kawaii_lil_miyuki_chan crying crying crying omg! i know this is really really sad, but can anyone tell me what Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaidan really is!? This is the very first time i've ever heard about it! Plz someone tell me what it is! I need to know, from what everyone's saying, it sounds totally awesome! Ahhh! But i have no clue what it is!!! sweatdrop SOMEONE TELL ME! It's about the Genbu-no-Miko, Takiko Okuda (yes, my username comes from her). It's gonna be release in the US soon, so don't worry. 3nodding

(but no seiryuu seishi... crying ) FY Genbu was written 10 years after the original FY. eek

Finally got Perfect World volume three today x_x That made my week. Volume four is on it's way along with the actual third volume of Genbu Kaiden. I'm truly starting to love the series more and more, not to mention seeing Rimudo and Takiko slowly getting closer is just great.
SPOILER:Rimudo kissed her!!! OMG I squealed so loud. Aaaaah that was so great, especially when he tells her that he'll stay by her side. heart
The drama CD that came with was great too, loved the wallpapers on the CD-ROM and the little fortune-teller game. I haven't listened to the entire drama that happens on the audio part of the CD but it sure as hell made me fall over laughing. Ah yay for transexual ghosts who just want hot guys XD I could see the whole thing playing out in my head. It was so exciting to have my favorite characters come a little more to life. Now... if they'd just animate the darned series!

i thought takiko would end up with uruki, from how the series starts anyway...then they bring in tomite (who reminds me a lot of yuhi, both in looks and personality)...rimudo...is he limdo? agh, so many names...
*cough* anyway, viz needs to come out with the releases faster...FMWS volume 2 comes out in august and it made its premiere only this month with the other manga! so why dont they let FYGK 2 come out next month too? (nothing against FMWS, im lovin it right now along with FYGK heart )

FYGK, as it stands, is only at volume four in the actual book forms, tankouban, as we know them. FYGK is being released very slowly, two new chapters are released every two months, and it takes about three or four months between each volume. So even if Viz released FYGK faster, you would be waiting a long time for more. Rimudo, is what I call him, oh, and be sure that its Tohmeeteh, when you pronounce Tomite. One girl I met as calling him tohmight, basically, and I cringed. And I'm sure if you've read enough Watase series you should know who Takiko's romantic interest is gonna be ^_~

And I'm sure if you've read enough Watase series you should know who Takiko's romantic interest is gonna be ^_~ Ouch..."tomight?" that would make me twitch just a bit...but yeah, I have an idea for takiko's lover heart I have a feeling I'm gonna enjoy this "romantic pursuit" better than the original FY's 3nodding

(hope I'm not saying any bullshit here, you know how much Japanese I can speak... sweatdrop ) Oh...I see what's going on then...So they changed it like they changed Rekka Shinen to "Lekka Shien?" (forgive my spelling) I see that sometimes, I forget where though... They should've let it be Rimudo though.

Yeah they should have kept it as Rimudo. I just recently baught FY: Genbu Kaiden in english and I love it! wel I read some scanlations of it up to volume 4 but that is it.

I just picked up volume one last night with my Harry Potter addition XD But I have yet to read it. I figure I've got a plane ride on Monday so I might as well have something to do even though I've already read it... There's something different about reading something in Japanese and then reading it again in English. Oh things are going to get interesting once FYGK has been out a little longer.
