[ Asteria of the Stars ] What about a sub-forum for the people who help run the guild? Like an area in which they can talk about different issues going on within the guild, guild compititions, stuff like that [nod nod].
Oh an what about a guild monthly newsletter? Make a mule account and get everyone who wants the newsletter to add the mule as a friend. Then every month they send it out through the mule account to the friends list. whee Well, so far I'm really the only one running the guild... I just ask for input where it's needed, and keep it open to everyone, that way if they want to participate with any decision making or give input on guild matters then they can... The newsletter is a good Idea... I'll have to seriously think about setting that up... then we could have different people write articles for the newsletter or anything they want included and send them to the mule throughout the month. I like this idea ^_^ Anyone that want's to do an article, go ahead, I'm setting November 1 as the first newsletter date... I'll update later with the mule account's name so we can all add it to our friend's lists ok?

[ Asteria of the Stars ] Oh I thought of something else! Maybe have a sticky in each sub-forum that's just a basic introduction of the sub-forum and also outlines any rules. I do have stickys for some of them, the rules are pretty general throuout the guild, just the main ones from the guild homepage. ^_^ If I have to make more rules as we go along then I will, but so far so good ^_^

Shinys Well, so far I'm really the only one running the guild... I just ask for input where it's needed, and keep it open to everyone, that way if they want to participate with any decision making or give input on guild matters then they can... Yay! My idea helped blaugh I'll also help with dressing the mule in cool clothes 3nodding whee There should also be some basic rules for submissions like make sure you run your submission through a spell checker, and make sure it's not too long etc etc.

Ya, usually I run everything I type through a spell checker... although I'm kinda lazy today... The drawback of being up early and tired and pregnant I guess... ^_^;; I would run everything through a spell checker before I sent it out anyway, but it WOULD help if people did it themselves first.

Hmmm another idea lol. What about a help sub-forum. Just a place for people who need help with something or who have a question and stuff like that. Maybe also a sign in sticky for those who like to lurk and read and not post. Then you know they actually use the guild and aren't just a non-active member. (of course maybe this could be made when the guild is a littelarger than it is at the moment)

Just a thought, but to make it feel more...Pagan, the newsletter could go out on the Full Moon?
We did that in one of my old guilds, and I thought it was a kinda cool idea...

I like the Moon idea, and include information and supersitions about that particular Full Moon or something.. I dunno *shrug* Plus holidays are still coming up around the time of the full moon.
