Yuki had never really been the spell weaver her mother or the seer her father had been. This was an opportunity that she would not want to pass up, but she knew that everything had a price. "I would love it if you found one but, what would you want in return."

Yuki had told her his name and that made her feel more comfortable and it was nice to see him laugh a bit. He had said that he was at ease around her and in all reality she felt the same about him. There was some kind of pull toward him. Her seer senses were so dull though that she was better off sometimes ignoring them. Her father had used them in battle to predict his opponents move but in the end they had failed him. Without the proper spell books she could not weave higher level spells she reached back and touched the back pocket of her skirt where she kept the journal she had with her own spell in it including the flash in her glove. "So long as you don't ask to much that is."

Yuki smiled and, "You can have it. I don't need two..."
Yuki sat up, and said, "What do you-Oh... Yeah..."

Yuki frowned a bit, but smiled slightly right away and said, "So, uh... What's up with you? Why'd you come here?"
Yuki swooshed some grass off of his legs and closed his eyes. He was a bit tired...

Yuki brushed his hair back and started to twirl it. He liked playing with his hair. It was fun.

Terri looked back up at the stars, "Its a little hard to explain." She had to be careful with what she said. The league seemed to always be watching.

"It always ran in my family, these abilities. My mother was a spell weaver and my father a battle seer. I inherited there abilities at birth. It was cool when I started learning cause my mother had all of these spell books with all sorts of spells in them. Well one night I was at a concert and when I came back home everything was gone. The house had been burned down and everyone was killed. So I came here to better hone my skills."

Terri pulled out her journal, "This is all I have left. It serves as a spell book for whatever I can come up with to weave into whatever items I can. I miss my old family but I don't hate the people who killed them, nor do I love them. They did what they had to do to survive and now I have to do what I can to do the same."

She stared at the small brown leather journal. It's hard back covers embossed, burned and imprinted with arcane and archaic symbols. A small clasp held it shut with a special magic lock that would only open when whispered the right words to reveal the crisp white pages. about a third of them were covered with an ancient form of writing that detailed every small part about the spells effects and appropriate way of weaving it. It meant a lot to her and nothing could replace it.

Yuki was completly confused and asked, "But uh... Are you avoiding my question? Or can you sense people's emotions and where they are located?"
Yuki shook his head, hair flailing out like little daggers that stung his face.
Looking up at her he began a sentence but stopped, enjoying the silence.

Yuki yawned again and got up to his feet. Walking slowly away he said, "I'm pretty tired... I guess... I should go, it's getting late, and I'm sure the dorm robots are getting angry, or something... I uh... I gotta go do something too..."
Yuki threw down the paper and yelled out, through roaring fire, "I'll find my other one when I get back home!"
Yuki sped off, quick as fire to dry grass.
Yuki usually ran off. It wasn't the first time. If things got too complicated, he left.

ooc||
Yuki: MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. -goes to burn people-
Katie: O_O; Yuki, you don't have a dorm...
Yuki: Really? Crap...
Katie: x__o -magically makes another- 8D

Terri watched Yuki disappear. She shook her head, "Till we meat again. Yuki." He had seemed a little less depressed when he left but still made the same excuse to get away from her.

Terri watched the stars and started to think of the weavers and seers of the past. They had sat under the same stars that she was now under practicing their craft. How many secrets of the world did the stars hold? How many things did they know that she did not? How much could they teach her?

Terri reached up and grabbed her forehead. Pain seared through her mind and soon all turned white. It was a vision. Every now and then they would happen and they hurt.

Terri saw a young man laying on a dirty floor with a dagger loosely held in his hand. She recognized the young man from somewhere, a person from her past. He had long dark purple hair, wore a old blue jean jacket with a back and purple shirt complete with tattered blue jeans. Blood was coming out of his mouth and from a wound in his left arm. He was in pain yet his crystal eyes were still determined and defiant. Another man entered from a dark corner. He was a tall burley man with a dark suit and sunglasses. The next thing she noticed was that he held a gun in on hand that he was now loading, "I hate to end it like this Ivy but hey you put up a nice fight. All dogs are put down in the end. Any last words." The dark figure pointed his gun at the young ones head. "Yeah, two. BITE ME."

