Rotgut gave me his OMG and nitemare scarf when he quit Gaia. He also gave me his Romani shades. I'm not going to sell any of them. They've all got the same amount of value to me, personally, as gifts from a friend. 3nodding

Most of my donation items I have because I think they look nice, or could be useful in such-and-such silly outfit, or the like. I did sell off my bear pajamas, but that's it. I'm not much of an item-seller, period. *hoards* ninja

You're closer you achieving your quest though. o_O

Hmm.. The items that mean the most to me:

Nitemare Minis- Ho'man these guys took a while to get. I spent more time and money on Gaia working towards this goal than could possibly be physically healthy. I love them more than most of my real life possessions, as sad as that may be. I never actually thought I'd get them, I honestly thought I wouldn't. Its almost like a symbol to myself that I can achieve goals if I try hard enough. My minis mean way more to me than just being something I can sell later to make gold.. its not like it would help anyway. I have everything I really want thats cheaper than minis, so what good would it do me to have the gold, anyway? xp

Devil Tail- My devil tail means a lot to me, because I just feel like my avatar is incomplete most of the time without it. I gave it up once to get my minis, and I missed it more than I ever realized I would. I'm so glad I got one back in time when they were still a little under 1 mil. I believe they're up to about 5 million now, I could never make it up again.

Jacked Shirt '03- Back when I joined Gaia the first item I ever bought was a Jacked Shirt. I donated my second day for 20 letters (Jan. '04). The shirt cost me one of those letters. I sold a Jacked set to get back my Devil Tail in Oct. '04, they were worth around the same amount at the time because the Jacked sets shot up right before Halloween. I did, however, keep the original shirt that I bought. The one that was sold in the set was an extra I picked up later.

Secondary Important Items- (still mean a lot, but not as much as the others):

OMG Hat- Another thing I had to rebuy after getting minis. Typing this out I'm realizing it really did clean me out. lol I've always liked the OMG hats, just the style of them is so.. me. Its something I'd really love to wear in real life. Same thing with the Jacked Shirt, really. I've often thought about buying one of those real life OMGs, but I always missplace the site that sells them before I get around to it.

Chain Wallet- The chain wallet was my first ever donation item that I recieved from the letter itself. I bought the letters the 5th of January and waited the whole month for them to open. I remember people complained a lot that the items were small, they didn't get a lot of support. I've always loved the chain wallet, though, and I like my emo bag too. I don't wear it nearly as much, though. I think of it as an outfit enhancer, things just look better when the chain wallet is on with it.

KK Hat/Stump/Jacked Pants- These are my favorite items in the Jacked Set '03, besides the shirt. The don't have any special sentimental value, besides the fact that I love the way they look. I had an imediate love for the '03 Jacked Set when I saw it. It was one of the first things I went about buying, and luckily, it was still really cheap in Jan. '04. I've now collected up all the pieces of the set again, but the heads I almost never wear, and the gloves I wear rarely. I just like looking at them. lol I'm officially broke after this last quest, though.




Most all of my items were achieved through my own hard work, or money. I never took donations to get any of these items, they were made with gold I earned by myself. That makes them mean more to me, I think. If I would have just been given the items then I wouldn't have really understood how much work it takes to get them through my own devices.
