to replace his destroyed installation. Guided by Guilty Spark, the Chief and the Arbiter make their way towards the control room of the Ark. During their journey, the Flood arrive on the former Covenant Holy City High Charity via slipspace, and they begin infesting the installation. Johnson is captured by Truth to activate the Ark because only a human can utilize the Forerunner technology. The Flood controlling intelligence Gravemind forges a truce with the Chief and Arbiter in an effort to stop Truth. Though Keyes is killed by the Prophet, the installation's firing is halted. After Truth is killed by the Arbiter, Gravemind quickly turns on the Chief and Arbiter, but Johnson flies away while the Chief and Arbiter fight their way out. Master Chief decides to activate the new ring being built at the Ark, sparing the galaxy at large while eliminating the local Flood. Before he can activate Halo, he needs an Activation Index, which Cortana had acquired in Halo. The Chief saves Cortana from High Charity, and overloads its main reactor to destroy the ship and take Gravemind with it.
Arriving on the new Halo, Cortana warns that the Gravemind is trying to rebuild itself on the ring. The Chief, the Arbiter, and Johnson make their way to the control room, where they will activate Halo's weapon. Guilty Spark explains that since the ring is not yet completed, a premature activation will destroy it and the Ark. When Johnson ignores his warning, Guilty Spark kills him in order to protect "his" ring. Master Chief destroys Guilty Spark, activates the ring, and barely manages to escape with the Arbiter and Cortana to Forward Unto Dawn, a UNSC ship, as Halo fires.
Back on Earth, the front half of Forward Unto Dawn crashes into the ocean, and workers cut the Arbiter out of the wreckage. A memorial service is held for the fallen heroes of the human and Covenant war; the Master Chief appears to have perished as well. After the memorial service, the Arbiter boards his ship and departs for his home planet, where the Elites are finally free of the Prophets' hegemony. Master Chief and Cortana have in fact survived Halo's firing in the rear section of the ship and await rescue, drifting helplessly through space, where they come across an unidentified planet... As for Ark, it is still a mystery as to where he came from, what he is, and what his purpose may be. A sign from the Forerunners? Guess we'll have to find out..
Personality: Ark is generally a nice lion, unable to understand his importance in this new place. He is somewhat shy, willing to do anything he is told within reason. Every now and again, Ark will see visions of past battles with the Halo and the Ark, which hurt him. They last merely a few seconds, but leave him frightened. He's not sure what they mean or why he gets them, but he wishes they would go away.
Skills: Ark has visions in which he is asked to describe when through. Master Chief, Cortana, and some of the other lions believe that he might be their ticket out of these lands and back into human forms. It's all a puzzle and Ark holds the pieces.