Everything went back to white and Terri was back on the hill. Ivy She had heard it before. Then it struck her, Ivan. The two of them had been friends before the league had destroyed her family. The league had been his family. Had she just seen how he was going to die? Why would a leagueman kill one of the family? It made no sense to her. Thoough she was glad that Yuki had left before it had happened.

Van walked up the hill hoping that he would see something different than what he did. She sat there with her back to him looking at the sky. The same girl that he had seen earlier on the roof top. At first he didn't know what to say. In reallity he was afraid of what her answer would be when he asked. Finally he was behind her. It did not seem she had noticed him. "Skully."

Skully? It had been so long since Terri had heard the nick name that it almost seemed foreign. Only a few people had ever called her that and she had lost connection with all of them. She looked back to see the same young man sh had just seen die. "Grim." It had been her name for him and the sight of him scared her and angered her at the same time. It had been his family that had caused her all of this trouble. His and his alone. Soon they would know that she exsisted and would come after her. "What are you doing here?" The government had told her about League movements in Koi but she never would have thought Grim to be the one responsible.

The name confirmed it. Skully had given Ivan the name because he had been so morbid and dull when they had first met. It had been her who had made him who he was. She had been the reason that he was defiant to his family and had spurned their beliefs. "What are you doing here? Why now?"

Terri stood up. "Well lets see. Thanks to you I'm now an orphan and have been hiding with the government. I came here because it was supposed to be safe, but obviously that's not true." It came out in a fit of frustration and anger. It felt good to release it.

Van backed off. "I didn't deserve that." He had to remain calm and try yo keep things under control.

"Like hell you didn't." She was becoming angrier. "You have know idea what I have gone through because of what you and your family did to be."

"Skully..."

"Don't Skully me. Only my friends can call me that"

"Will you shut up and listen for five seconds?" They both fell silent for a few moments before Van finally spoke. "I'm sorry for what happened to your family, they were wonderful people and didn't deserve what happened. I had no idea about the raid until I saw the ashes. As far as Koi goes, your right its not as safe as most people think. Not even I'm safe anymore. The league has been trying to infiltrate the school with the drug trade, I said no so there is no telling what their going to do next. Your also right, because we can no longer be friends. It puts you into too much danger." His words could not fix the problem but they were the truth.

It all made sense to Terri and she had calmed down, "Then what are we supposed to do then? Grim, don't you think that's a bit extreme. I mean maybe we could still be friends. We snuck around behind your families back before right. We went to thase concerts and parties and they never found out. Why should this be any different?"

Van looked up at the sky. "Our lives weren't on the line last time. This is completely different." Van reached into his hair and pulled out one of the special daggers. He handed it to her. "Skully, I'm sorry but you know that it has to be this way. I know you don't carry any protection, so here take this and if you need me you know how to reach me." Van hated saying it but he knew in his heart that he had to do it.

Terri held the dagger in her hand. "So this is goodbye then isn't it."

Van started to walk away. "I'm afraid so Skully. Please understand that its only because I care for you that I must not like you."

"I do Grim. I do." Terri just stood there with the dagger and watched Van walk off to the Lounge.

Terri looked around. She had grown tired of this place. More of the memories than the actual place. Too much had happened. She had never wanted to spy on Van, but the government wanted to know what the league was up to. But he had told her. He had told her everything and Van would never have lied to her or would he. She needed to stop thinking. Van had always been defiant to his father why would he be an different now. Plus there was the fact that he had given her the only weapon she owned to protect herself.

