The morning came and a sparrow landed on Talak's arm. The bird gave a sharp call when the suns rays didn't wake the sleeping Talak. the call was so loud it startled Talak and ,,, well in a tree you don't have much balance,,, Talak was so alarmed he fell from the tree. he hit the ground with a thump. Dazed, he rose to his feet, however he now wasn't alone. Other creatures of the forest had heard the birds call and were now surrounding him. He was still too tired to morph to his wolf spirit and he relised his bow was still at the top of the tree. Quickly he turned towards the tree's trunk, jumped as high as he could and dug his nails ino the bark. the creatures realised where he was trying to get to. two of the creatures set on persuit up he trunk of the tree and a third tried to find a different way up. One of the creatures couldn't climb and stayed at the base of the tree, circling it hopeing something would fall that he could put his teeth into. Talak scrambled like a squirrel as fast as he could, though one of the creatures got hold of his leg and pulled him back. talak lost his grip and started to fall, Fortunately a branch broke his fall. he infact used the brach to his advantage. As one of the creatures dived for him he swung the branch around and knocked the creature clean out. Again he began his accent. The other creature following on the trunk was slow and Talak made it to the top of the tree with ease. he grabbed his bow and quickly set an arrow on it. He lent over the side of the branch and loosed the arrow straight into the neck of the oncoming creature. Talak lent back against the trunk of the tree thinking that he was out of harms way. however the third creature had found a way up and pounced out of a nearby tree and both Talak and the creature fell to the ground. The creature that had been waiting on the ground saw his hance and went for Talak. but Talak had already regained his strength and moved out of the way. The creature couldn't stop and hit the tree. Talak looked around for his sword but didn't see it. he noticed that the creature had made the tree shake when it hit the tree. the vibrations of the tree caused Talaks sword to fall from it's branches. he caught it in mid air and swung it at the 2 remaining creatures. They fell to the ground.
Talak: 'Well that was an nteresting battle'

The landscape was full of hills now and Kara could see the mountains in the distance. She had heard legends as a child about horrible creatures living in the mountains. Aweful stories about travelers who went into the mountains but never came out. She wasn't afraid, though. At least, that's what she told herself. The day passed with little event stopping only once to get some water. Kara decided to travel through the night as well. She thought if she reached the mountains by morning, she would have the sunlight to make it through the mountains. She hopped she could do it in a day. She wasn't looking forward to spending the night in the mountains.

Slightly limping he walked for the rest of the day trying to find water - usually he could sense where the stream is but falling twice out of the tree threw his mind a bit. Eventually he found the strem and lay by its side.

As Kara walked, she came across a stream. She looked up stream and was surprised to see someone lying next to it. She kept back for a moment but then decided he must be hurt and exhausted. She cautiously crept over to him and looked him over. She kept one hand on a katana just in case this was a trick. She wasn't sure if he had seen her or not. She noticed he was elven and his leg was badly hurt. Usually, she would have left him for dead, but something about him intrigued her. There was something farmilliar about him, although she'd never seen an elf before. She couldn't place it. But how could they have met before? She crept forward. She wished to talk to him.

Talak was day dreaming when the wind turned slightly. He caught a familiar scent. It was the rabbit girl. Without letting her know he was awake Talak tried to look to see if she was acting threatening. He only got a quick look but he did notice her hand was just touching her swords pommel. He didn't want to attack her if she didn't want to fight, however he also didn't want her to get too close incase she did. Talak pretended to be asleep but he rolled on his side for two reasons: One so he would be able to get a bettr swing from his blade if she did attack. Two to see how she reacted by his movements.

He rolled over and Kara froze. She stood stalk-still for nearly two minutes. If this was a trick, she wasn't going to be caught easily. Her grip on her katana tightened but she released when she decided he must have rolled over in his sleep. She untensed and immediately felt stupid for getting so worked up because he rolled over. Kara pretended to be interested only in the stream and went to get a drink. She immediatly felt even stupider for playing this little charade infront of a sleeping elf. Are you going to try and talk to him or not? she thought to herself. She took another look at him. What would I say? "Hello there, I saw you were just lying there and was wondering if you'd like to have a little chat?" While Kara was having this inner conversation with herself, she thought she had seen him blink. She accidentally let her guard down and stepped towards him.

Name:Silverfang Gender:female Race:an elf cursed by a wizard to remain in wolf form until she dies age:310 apearance: although she looks like a wolf she ages and is in every other aspect an elf her eyes are silve she has white and black fur
Long ago when she was only 111 she fought a wizard, she made the mistake of transforming into a wolf, he cursed her. She still has a slight bit of control over nature and is the leader of a wolf pack. She is rarely seen without her friend shadow (a wolf who is completely black and is barely visible at night) whose family was long ago bound to guard her until either they all die or she does.

Silver had just lost shadow who was kind of irritating sometimes and was looking for food and water. recalling that there was a stream nearby i ran towards it she ran silently as not to alert anyone of my presence and so that I could catch any food that i might find. I found the stream and was just about walk out to when i saw two people one was on the ground the other was standing over him. I assumed the worst and stayed in the bushes

She accidentally let her guard down and stepped towards him. So am i just going to lie here and let her get closer? I can't pretend to be asleep all day. When he saw her step foward he saw his chance to wake up. Trying not to start a fight he did a big slow yawn then opened his eyes. He pretended to be shocked to see her, but left his blade sheathed. Talak: 'Whoa! *as he stumbled back slightly* Who are you? You wouldn't have been tryin to kill me would you?'

"K-Kill you? NO!" Kara studdered. She hadn't expected him to wake up. "I... I was just..." She was really flustered. She felt like an idiot. She had let her guard down and woken him up. Kara stumbled back a good six feet, which surprised her. She was never the nervous type. "... You looked like someone I knew... Or might know... I mean I don't know you! It's just..." Kara could feel herself going red. She couldn't look him in the eye any more. She diverted her attention to the stream. "Never mind. Are you hurt?" Kara was so nervous, she didn't even notice someone standing on the other side of the stream.

Talak: 'Hey it's ok i didn't mean to startle you it's just when people ome close to me with a sword i tend to get a little defensive.'
He took a quick look down at his leg.
Talak: 'I'm fine, i just, well, i got in a fight that's all.'
He didn't want to admit falling out of a tree. Suddenly he noticed another life nearby. He looked around and saw a wolf. He knew from experience that it was no ordinary wolf.
Talak: 'Is she with you?'

Lucre: 'I'll take that as a no then.' (to the wolf)
Lucre: 'Do i know you from somewhere?' (to the girl)
He relaxed a little, he found a rok to sit on nearby, without turning his back on either the irl or the wolf he sat and rested his feet in he water.