Terri couldn't think here she had to go elsewhere. She looked back at the school. The courtyard would be empty and quiet. She put the dagger into her bot and was surprised at how well it fit inside. Terri didn't have to worry about the feel of the cold metal because of her stocking. Her journal went back into her back pocket and she walked off. Off to the Court Yard.

Kazuki walks upward the hill, holding onto one of Rae's hand. He was blushing as he walks up the hill with Rae. His cheeks were red, but not too red. He then looks around as he walks up. "We should find a stop to stay at shouldn't we??" Kazuki asked, still looking around. It would be better to sit down and rest as the two would look into the starry night. It would be great.

Raea

Rae walked closely next to Kazuki as they trekked up the hill, gently holding his hand. She was blushing slightly, both from the cold and the fact she was holding a boys hand. and didn't mind doing so either.
"Yeah, we should..." she replied, looking either side of her, searching for a place to sit and watch the stars. She had never done anything like this with a friend - one reason being she never had any friends - and was greatly looking forward to it. Rae shivered slightly as they neared the top of the hill, it was getting colder and wearing a vest probably wasn't the best idea.

Kazuki saw a great place to sit and watch the stars as he saw a couple of trees blowing gently in the wind. He had stopped for a while and then kept walking. It was cold and a gentle breeze would come every now and then. The breeze would make him shiver and kept him cold as he wore short sleeves. He turned his head as he was holding Rae's hand. He saw her shiver to the coldness and wanted to keep her warm. He had nothing to do so though. "Why don't we go lay against a tree and look across at the stars? I think that would work." Kazuki said, looking at Rae.

Raea

"Yes. I think that would work too." Rae replied to his question, smiling happily as they walked towards a small cluster of trees on the hillside. A few stars had already come out in the darkening sky, but Rae thought they would probably have to wait a little while before the sky would be dark enough for all the stars to come out. Thinking about the days events, Rae peeked a glance at Kazuki and smiled. She felt happy and some what confident around him, yet she had only known him an hour or so and she couldn't help but blush. 'Why am I feeling like this? Why do I keep blushing when I look at him?' she asked herself as she quickly looked away from him, feeling ashamed at herself for acting the way she was.
'What am I doing?!'

Kazuki sits under a tree with Rae with his back leaning against the tree. He looks across the dark, sky night and notices some glowing stars. The stars were shining brightly. Some couldn't be seen yet though. He turns his head, looking at Rae. He didn't know what was wrong with her as she looked away. Kazuki then looks back up at the sky. "What's wrong Rae? Is something the matter?" Kazuki asked with a quiet voice. He didn't want to use a loud voice as they were outside and it was nighttime. People would probably yell at him.

Raea

Rae looked up at the sky after Kazuki asked her the question. To be honest she did not know if something was the matter, she hoped there wasn't seeing as she had a friend and already thought the whole of him.
"No, I...erm...I'm not too good at communicating with people." she whispered in response, admiring the view of the stars in the sky. She hadn't thought the stars would look so pretty seeing as they were so near lots of civilization, but the sight before her was breath taking.
"It's so beautiful..." she added, turning her head to look at the stars around her, not just in front of her.

Kazuki laughs for a bit. Either something was funny or he was just crazy. He wasn't crazy though. Kazuki was laughing at what Rae had said about not being good at communicating with people. "What are you saying that you aren't good with talking to people? You are talking to me after all." Kazuki said looking at Rae with a bit of laughter in his voice. He then looks up at sky and notices more stars appearing. This was a beautiful sight.

Raea

Rae sighed gently when Kazuki laughed at her words. Pulling her knees up to her chest she looked silently down at her shoes. After a few seconds of thinking she spoke again, expressing her problem, she hoped, more clearly.
"That's the problem. I hardly know you yet I can talk to you so freely. I haven't ever been able to talk to someone like this, not for a long time" she said sighing again as tears started to form in her eyes. 'Now I'm crying. What next?' "Why is this possible? Why do I feel like this so suddenly?" she added, forgetting she was talking aloud.
With that a single tear slid down her cold cheeks.
